What I would like to see appear in Spider-Man 3: -All of the suits from previous 3 games -Suit powers -All the gadgets from previous 3 games but maybe have only 4 or 8 slots to choose -Time and weather change -Replayable missions -Enemy bases -Suit mods from previous 3 games -New Game Plus -Wrinkles on suits when diving midair -Character bios -Tests -Collectibles (ex. backpacks) -Quick time events for car chases -The option to choose a free roam soundtrack from all previous games -Time challenges (Ex. Task Master challenges)
They actually did a version of Superior Spider-Man where instead of Otto taking control of Peter's mind he takes over Miles' mind in the story Spider-Man Life Story by Chip Zdarsky. It was a really amazing reveal in the comic and I think it would be awesome if they adapted it.
Yeah I thought about it being a Life Story reference! It could be cool to see what they'd do with the idea, cause you can have a mirror to Miles saving Peter in SM2 Just hoping if they do it, it won't feel too repetitive
Ok. At first I didn’t want the Superior Spider-man Storyline because I felt they would be doing a lot with the story and we already went through a story where Peter is dark and edgy blah blah blah. But doing the Superior Spider-man storyline through Miles sounds way more interesting. And it would be interesting to see Peter’s perspective of his former mentor and friend“Otto” taking over the mind and body of his protege and what lengths Peter will go to bring the real Miles back. I actually really want to see this now.
I agree, put miles at the top of his game and then bring him back down a notch or make Miles Morales 2 leading into 3 and that's how Peter comes back. We need an evil Miles story. It's only right because of what happened to Peter.
I think the game should start with Green Goblin being active, but keep the mystery of his identity to the characters. He can proove to difficult for Miles, forcing Peter to stop his break early
I honestly just don’t want to see another friend turned foe type of storyline all over again. GodzillaMendoza has a whole video talking about this and I feel the same way as him. I think Insomniac has an incredible opportunity for Carnage to be something different this time if they do his character justice after that cliffhanger ending in The Flame side story.
Superior Spider-Man is super likely imo, like it makes sense with Otto’s whole degenerative motor functions deal he’s got going on. Plus, that post credits scene in SM2 shows Otto’s face with Spider-Man eye shape shadows on his face from his glasses, which feels pretty intentional to me. Also, Insomniac Spider-Man’s first interaction with the Spiderverse was with superior Spider-Man. Cindy Moon will likely have to pick up some slack from the gap left by whoever gets their body taken over by Otto. Speaking of her, her enhanced spider sense and organic fingertip webs would allow for interesting abilities, maybe even web constructs.
Things this game needs: #1 better writing that plays on the emotions; hire comic book writers back wtf #2 better gameplay loop; more to do in the open world, more side quests more villain takedown missions, add an actual day n night cycle. #3 slightly improve the already good mechanics; add wall combat, more enemy variety, better swinging (web climbing) #4 make an impact, make it memorable, if they’re going to kill off Peter it has to be one of the best Spider-Man stories ever written with atsv and itsv caliber of writing. They have a lot of work to do to improve the characters but it CAN be done. I have faith in insomniac they just need to do better than they did with SM2. The responsibility to “get it right” was not upheld in the sane way it was for the first game. Just like their tagline. “BE GREATER” do better ik they can

I know Insomniac love to adapt from the ultimate comics but I hope they keep the original design for green goblin & not go for the monstrous version of him, unless he's the og version for the first 2 acts then becomes a more monstrous version in the 3rd act
W Salvage vid. What I want in sm3 is for peter to keep the anti venom symbiote its SO COOL that this version of peter can have a symbiote that doesn't make him evil pr takeover his body.
@jojones9345 Gadgets are what make the combat fun, man. That plus the movement. The gadgets in SM2 were disappointing. I'm hoping for more variety and more creative gadgets.
The main improvements I want to see gameplay wise is: 360° movement on walls when running, smoother momentum carry-over for the parkour animations, holding O while running on ANY SURFACE triggers a spider-tumble which doubles as a long dodge mechanic and a parkour mechanic, web climbing, dual web multi-loop-de-loops, running on the ground while holding the web, More moves like the web swing kick combo that make use of the web strike input in succession to the basic strikes to create more melee combos, make more gadgets that are tailored to solving different crises (car crashes, fires, trapped civilians etc) as well as for stealth situations (trip wire), Max Payne Style Slo Mo mode for when you're aiming with the trigger to shoot webs
Also I agree. I like Silk, but it felt like they kinda just shoehorned her in at the end of the 2nd game for no reason. Like I think this story just works a lot better with just Peter and Miles and no other Spider person. If they wanted, I would’ve preferred if Silk was the one who tried to retrieve all the Spider-Verse bots Instead of some random woman in a bar. I think what the 2nd post credit scene *should’ve* been is seeing Vemom’s tongue that Kraven cut off in Times Square forming into a piece of the Venom symbiote teasing that Venom will return. This post credit scene would also make a lot more sense since it’s been leaked that Insomniac are planning to make a Venom game down the line. Another addition I’d make to this 3rd game is an online mode you unlock after beating the game. It would be similar to what Ghost of Tsushima or Batman Arkham Origins did. It’s pretty much just the cancelled Spider-man the great web concept minus the live-service elements.

There is a line I think Peter should say to Norman Osborn after he beat the Goblin. "I always blamed Otto and Li for my Aunt May's death. Sure, Li found the Devil's Breath and Otto released it. But you created it in the first place. You were the one who killed her along with all who died from the decease.
What I would like is for Miles and Cindy to enter the multiverse and maybe get trapped there visiting different spidermen and villans. Otto takes over Miles somehow. Something happens to Mj which will make peter alone and he will have to fight all of the sinister six and other villans but this time its more chaotic. Boss battles with maybe like 3 of them at the same time instead of 1 by 1 in the first game. And by the end of the game you could somehow merge Miles and Peters storylines together and finish it off with Peter dying. Maybe in order to cure Miles life he has to end his own.
The one thing we need is if and when we have a boss battle with Norman, we need to fight him across the entire city, web swinging against his glider, throwing each other through buildings etc… I also can see Otto going back to his old research and power up their eventual army of goons with the powers of all the other villains throughout the series. Imagine we get random thugs with Electro like powers or flying like vulture. Would be an easy way to keep enemy variety for both gameplay and story. But if I had to choose one thing that I want more than anything, is give us a boss battle against green goblin but it takes place across the entire city. Maybe have it be similar to how Zoom did with the flash in season 2. Have us try to fight Norman and Miles (Otto brain) and have them drag Peter around New York to all the different places where Peter failed ( I.e Mays house, feast, Brooklyn visions etc ), ending up at May and Ben’s graves where Peter is just absolutely demolished by Goblin and that’s when Miles starts fighting back against Otto’s control. Idk just some ideas I had who knows what will happen but we need that full map boss fight for sure
I have a theory that in the third game. The big twist of the story will be it was Norman who was responsible for Emily’s death. Like Norman was obsessed with creating the next stage in human evolution & to save on paying test subjects. He used his wife instead. Using the same ‘heal the world’ line as a way of justifying to her. Even though the content tests was what lead to Emily have her illness in the first place. Then the two had Harry & whatever illness Emily developed was then brought over into Harry. So when Emily died, that’s why Norman’s so obsessed with curing Harry. Not only because he feels bad for what he did. But also so the information that he technically killed his wife doesn’t get out & tank his entire company. Something Otto would be very happy to do. This could work for a few reason. Like I said. We need a reason for Norman & Otto to break the little pact they made at the end of the last game & having the one who was betrayed suddenly have a blackmail card on the business man is a good way to build conflict. Two, it would be a good way to give Harry a cure by revealing that the illness he had wasn’t natural it was a case of genetic manipulation. So it might be easier to find a cure when it’s to do with combatting a serum instead of an illness. Also, we need a reason to hate Norman. ‘Cause at the moment, I can’t see this sad & depressed father play a cackling & psychopathic goblin. We need a reason to hate this guy & having it revealed that he was behind this illness which is what lead to Devil’s Breath & the Symbiote & basically the overarching plot of these games is a good way to end off what’s presumably going to be the final villain of this line of games.
Maybe one reason why they decided to have Peter keep the Anti-Venom is because after the Venom game, maybe Oscorp get the carnage symbiotie and we get Red Goblin
They almost made it work with the stealth but the second she tanked one of the arrows I was over it. Plus being able to full sprint at a hunter and still win… I mean cmon. Yeah I agree, they need to chill, MJ is not superhuman and she’s barely a “trained agent.”
Yeah they made her character feel like her character in the first game then the second game she was definitely Op and yes she trained with Sable which was kind of weird because they didn't even give us a flashback with that that's one of the problems about Marvel's Spider-Man 2 everything felt rushed I really think Marvel's Spider-Man 2 was not finished and the reason why they rushed it out was because a lot of people were complaining about when is the game being released I think that's one of the reasons why we got a unfinished product and I'm not saying Marvel's spider-man 2 is a bad game it just felt rushed and a lot of things got watered down from the last two games
I like the idea of playing the Superior Spider-Man card with Miles and Otto. Since Miles has more powers than Peter, having those powers with the mind of ill-intent would be dangerous for the city. I don't know if Insomniac will have the greenlight to kill off Rio like she is in the comics, but they could kill off Aaron.
In fact, all I wanted from Marvel's Spider-Man 2 was a feature to switch between a regular suit and a symbiote suit with one button, but unfortunately this did not happen.
I just hope this game is longer than the first two. I think I've heard rumors that the third game might be split into two parts with the second one releasing about a year after the first. I think that would be a great idea
Yeah I heard that true, I think the first part could be resolving conflict between Peter and Ock, with Ock being the main villain. Then introducing Goblin in the second act. In next part of game, Peter has to take on Green Goblin.
Not a fan of the splitting in two parts idea. That makes me worried for how much they’ll improve it, which signals not much. We need to revolutionize the swinging, like it has no excuse to not be the best web swinging system ever.
All I want is Miles takes a back seat in the second act. We need this game to be a Peter game. This trilogy is the end of this Peters story ( most likely). All I want is Peter to shine because they made him sit in the back seat this game.

i think itd be sick if harry gets the anti venom symbiote, then we get a venom standalone game with harry and the anti venom with the option to change back into the black venom suit along with a bunch of other possible suits for venom.
although this isn’t on topic I had a cool idea I wanted to hear your thoughts on salvage, so for the spider arm jump and spider arm dash, I feel like you should be able to turn them off and on since for some suits like the sam raimi suit it looks weird, what they could do is something like the amazing spider-man 2 game where peter sling shots mid air, so for the spider jump it would be like where peter pulls himself up with his webs in like an angle, and for the dash he sort of leans back and pulls himself forward.
My Spider-man 3 Ps5 Predictions: Here are my picks: Story Boss fights in order: Opening Fight: Silvermane, Boss fight #1: The Spider-Slayer, Boss Fight #2: Hobgoblin, Boss Fight #3: Doc Ock (as Superior Spider-man), Final Battle: Green Goblin Side villain boss fights: Morbius (he was in Spider-man 1 looking a bit pale), Hydro man, Vermin, Swarm DLC boss fights: DLC #1: The Chameleon DLC #2: Shriek DLC #3: The Jackal
Definitely have more villains in side missions and less side missions that are like the EMF ones. Build story arcs like they did for setting up Carnage and the Chameleon. I know the fight between Otto and Norman will be personal for Peter but I want there to be stakes for Miles as well.
Ok I thought the “Harry being alive” at first was kinda dumb because if he died Norman would have more of a reason to hate the Spidermen but there is a way to save this. Maybe “Harry” died however Norman tries everything to try to revive him but ends up creating something that’s not Harry……… the Hobgoblin. I think a personality taking over Harry would hit hard especially for Peter knowing that, even though it looks like his best friend and sounds like him, he will never truly get his best friend back and he truly did die at the end of the second game.
My idea is Norman becomes Green Goblin in the opening cinematic and he's actually the first boss of the game when he attacks May's house you'll fight him multiple times obviously
Villians: Doc ock Hydro man Hobgoblin Chameleon And green goblin Have a hobgoblin and green goblin team up after you defeat dock ock, have everything set up for goblin to be Norman and have it revealed to be harry
-Doc oct and green goblin rivalry between each fighting each other at some point. -wall and ceiling combat. -Suit powers(multiple different ultimate abilities). -Spiderman 1/remastered gadgets back. -miles being taking over by doc oct makes more sense since doc oct might see him as the better Spiderman. -a fight or two with hobgoblin and maybe at some point being on petes side. -alittle more content with miles(better content too). Silk could be side content

I feel like there should be 3 major villains Doc Oct again, the Jackal , and Green goblin, with these arcs , superior spiderman , Spider island with the jackal sense cindy moon is in it , the ultimate sacrifice wear peter fights a hulked out goblin and maybe just maybe throw in cletus cassidy for the red goblin to come in late game but make the green goblin transition from using his glider and tech to taking the oz serum more evolving into a mutation making him the size and power he had in the ultimate comics being a literal monster and the super arc should be in the beginning
I get what you're saying but personally, I would prefer that MJ dies instead of being in a coma. If Green Goblin is going to be the main antagonist, then you already know what he's planning to do to Peter's love interest. Since Norman said, "You're like a son to me." to Peter followed by going to visit Otto in prison and Otto knows Peter is Spider-Man, Norman could use that information to hurt Peter in the same way that he feels Peter hurt him. If Goblin kills MJ, then he would've achieved that.
If they're gonna make a mj mission they gotta embrace more of the horror aspect in there fill it with jumpscares dont hold back And they shouldn't get rid of the suit because the whole game lead up to pete getting it but if it goes to harry that'll be cool to see more of Harry and pete team up to fight goblin

Seeing how sony made them rush development i really hope they got more time to work on the story and mechanics, take all the aspects of 1 and 2 that worked and improve them a bit, nothing crazy the game is already functionally amazing. Oh and animations for swinging close to the ground, like running along it or grazing past it with your hands, seriously we shoulda had this already. edit: just as im watching u mentioned the zero swing assist making you swing lower it seems this isnt just some small ask lots of people want it.
Firstly I would just like to say I totally disagree with the killing Hailey part if they do end up taking the route you suggested and say Ock does control Miles. He would have no Quarrel with Miles so there would be no reason for him to go after his loved ones unless maybe she follows him to a Lair to try and reason or help him. I would like to see a prowler Miles fight where he dies though maybe Miles dealing with the fact he killed his uncle could build his character like you said. Also if Miles does become controlled by Otto maybe instead of a suit with spider arms he designs a suit that generates electricity for Miles to power up from and juice up that could be an interesting superior suit lmk what you think. To cap it off some ideas others listed in the comments I would like to see are - wall/ceiling combat - vehicles - fully customizable suit options (like you mentioned) - new game plus at start - races - more evolution to miles powers - Pete finding a way to updgrade his nanotech
The only way to really make the story for the next spider-man game is to make it simple. They should just try to capture spider-man the 2 spider-men but Norman and Otto have to lure miles into multiple trap to stop miles from protecting Peter (miles gets beat and knocked out by surprise surprise by Otto and the henchmen who distracted him enough to the point of Otto hopping on miles beats on him to the point where he is knocked unconscious) which puts Peter in a position where he has to be spider-man again to save miles. While is doing that he finds out what Norman and Otto has been up to (all that Norman and Otto have been planning should be explained through a dlc story about 2 hours long which builds up that plan)Mj should be like oracle in the Arkham games (where she finds information through hacking, able to see Peter’s health levels, find clues for Peter, and I think this would make her far more useful than always going out to help Peter) what if connections between Mj and Peter cellular falls off which leaves Peter all alone to find miles. While Peter is doing that Mj is defending herself from undercover henchmen of Otto. Mj try’s to defend herself even to the point where she knocks out a guard with her taser gun but can’t handle all of the henchmen as she gets captured(which is all a cutscene) as Peter goes through enhanced traps(the same thing miles went through to find Otto and Norman but enhanced) as Peter is going through those traps Mj sees miles who has been beaten and knocked out. Mj Gets butched by a gun which knocks her unconscious as well. As Peter is going through the traps he finds Miles and Mj Knocked out. Peter’s spider senses go off as Otto’s henchman almost ambushed him but avoid as he beats every henchman or guard and the room up. Otto tries to catch him off guard but Peter webs into a ventilation system and Otto hunts him down from their as we get a cool predator meets pray sequence as we (the player) are trying to escape the ventilations and elevators without Otto finding us but as soon as we find a way out of that and swings out catches us by the legs and Peter and Otto are falling and fighting and a cutscene sequence which cuts back to the gameplay as we have to avoid Otto from capturing us to as he’s chasing us he’s hits us with every surprise ever (as he throwing debris, bricks and simply coming from every direction trying to get us with his four tentacles which we as the players have to dodge or avoid get taken by the tentacles) this could be where silk comes into help Peter fight Otto and we we can switch between the two like with robin and Batman in that one Arkham Knight mission. Also side notes have us play with silk (side missions that tells us how she got into New York or through a dlc where she’s getting hunted down by someone because she got into the city illegally) that’s really all I could think of right now if someone can add more to the story I would appreciate that.
A small request, but I really hope that Black Cat will have a more sizable role in Insomniac 3. I'm not going to lie; I was disappointed having Black Cat only for one scene with Miles when Peter was with the symbiote at the time in the story. If Cat saw Peter with the symbiote, she could've been a true foil to MJ since Peter would've been more open to Cat's ambiguous ideas of fun since his pragmatic morality would be murky due to the symbiote's influence.
I agree with the main villain coming sooner but I disagree about it being bad venom came in the “3rd act” I just think the game should’ve been longer in the backend and that they should’ve took out some of the filler in the start of the game to start Peter’s symbiote arc not necessarily sooner per say but without the unnecessary story points like the highschool bike ride
Story needs to be long enough where the plot is paced well and not feel like everything's thrown at the wall to see what sticks or that everything is progressing so fast that you have to keep up with every little detail One of the things I liked about the first game was it was spaced out well but the story just felt natural as it continued I did not get that same feeling with the sequel I don't mind if we have longer story missions either I was really frustrated with the total number of story missions in the sequel and I found out there was a lot of cut content
What I like to see return in Marvels Spider-Man 3 is the police involved during car speed chases and you pressing the Box button repeatedly and it lasting longer and what I think they should add in the Marvel's Spider-Man 3 is when you do a car speed chase sometimes it will be two Spider-Man stopping a vehicle but sometimes it would be either two vehicles or one vehicle filled with enemies and of course involving the police like in Marvel's Spider-Man 1 and in Spider-Man Miles Morales Marvel's Spider-Man 2 got watered down a lot so yeah I hope they bring all this stuff back but better what I just said because it's kind of weird that Marvel's Spider-Man 2 car speed chases are not better than the last two games so yeah they definitely need to work on that and not rush it and take their sweet time Marvel's Spider-Man 3 can be the greatest Spider-Man game ever made 💯💯💯
I just want Peter to not have the anti-venom suit or just use it as last resort kind of thing so we still have classic spider-man. Also I would like Peter to be treated with respect and not nerfed to the ground like he was in Spider-Man 2. I want peter to still be the main spider-man not retired or dead.

I heard there’s 3 dlc in spiderman 2 the Beatles. Extreme Carnige in the spider verse anomaly so maybe there can improve on the story there and then, when Spider-Man three comes, they make it even better

I lowkey feel like silk will be the reason this game flops (coming from a silk fan) I just don’t care for anymore crammed spider people to eat up this games run time, and she will feel forced to be “important” when this game is supposed to be the culmination of all three games and she’s kinda just there and I bet they’ll make her have some interjected impact that takes away from miles and Pete. And from a gameplay perspective it’s the same concept, I hate playing as too many characters, makes my perspective on the gameplay and story feel disconnected as I’m constantly switching between too many people. And the gameplay itself overall will probably not be as good as it could be because they have to allocate some much resources just to be able to make her playable with her own animations and abilities, dialogue, missions etc I would much rather have her being like how miles was in sm1, at MOST playble in very short sections (preferably none), but not a main driving point in this game, just a background character that is being slowly built up and then maybe she can get her own game or be a co protagonist in miles game after sm3 All I know is that whoever they hire to write the third game is going to have a hell of a time sweeping up the mess that the 2nd games writers made

Have goblin kill MJ flip the story from what we were used to with Gwen. And have MJ being the one getting got. It would really add to the emotional part of this game. And like you said it could add to his anger with him not having the black suit.

They actually did a version of Superior Spider-Man where instead of Otto taking control of Peter's mind he takes over Miles' mind in the story Spider-Man Life Story by Chip Zdarsky. It was a really amazing reveal in the comic and I think it would be awesome if they adapted it.

Ok. At first I didn’t want the Superior Spider-man Storyline because I felt they would be doing a lot with the story and we already went through a story where Peter is dark and edgy blah blah blah. But doing the Superior Spider-man storyline through Miles sounds way more interesting. And it would be interesting to see Peter’s perspective of his former mentor and friend“Otto” taking over the mind and body of his protege and what lengths Peter will go to bring the real Miles back. I actually really want to see this now.
I agree, put miles at the top of his game and then bring him back down a notch or make Miles Morales 2 leading into 3 and that's how Peter comes back. We need an evil Miles story. It's only right because of what happened to Peter.

I think the game should start with Green Goblin being active, but keep the mystery of his identity to the characters. He can proove to difficult for Miles, forcing Peter to stop his break early
I honestly just don’t want to see another friend turned foe type of storyline all over again. GodzillaMendoza has a whole video talking about this and I feel the same way as him. I think Insomniac has an incredible opportunity for Carnage to be something different this time if they do his character justice after that cliffhanger ending in The Flame side story.
Superior Spider-Man is super likely imo, like it makes sense with Otto’s whole degenerative motor functions deal he’s got going on. Plus, that post credits scene in SM2 shows Otto’s face with Spider-Man eye shape shadows on his face from his glasses, which feels pretty intentional to me. Also, Insomniac Spider-Man’s first interaction with the Spiderverse was with superior Spider-Man.
Cindy Moon will likely have to pick up some slack from the gap left by whoever gets their body taken over by Otto.
Speaking of her, her enhanced spider sense and organic fingertip webs would allow for interesting abilities, maybe even web constructs.
Things this game needs: #1 better writing that plays on the emotions; hire comic book writers back wtf
#2 better gameplay loop; more to do in the open world, more side quests more villain takedown missions, add an actual day n night cycle.
#3 slightly improve the already good mechanics; add wall combat, more enemy variety, better swinging (web climbing)
#4 make an impact, make it memorable, if they’re going to kill off Peter it has to be one of the best Spider-Man stories ever written with atsv and itsv caliber of writing. They have a lot of work to do to improve the characters but it CAN be done. I have faith in insomniac they just need to do better than they did with SM2. The responsibility to “get it right” was not upheld in the sane way it was for the first game. Just like their tagline. “BE GREATER” do better ik they can

@jojones9345 Gadgets are what make the combat fun, man. That plus the movement. The gadgets in SM2 were disappointing. I'm hoping for more variety and more creative gadgets.
The main improvements I want to see gameplay wise is:
360° movement on walls when running,
smoother momentum carry-over for the parkour animations,
holding O while running on ANY SURFACE triggers a spider-tumble which doubles as a long dodge mechanic and a parkour mechanic,
web climbing, dual web multi-loop-de-loops, running on the ground while holding the web,
More moves like the web swing kick combo that make use of the web strike input in succession to the basic strikes to create more melee combos,
make more gadgets that are tailored to solving different crises (car crashes, fires, trapped civilians etc) as well as for stealth situations (trip wire),
Max Payne Style Slo Mo mode for when you're aiming with the trigger to shoot webs

Also I agree. I like Silk, but it felt like they kinda just shoehorned her in at the end of the 2nd game for no reason. Like I think this story just works a lot better with just Peter and Miles and no other Spider person. If they wanted, I would’ve preferred if Silk was the one who tried to retrieve all the Spider-Verse bots Instead of some random woman in a bar. I think what the 2nd post credit scene *should’ve* been is seeing Vemom’s tongue that Kraven cut off in Times Square forming into a piece of the Venom symbiote teasing that Venom will return. This post credit scene would also make a lot more sense since it’s been leaked that Insomniac are planning to make a Venom game down the line. Another addition I’d make to this 3rd game is an online mode you unlock after beating the game. It would be similar to what Ghost of Tsushima or Batman Arkham Origins did. It’s pretty much just the cancelled Spider-man the great web concept minus the live-service elements.

What I would like is for Miles and Cindy to enter the multiverse and maybe get trapped there visiting different spidermen and villans. Otto takes over Miles somehow. Something happens to Mj which will make peter alone and he will have to fight all of the sinister six and other villans but this time its more chaotic. Boss battles with maybe like 3 of them at the same time instead of 1 by 1 in the first game. And by the end of the game you could somehow merge Miles and Peters storylines together and finish it off with Peter dying. Maybe in order to cure Miles life he has to end his own.
The one thing we need is if and when we have a boss battle with Norman, we need to fight him across the entire city, web swinging against his glider, throwing each other through buildings etc… I also can see Otto going back to his old research and power up their eventual army of goons with the powers of all the other villains throughout the series. Imagine we get random thugs with Electro like powers or flying like vulture. Would be an easy way to keep enemy variety for both gameplay and story. But if I had to choose one thing that I want more than anything, is give us a boss battle against green goblin but it takes place across the entire city. Maybe have it be similar to how Zoom did with the flash in season 2. Have us try to fight Norman and Miles (Otto brain) and have them drag Peter around New York to all the different places where Peter failed ( I.e Mays house, feast, Brooklyn visions etc ), ending up at May and Ben’s graves where Peter is just absolutely demolished by Goblin and that’s when Miles starts fighting back against Otto’s control. Idk just some ideas I had who knows what will happen but we need that full map boss fight for sure
I have a theory that in the third game. The big twist of the story will be it was Norman who was responsible for Emily’s death. Like Norman was obsessed with creating the next stage in human evolution & to save on paying test subjects. He used his wife instead. Using the same ‘heal the world’ line as a way of justifying to her. Even though the content tests was what lead to Emily have her illness in the first place. Then the two had Harry & whatever illness Emily developed was then brought over into Harry. So when Emily died, that’s why Norman’s so obsessed with curing Harry. Not only because he feels bad for what he did. But also so the information that he technically killed his wife doesn’t get out & tank his entire company. Something Otto would be very happy to do. This could work for a few reason. Like I said. We need a reason for Norman & Otto to break the little pact they made at the end of the last game & having the one who was betrayed suddenly have a blackmail card on the business man is a good way to build conflict. Two, it would be a good way to give Harry a cure by revealing that the illness he had wasn’t natural it was a case of genetic manipulation. So it might be easier to find a cure when it’s to do with combatting a serum instead of an illness. Also, we need a reason to hate Norman. ‘Cause at the moment, I can’t see this sad & depressed father play a cackling & psychopathic goblin. We need a reason to hate this guy & having it revealed that he was behind this illness which is what lead to Devil’s Breath & the Symbiote & basically the overarching plot of these games is a good way to end off what’s presumably going to be the final villain of this line of games.
If they are gonna have Spiderman 3 I want to see some things that involve punisher in them or perhaps punisher trying to kill Spiderman

Yeah they made her character feel like her character in the first game then the second game she was definitely Op and yes she trained with Sable which was kind of weird because they didn't even give us a flashback with that that's one of the problems about Marvel's Spider-Man 2 everything felt rushed I really think Marvel's Spider-Man 2 was not finished and the reason why they rushed it out was because a lot of people were complaining about when is the game being released I think that's one of the reasons why we got a unfinished product and I'm not saying Marvel's spider-man 2 is a bad game it just felt rushed and a lot of things got watered down from the last two games
I like the idea of playing the Superior Spider-Man card with Miles and Otto. Since Miles has more powers than Peter, having those powers with the mind of ill-intent would be dangerous for the city. I don't know if Insomniac will have the greenlight to kill off Rio like she is in the comics, but they could kill off Aaron.
In fact, all I wanted from Marvel's Spider-Man 2 was a feature to switch between a regular suit and a symbiote suit with one button, but unfortunately this did not happen.

although this isn’t on topic I had a cool idea I wanted to hear your thoughts on salvage, so for the spider arm jump and spider arm dash, I feel like you should be able to turn them off and on since for some suits like the sam raimi suit it looks weird, what they could do is something like the amazing spider-man 2 game where peter sling shots mid air, so for the spider jump it would be like where peter pulls himself up with his webs in like an angle, and for the dash he sort of leans back and pulls himself forward.

Ok I thought the “Harry being alive” at first was kinda dumb because if he died Norman would have more of a reason to hate the Spidermen but there is a way to save this. Maybe “Harry” died however Norman tries everything to try to revive him but ends up creating something that’s not Harry……… the Hobgoblin. I think a personality taking over Harry would hit hard especially for Peter knowing that, even though it looks like his best friend and sounds like him, he will never truly get his best friend back and he truly did die at the end of the second game.
My idea is Norman becomes Green Goblin in the opening cinematic and he's actually the first boss of the game when he attacks May's house you'll fight him multiple times obviously

I get what you're saying but personally, I would prefer that MJ dies instead of being in a coma. If Green Goblin is going to be the main antagonist, then you already know what he's planning to do to Peter's love interest. Since Norman said, "You're like a son to me." to Peter followed by going to visit Otto in prison and Otto knows Peter is Spider-Man, Norman could use that information to hurt Peter in the same way that he feels Peter hurt him. If Goblin kills MJ, then he would've achieved that.

Seeing how sony made them rush development i really hope they got more time to work on the story and mechanics, take all the aspects of 1 and 2 that worked and improve them a bit, nothing crazy the game is already functionally amazing. Oh and animations for swinging close to the ground, like running along it or grazing past it with your hands, seriously we shoulda had this already.

Firstly I would just like to say I totally disagree with the killing Hailey part if they do end up taking the route you suggested and say Ock does control Miles. He would have no Quarrel with Miles so there would be no reason for him to go after his loved ones unless maybe she follows him to a Lair to try and reason or help him. I would like to see a prowler Miles fight where he dies though maybe Miles dealing with the fact he killed his uncle could build his character like you said. Also if Miles does become controlled by Otto maybe instead of a suit with spider arms he designs a suit that generates electricity for Miles to power up from and juice up that could be an interesting superior suit lmk what you think. To cap it off some ideas others listed in the comments I would like to see are
- wall/ceiling combat
- vehicles
- fully customizable suit options (like you mentioned)
- new game plus at start
- races
- more evolution to miles powers
- Pete finding a way to updgrade his nanotech

Hey slavage for me spiderman 2 is a 10/10
The only way to really make the story for the next spider-man game is to make it simple. They should just try to capture spider-man the 2 spider-men but Norman and Otto have to lure miles into multiple trap to stop miles from protecting Peter (miles gets beat and knocked out by surprise surprise by Otto and the henchmen who distracted him enough to the point of Otto hopping on miles beats on him to the point where he is knocked unconscious) which puts Peter in a position where he has to be spider-man again to save miles. While is doing that he finds out what Norman and Otto has been up to (all that Norman and Otto have been planning should be explained through a dlc story about 2 hours long which builds up that plan)Mj should be like oracle in the Arkham games (where she finds information through hacking, able to see Peter’s health levels, find clues for Peter, and I think this would make her far more useful than always going out to help Peter) what if connections between Mj and Peter cellular falls off which leaves Peter all alone to find miles. While Peter is doing that Mj is defending herself from undercover henchmen of Otto. Mj try’s to defend herself even to the point where she knocks out a guard with her taser gun but can’t handle all of the henchmen as she gets captured(which is all a cutscene) as Peter goes through enhanced traps(the same thing miles went through to find Otto and Norman but enhanced) as Peter is going through those traps Mj sees miles who has been beaten and knocked out. Mj Gets butched by a gun which knocks her unconscious as well. As Peter is going through the traps he finds Miles and Mj Knocked out. Peter’s spider senses go off as Otto’s henchman almost ambushed him but avoid as he beats every henchman or guard and the room up. Otto tries to catch him off guard but Peter webs into a ventilation system and Otto hunts him down from their as we get a cool predator meets pray sequence as we (the player) are trying to escape the ventilations and elevators without Otto finding us but as soon as we find a way out of that and swings out catches us by the legs and Peter and Otto are falling and fighting and a cutscene sequence which cuts back to the gameplay as we have to avoid Otto from capturing us to as he’s chasing us he’s hits us with every surprise ever (as he throwing debris, bricks and simply coming from every direction trying to get us with his four tentacles which we as the players have to dodge or avoid get taken by the tentacles) this could be where silk comes into help Peter fight Otto and we we can switch between the two like with robin and Batman in that one Arkham Knight mission. Also side notes have us play with silk (side missions that tells us how she got into New York or through a dlc where she’s getting hunted down by someone because she got into the city illegally) that’s really all I could think of right now if someone can add more to the story I would appreciate that.

A small request, but I really hope that Black Cat will have a more sizable role in Insomniac 3. I'm not going to lie; I was disappointed having Black Cat only for one scene with Miles when Peter was with the symbiote at the time in the story. If Cat saw Peter with the symbiote, she could've been a true foil to MJ since Peter would've been more open to Cat's ambiguous ideas of fun since his pragmatic morality would be murky due to the symbiote's influence.
Insomniac plays everything out in the safest humanly way possible.
I agree with the main villain coming sooner but I disagree about it being bad venom came in the “3rd act” I just think the game should’ve been longer in the backend and that they should’ve took out some of the filler in the start of the game to start Peter’s symbiote arc not necessarily sooner per say but without the unnecessary story points like the highschool bike ride
We need some big steaks in this last game.

Story needs to be long enough where the plot is paced well and not feel like everything's thrown at the wall to see what sticks or that everything is progressing so fast that you have to keep up with every little detail One of the things I liked about the first game was it was spaced out well but the story just felt natural as it continued I did not get that same feeling with the sequel I don't mind if we have longer story missions either I was really frustrated with the total number of story missions in the sequel and I found out there was a lot of cut content

What I like to see return in Marvels Spider-Man 3 is the police involved during car speed chases and you pressing the Box button repeatedly and it lasting longer and what I think they should add in the Marvel's Spider-Man 3 is when you do a car speed chase sometimes it will be two Spider-Man stopping a vehicle but sometimes it would be either two vehicles or one vehicle filled with enemies and of course involving the police like in Marvel's Spider-Man 1 and in Spider-Man Miles Morales Marvel's Spider-Man 2 got watered down a lot so yeah I hope they bring all this stuff back but better what I just said because it's kind of weird that Marvel's Spider-Man 2 car speed chases are not better than the last two games so yeah they definitely need to work on that and not rush it and take their sweet time Marvel's Spider-Man 3 can be the greatest Spider-Man game ever made 💯💯💯

What if the prowler comes out of retirement to help Peter and miles fight the green goblin.
I just want Peter to not have the anti-venom suit or just use it as last resort kind of thing so we still have classic spider-man.
Also I would like Peter to be treated with respect and not nerfed to the ground like he was in Spider-Man 2.
I want peter to still be the main spider-man not retired or dead.

I heard there’s 3 dlc in spiderman 2 the Beatles. Extreme Carnige in the spider verse anomaly so maybe there can improve on the story there and then, when Spider-Man three comes, they make it even better

Cook bro. I lowkey feel like silk will be the reason this game flops (coming from a silk fan) I just don’t care for anymore crammed spider people to eat up this games run time, and she will feel forced to be “important” when this game is supposed to be the culmination of all three games and she’s kinda just there and I bet they’ll make her have some interjected impact that takes away from miles and Pete.
And from a gameplay perspective it’s the same concept, I hate playing as too many characters, makes my perspective on the gameplay and story feel disconnected as I’m constantly switching between too many people. And the gameplay itself overall will probably not be as good as it could be because they have to allocate some much resources just to be able to make her playable with her own animations and abilities, dialogue, missions etc
I would much rather have her being like how miles was in sm1, at MOST playble in very short sections (preferably none), but not a main driving point in this game, just a background character that is being slowly built up and then maybe she can get her own game or be a co protagonist in miles game after sm3
All I know is that whoever they hire to write the third game is going to have a hell of a time sweeping up the mess that the 2nd games writers made

Have goblin kill MJ flip the story from what we were used to with Gwen. And have MJ being the one getting got. It would really add to the emotional part of this game. And like you said it could add to his anger with him not having the black suit.
