its kind of funny to me that people are just now resurecting the Macrame we did in the 60s and 70s. I had a shop and made thousands of these things and taught dozens of people to make them, thanks for the memories!

Beautiful work! In Brazil we use to tie a knot in the tip of one of the cords, and then this will be the cord that you always will pass UNDER the support cord, no matter the direction you're tying or how many knots you have already tied. By doing so, you will never make a wrong knot.
I have one of these and when i got it i was stunned at how it looked and thought it would have took hours to make and it looked hard but watching this i realised it isnt Thanks for sharing this. Its amazing :) xx

Explained in simple terms which is what you need as a beginner. Thanks very much for showing how to make the whole bracelet too. Many videos only show how to make part of the bracelet which is so annoying.................

this method of clasping is so much better then what I was doing, an archaic loop and bead clasp thing... thanks!

What's important is placing equal tension on both sides of the cords as you're tying your knots. It takes practice so don't give up.

Wax covered cord, 1 mm thick. She said so at the beginning. It's a cheap material, you can find it very easily in many beautiful colours.
