The Korean cast for this is so good. Hong Kwangho and Kim Junsu are really amazing. I know they have been trying to do an English version but I think this cast really has the emotional portrayal it needs. Hong Kwangho has done Jekyl and Hyde and some solo work.

I live for these types of reactions! I couldn’t agree more, Hong Kwang Ho has a beautiful voice and it’s a pleasure to listen to someone as talented as him. Thank you.

Loved this reaction! Hong Kwang Ho's voice is AMAZING! I went to the "Death Note" musical as I'm both a fan of the manga/anime and Junsu who played L, but was BLOWN AWAY by Kwang Ho's voice! Had never heard about him before, but have loved him since. Went to watch "Jekyll & Hyde" with him a few years later.
I just discovered your channel, and will explore it more. I don't know if you've heard Junsu's solo song from the musical "The game begins", but if you haven't, I recommend it. I still love Junsu a lot as well. He is definitely one of my top favorite musical actors.

Also saw/heard Hong Kwang Ho in the musical "Cyrano". Forgot the name 😅 But it was also a really great musical ❤

I heard The Game Begins by Junsu for the first time only few weeks ago and let me tell you - it took me WEEKS to get over it! Especially that soft moment which builds into an unexpected crescendo….(I know you know which one!). Omg, so powerful! And the end to the song is so satisfying! And Hong Kwang Ho’s Voice is a GIFT!! He is SO talented, I totally understand why you were mesmerised - I listened to other versions of Death Note by other Korean musical actors and they don’t even come close! I also loved the version of Playing The Game that Kwang Ho did at Junsu’s Ballads & Musical concert. They were so powerful together.

Honestly Hong Kwang Ho and Ok Ju Hyeon, two Korean musical actors would've deserved so much more if they were born in English speaking country. But thankfully Korean musical industry is quite big and popular, so happy about that so they can continue their singing and acting. The only reason I am mentioning this is that I am very sad that people in others countries don't get to know these actors. Literally they are missing out sadly.

J'ai découvert Hong Kwang Ho grâce à Death note. J'ai été tellement bluffée par sa voix que j'ai cherché ce qu'il a chanté et ce qu'il fait. Je l'écoute tous les jours.

This is the part where he finds the Death Note and chooses to become a killer for the sake of "creating a new and better world". Basically sacrificing his innocence, though he also thinks he's doing what's right by killing off criminals
Fun fact: Hong Kwang Ho was (perhaps still is) the youngest person cast as the Phantom in a professional production of The Phantom of the Opera (back when he was 30)
