@@timothytooth4073 Just make sure it is histamine free bone broth, most gurus will tell you to cook the bone broth over night for 6 to 8 hours, that's not good as bacteria profilerate at some point, prepare your own bone broth in an instant pot for 1 to 2 hours max, add some apple cider vinegar to extract a lot of collagen from the bones. Also make sure to eliminate all the fat from your bone broth by refrigerating it and t hen remove the fat that sits on top, this is to accelerate collagen absorption and allow your digestive system plenty of rest, you can cook with the fat later, aditionaly make sure your bones are grass fed rich in antiinflamatory omega 3 fatty acids.

I've been going through a hard time the last six months to say the least. I was diagnosed with five ulcers and a hyatal hernia three weeks ago. Then a week later I found out from my Dr that the biopsy showed positive for H Pylori. What a nightmare. I can't take antibiotics or ppi's. Because of intolerance to medications. Made me so sick. I decided to do natural remedies. I'm starting to feel better and got some of my appetite back. I have lab work done in four more weeks. Praying it comes back negative. I was also told by my GI doctor that my digestive system wasn't digesting food. So I bought some of Dr Berg's Advanced Digestive Enzymes. Looking forward to feeling better.

Without tests to know for sure, i believe i just got through a bout with low stomach acid. Theorizing it came from either or 2 meds i was taking but stopped needing because of my carnivore diet for the last 9 months. HCTZ that was in with my enalapril and potassium. I started suffering from heartburn and water brash a month ago while being OMAD and IF the rest of the day. But 2 weeks ago i started taking HCl and stopped those meds. My doctor wanted me to start taking antacids while not giving me a low acid test. Im so tired of trying figure problems out on my own. The medical field only wants to push pills and i cant afford to buy supplements, so im still hoping my new lifestyle will eventually get me to proper health. Thank you for your knowledge

I managed to get to a better place healthwise by trial and error. My body told me what to avoid. And, my doc sent me to an allergist where I discovered I'm allergic to a large number of foods. Stopping those gave me instant relief from several symptoms. BTW, I found a good doctor who will work with me. Try having a frank discussion with yours and if he/she still won't work 'together' with you to get off as many meds as possible, then shop for another. My doc is an OD not an MD. ODs are the same as MDs but they also studied homeopathics. First time in years I actually look forward to a yearly doctor visit. Sounds like you are on the right path. Don't give up. Tip: If you get indigestion take one peppermint Altoid candy. It has to be peppermint not spearmint. Suck on it, don't chew it. I kicked antacids this way and now it's been over two years since I've had to take an Altoid mint. Regular mint candy won't work. Altoid peppermints are made with real mint not mint flavor and contain no sugar. Best of luck to you. ETA: Now through watching Dr. Berg, doing OMAD, keto, IF, and lots of time outdoors hiking I feel better than ever and I'll be 72 next month.

I'm thinking we might need to adjust the diet periodically. Also, with regard to my food allergies, my doc said to periodically eat something I'm allergic to but in small amounts. He is concerned that my body will start reacting to another food instead. Yay for the pickle juice! 👏 Can't drink the apple cider vinegar either. But, I make a great salad dressing with it and eat it that way. Also, I pour a little apple cider vinegar over meat and veggies stirfries. Guess we all need to adjust as we go along. I have been taking them all this year following a course of antibiotics in December last year which really wrecked my guts. I am sure that I have malabsorption of nutrients as you described in this video, and I’ve saved this one to rewatch, so that I can take in all the information. I have all the symptoms you describe: hair loss, fatigue, inflammation, brain fog and sleepy all the time. Taking iron, or any form of supplements very often results in my liver reacting against it and giving me a thumping migraine. So, I have been cautious about sousing supplements. However, after my success with the probiotics I have hope that with a change of diet and more care I will be able to improve. Thank you for all you do and congratulations on the 18 million subscribers. We are not alone! Xxx

Your eating window would be 6 hours and fasting time would be 18 hours a day. Or, if you eat at at 8, noon and 6 and not eat between meals, the eating window would be 1o hours and fasting window would be 14 hours a day. I have had a history of getting sick. I went to dance at the Pittsburgh Ballet around 6 hrs a day while doing school and one day I noticed in class I could barley lift my arms and legs. I went home and was in bed for around 3 months thinking I was about to die as I struggled to wake up and even more so to make it to the bathroom. I was had fed and stared getting bruises from laying in one same position. A terrible taste developed in my mouth and an odor that I could smell on my self. I was moved back home. Eventually got better but was never the same due to chronic injuries. One cold after that I was given a Z pack and struggled with energy. Went to another dr who gave me a iron infusion or injection due to being anemic which made my brain stop working. I still don’t understand it, maybe you do but I started having full on crying attacks that I couldn’t control and would leave me unable to do things for hours. It felt like my brain was snapping. Mayo clinic was no help. I sat in with the dr and my parents and dr told them I was acting it all up… because there was no evidence that anything was wrong with me by their testing.
Finally… my parents flew me to see another dr where they found out that I had mold exposure, the injection because of the way my DNA is could not handle the injection, I had adrenal fatigue, thyroid problem, and gluten intolerance, had stop absorbing nutrition, looked like I was pregnant though I was skinny and continued to push my body as a Ballet dancer. It took me awhile to unravel all that was going on and I still feel like I am. Oh and I was around the age of 18-early 20s when all of this happened.
Your videos go right along with what I have been taught and told though the years. They make so much sense. I wish more people understood all of this. I am still on a journey to recovery and healing. Thank you for your videos so so much! I’m learning a lot! You can be told what to do but it’s a lot better when you know the why behind it all!
I have managed to have 2 babies praise God! I would like some more videos on pregnancy. I need help navigating how to have another baby if I can. I get very very very sick when pregnant not about to keep food down and handle smells. All the foods I know I need to eat I can’t. Also it becomes just eat when I can. Any help would be appreciated!

I don’t think dairy has anything to do with that, unless you’re lactose intolerant.
Actually…, eating raw/unpastorised mature full fat cheese or milk or dairy products can be very good for your gut ( in my case it was)
The thing that did it for me was the elimination of vegetables at first, including spices garlic onion etc, and starchy vegetables and nightshades also, and eating, as raw as possible fish and meat of the highest quality, and also raw eggs of the highest quality again. And lots of yoghurt, Greek fermented with live bacteria, and possibly sauerkraut, very little every day, and I would say, mainly, the introduction of chicken bone broth which is very good for gut healing. I had the worst digestive problems before, and my diet was an Italian/Mediterranean of quite high quality albeit with my fair share of carbs obviously.
But, especially when I cooked vegetables in the oven like peppers or onions or garlic, or starchy vegetables, I reacted really bad with heavy, and I mean really heavy, bloating gas indigestion obviously ending up with runny stools. I had acid reflux/heartburn of the heaviest, unsupportable level: the moment I cleaned up my diet in the way that I described, not only I eliminated all digestive issues, my mind got so much better and my inflammation is reduced by more than 90%, including heavy sciatica for which I got hospitalised a couple of times, and arthritis on 2 operated knees. And yes, no matter how much fat I eat now the fact that I don’t eat sugar, carbs and grains and cereals et cetera any more, helped me lose all the weight that I was overweight with all my life (you couldn’t really see it too much because I’m 6 foot six tal - 2metres -) .bringing me down from 126 kg to 93 kg steady since four years. I do intermittent fasting as well, I’m now down to one meal a day, sometimes 2 in a small window, but I alternate with 24 /36 hours/sometimes 48 hours fasting. Last thing very important for me to mention is the fact that I play tennis at very high level and now, you can imagine how much better And faster i move, and also the fact that I can go on with zero snack/energy bars, zero painkillers, zero energy drinks, just a little bit of water… for hours and hours, and my recovery time is reduced to ...well, one night ! ( at 46 yrs old LOL…) And I don’t get injured anymore which was the frequent case before. All this came with an increase in stamina, energy and performance. Can now complete and beat up-and-coming promises less than half my age that I play with and coach...
      Respect & Ciao ;)

OFF-TOPIC: Before starting keto and fasting I would need to eat continually, especially in the evening and have hanger attacks in late night zone. Now even after keto and one meal a day (I eat my meal not past 6pm, usually) I still sometimes get hungry around midnight, just learned that the stomach empties it self in around 6 hours, 6-12, so could that emptying of the stomach trigger a feeling to eat, could this be a learned reaction and or leptin resistance? So this video is really THE REAL TOPIC OF WHY YOU NEED TO STAY HEALTHY. Eating consuming 1billion vitamins won't do a single thing IF YOUR OWN BODY rejects all the good healthy stuff that you swallow chew gulp.

  • @WhateverIwannaupload
    @WhateverIwannaupload 3 года назад +15

You got great content. Can you talk about rest and how the body manages it's energy. Like when a computer gets heated and crashes when do our cells get heated and crash? Can our body handle eating all the time? No, right? So what about resting and fasting . If our bodies don't want to eat and repair why do people say I'll work and fast? Resting is largely overlooked and when I first started actually resting: I left college and work to rest. It was hell. This was harder than being in a physics class feeling useless bc I can't help or add anything valuable. The example I can think of is when I went boxing once and after my workout my right arm (dominant one) was spasming, mimicking a punch, over and over again until I slept on the feeling at night. This is how we live our lives. Spasming to work eat and study. I'm reversing the damage by doing nothing 24/7 with God even tho that's not the main reason why I do nothing. Psalm. 23 is what I'm referring to. So yeah, can you talk about rest more ? I need to rest for a couple of more months before I'm 100% and I've been resting for well over a year now. Lack of rest can stunt growth, create hair loss and the body says: I'm too tired to eat, be happy or have fun.

hey nice dr berg saw my comment about malasborption and the advice i was giving ( botanologist )
first you need to check your eyes ( iridology) do you got on the white of the eye a lot of veins ( red ) ? do you got dry skin ? depression maybe too if yes you body is very acidc
i hope you dont got blood thinners rigth? do you got graving for sugar this is either overpopulation of bad gut bacteria or parasites ( mostly the first)
do a colon cleance and digestive cleance how is your thyroid btw if you got acid reflux and your fix with adaptogens the communication of the mastergland hypothalamus and rest you gonna help also digestion (reishi duanwood dragon herbs liquid ) you can use also schisandra berry ( nature awnser in glycerin) berries help the adrenals and other glands and pituitary and other adaptogens like rhodiola and aswagandha and balance hormones
you need some immunomodulatory actions very strong ( reishi duanwood) check if you thyroid is hyper or graves ( you need a lympatic cleance ) lymp fluid is the dominant fluid and the trash can of our body all wastes are there its very acidic and should not be if its very acidic your skin will be dry and it will affect thyroid a lot (hyper) and other organs
get mary ruth and dr christopher lympatic formulas stop all meat proteins and eat fruits especialy berries and black organic grapes
watermelon etc this will help alcalize your body ( not blood but lympatic) common marshmallow slippery elm bromelain and turmeric and cats claw gonna do a really be diffrence cleaning the inflammation you also probably got a obstraction
know also al hyper activity (thyroid ) etc and body you need to alcalize your body so only fruits and little fermented veggies for few weeks you gonna see..
take also probiotics 50 million 20 strains ( top tier only ) with premium fibre) you can cure it like this

(alcaline body)
and also colon cleanced if you dont do those you cant heal the liver if you got not brown or dark brown stool you got bile problems or achlorydria try to use ginger fresh (juiced ) few grams 5 min before meal this will release more bile
if still bile is not releashed then its liver problem ( big one ) or gallblader stone ( boerhavia diffusa and chanka peridra with a lot of water in the day those break all stones)
those also heal kidneys and liver (very related) if by useing ginger your stool is not darker ( brown or dark brown) but ligth brown or yellow etc you got bile prolems liver problem
      or stones in gallblader

Been doing healthy keto for 5 years. Started having issues, skin rash, hair loss, diarrhea. Had advanced stool test by naturopath ( regular doc did nothing) found intestinal yeast, lack of pancreatic enzyme, and lack of essential good bacteria. Not sure how this happened because I eat healthy keto 99% of the time. Good to know about trying carnivore. Now taking correct enzymes, probiotics, and nystatin 3x day. I attribute the rash and hair loss to malabsorbtion of vitamins, and I take a LOT! I feel like 100s of dollars literally went down the toilet!! Lol!

Are you using a nutrients app like cronometer or such to locate any deficiency? Usual deficiencies are potassium (4700mg a day needed), b1 benfotiamine (1-2g needed a day), 500mg-1000mg of b5, sleep 9 hrs a day. You can also check his videos on all the subjects you are dealing with. Following his videos, really helped me tremendously.

Thank you for sharing. I hope you feel better! Maybe this can be a reason to periodically cycle back onto healthy carbs (as advocated by Thomas Delauer, for example). Whatever works for you :)

I'm also 5 years into keto and had similar issues.
What I see is that no matter what keto experts say, the body just starts struggling on keto once the weight is low enough. I do keto like a clockwork and it is hard. Can't exercise anymore because if I burn too many calories, my body switches to carbmaking mode. And what the video says is true that too much fiber may be a problem. But then no fiber, no veggies, not enough nutrients. It's an endless problem. I wish I didn't have insulin problems. I can't fight like this forever.

Your body may still have some inflammation or your gut may still need healing. Whether that’s through probiotics, or eating grass fed intestines capsules, or other things listed (I’m not a Dr. or ND, but I feel like the GI test helps along with the enzymes. I also take Real Salt for trace minerals, have tried various grass fed beef organs, and drink hot herbal tea as well as ACV and lemon in water. From Dr. Berg’s videos, it seems like the pancreas, liver, gallbladder, stomach, and other organs work together to release bile, enzymes, and other things. I would suggest looking into Lugol’s iodine topically and getting a serum test. Low iodine can cause low thyroid, infections, depression, and so can low iron, but you need to get iodine tested regularly as it can also impact the thyroid function if you take too much, but I stated adding it every other day and felt the difference in energy and mood within hours that has made a huge difference. I have also been considering going to an iridologist, as I have heard they can see what’s going on in various organs in the body through the eye.

I was very sick like my brain bled they said go home and die and I ate the meat diet at first but then I switched to salted shelled nuts but I did eat a lot of cooked broccoli cabbage Brussel sprouts and lots of super food salads that was 6 years ago and I’ve been growing learning foraging mushrooms and trying to grow as a person and eating healthy and trying to learn why my body wasn’t working how the dr told me I’m glad I became informed it’s almost like they were prescribing me things to hurt me not help me and they should stay current and be updated on current treatments and as things in science and research progress and if the old dogs aren’t willing to relearn some things and realize just because they were taught wrong doesn’t mean they meant it but they can choose to progress and move forward with more life saving treatments and most of all nutrition and vitamins deficiency which is why it would be awesome to have someone knowledgeable about this working at the fda and usda so we can at least be informed about what’s really going on~ all the information shouldn’t be a privilege 💛☀️

It's too early for me to give you any input on efficacy of these suggestions - but as a Crohn's patient for 40 + years, who has had a terminal illium-secum XO 20 years ago - - much of what I've seen here makes sense. I've just discovered your channel and I know this is an old posing - but I've subscribed, liked, now commenting and I will definitely be checking out your playlists. Thanks

Increased sigA is equivalent to inflammation of intestinal walls…further one should test for zonulin as well to find if there is intestinal permeability present as well .

Thank you 🙏 Dr. Berg, because of your vids on leaky gut, I am able to manage my sudden onset food sensitivities at age 58, manifesting as eczema (diagnosed by derma at Kaiser)on my face. I am on my second month of collagen, glutamine, wheatgrass juice powder. Yesterday I was able to eat tomato sauce (spaghetti) sauce and did not wake up with red hot itchy raised lesions on my face. Doctors (PCP, allergologist, GI) at Sutter Gould scoff at leaky gut, says there is no such thing, 🙄 did not offer any advise other than continue hydrocortisone ointment.
