They reduced him to a joke of a character throughout MoP, WoD and Legion when they killed his LT off in the most idiotic way with zero actual structure or nuance behind it.
he isn't, in Legion he was captured by a dreadlord who then was rping as Shaw trying to force Alliance into war with Horde.
I mean you can google the leader of the CIA thats public knowledge too
But no Shaw is not good at his job, Legion showed that lol
@@CallMeNoa Bold of you to assume CIA is doing their job, unless their job is to spread chaos then i'd have to agree
Like with James Bond, if everyone knows you're a master spy you aren't a master spy
As a Shaman main and someone who really hates the Titans, I find myself wanting to side with the Primalists. lol
You do know your player character wouldnt exist without the titans right? But I guess it's fair, many people hate their ancestors lol
Good! Serve your true gods, like the great elemental-lords (Ragnaros, Al'Akir) did. Stay with the primal power of the ̶v̶o̶i̶d̶ storm, earth and fire against the titanic order.
@@matsberg1568 your player character would not exist without old gods either.
Ras did nothing wrong and was the actual protagonist.
Raszageth: CAN YOU SMELL WHAT I AM COOKING?!
Smells like bad voice acting.
So they go from fighting the ancient and nearly all powerful Jailer (whom Blizzard discribed as Titan++) who literally manipulated nearly every event for thousands of years, to fighting another dragon….
Are they going to rollback max level to weaken Azeroth’s heroes to make it a fair fight?
I think it’s pretty obvious that raz what ever, isn’t the big bad evil dude of the expansion.
She’s more akin to Guldan as the big bad for this stage of the expansion.
Kalec gonna be like "yay we did it" then old wise character #36 comes in and says "Raszageth was merely a pawn"
They brought Kai from kung fu panda 3 into the game
Now in blueberry flavour
1:39... they did not just misspell Neltharion... really? what the hell...
Lei Shen has returned in dragon/boar form!?!
The Thunder Pig! But Seriously if that is Lei shen Reincarnated
@@citrusorange794 no way. these guys here are 2 leagues above lei shen
@@KiiiiDFresH2oo9 lei shen was pretty powerful
@@citrusorange794 ??? These primalists existed way before Lei shen.
Isn't lei Shen a slave/pawn of the titans so why would razsageth be allied with him
Wrathion just keeps getting fucking Five Starred into the floor by ancient entities
I know, it's great xD
As a shaman i kinda want to switch sides
I am swapping to shaman for this xpac for a similar reason
i love how all of wrathions allies are just fed up with his crap lol
Wrathion owned by a rock I mean the primal power of the Earth
😂😂😂😂
Same voice actress as savathun. Phenomenal acting on raszageth
Why does this look like any other expansion? Like this has happend all before? We suddenly get a big cult releasing a big dragon to end the wo... wait a fucking min!?
12 years and bellow🤣wow used to be dark and bloody🤣
Raszegath...
You can really feel the primal, prehistoric, proto-type features of her...
The pinions on her mane, the jagged beak, devolved arms and sprouting horns with no pattern...
From an old stone age or prehistoric period...
0:21 - Nozdormu's face looks like he's in a permanent state of being about to sneeze but the sneeze never comes. The animators did him dirty.
What a goofy looking dragon
Proto Drake
Proto drakes, aka their original form before the titans altered the aspects
Vannila - we will fight an elemental lord of fire.
Burning crusade - we will fight the second in command of the most powerful army in the universe.
Wrath of the lich king - we will fight one of the most powerful creation of the legion who broke free and scarred the entire world.
Cataclysm - we will fight the most powerful dragon alive.
Mists of pandaria - we will fight some titanic construct guy.
Warlords of draenor - we will fight the same guys we fought back in burning crusade.
Legion - we will fight the same guys we fought back in burning crusade.
Battle for azeroth - we will fight the last living old god on the planet.
Shadowlands - we will fight the most powerful and dangerous entity in the explored universe.
Dragonflight - we will another dragon.
Is it or wow's stakes are extremely inconsistent? Shadowlands, Legion and WOTLK were expansions where threat to the world felt real, despite the quality of some of those expansions.
They're purposely being much more grounded in this expansion because they went so far over the top in Shadowlands. You can't just keep going up and up forever.
The last living old God you say? Does that means the other two is already confirmed dead?
Old gods cannot die because they are not alive to begin with. The only old god that was actually destroyed was Y'Shaarj by the titans. N'zoth, C'thun and Yogg-Saron were just temporarily defeated by destroying their physical bodies. And from what was revealed so far they might be back in Dragonflight.
@@TheKobasen dead, but not gone. Old god are similar to demons in that you can't simply kill them. You can destroyed their form, however, their influence will still remain upon the world and they may return one day.
As far as we know, there is no way to permanently kill an old god and you only either scatter them into smaller fragments or banish them temporarily.
@@evgeniiferdiuk9535 so the strongest old god that got ripped by aman'thul is also not dead? And his soul just go back to void realm or something, is that what you say?
So... They go and make a three-part miniseries called Legacies where Nozdormu catches up Emberthal on current events with regard to the dragonflights-including Neltharion's corruption and demise.
In the Dracthyr cutscenes, Emberthal is also present, but acts like Legacies didn't happen and is still under the impression that Neltharion is still alive.
Typical Blizzard clowning around, unable to follow the continuity they themselves made. Or rather, making two different versions. Not confusing at all.
If you see these cutscenes, read my comment, and still think Dragonflight will be a good and satisfying expansion?
As Narc would say: You're high on Copium
I'm pretty sure legacies is supposed to happen after the Beginning. It's after they have split the 2 forces to go to the 2 different sides. So it does make sense
That encounter with Nozdormu from the cinematic is later mentioned
Emberthal talk about the encounter with Nozdormu at the Alliance Dock, what are you talking about
You wasted a lot of time typing so much when it’s obvious she only meets nozrodmu after the events depicted here
How does it feel to be so confidently wrong lol
Needing to watch this cause in game cutscenes don't work... very nice xP
^this
I feel this 😔
Anyone remember back in the days when the Aspects were the physical embodiments/actual aspects of the planet?
Oh wait, that was Warcraft lore, not WoW one.
That was also WoW Lore up to Cata.
@@michaelgreenwood3413 Even in wrath it was already retconned (along with a lot of WC2 to TFT lore) by 99% of mages and most locks and shammys not losing all (in case of mages) to over half their powers/by blizz taking the retard decision to kill instead of calm down malygos as a side prep vehicle-mechanics test boss.
Wrathion stunned with a rock and lives only because the thunderbird wants him to send a message to everyone that they are going to conquer the world... oh come on. I cannot believe that professionals write something like this. Moreover, this makes Wrathion look really weak..
Nozdormu looks like an 18 year old with long facial hair
Yuk Alliance Pukes! They were the reason for every major villain since the dawn of Azeroth!
Raszageth is literaly the last boss of the first raid of this exp and people are comparing her with arthas and illidan, she's the equivalent of Xavius or denathrius...
It's not like the next boss they trot out is going to be any more established than this one. The writers are so sloppy at crafting a narrative that they're not allowed to reveal anything until it's time to send people to the PTR. I think wow's boss villains deserve to be ridiculed if they're gonna be pulled out of the dev's butt at the last second every time. Denathrius is probably the only time they've done a villain character justice in over a decade, but that almost feels like an accident more than anything. The one blizz writer with a brain cell went above his paygrade and fleshed out his character so well that they had to find an ass-backwards way to bring him back from the dead so as not to waste it.
@@pirojfmifhghek566 i think she's cool :)
How on gods earth did anyone think these stiff ass movements were fine? They skimped on basic UI polish and it seems like polish in general.
1:38 What? "Neltharian?" Isn't it supposed to be "Neltharion"? Blizzard plz, have you played your own game?
How is she supposed to remember the spelling for 20000 years?
So what is the relationship between these elemental dragons or whatever, and the elemental lords like ragnoros and al akir?
These dragons werent born this way, they imbued themselves with elemental powers to fight the Aspects.
They shyphoned the elements and became a separate tetrarchy of elemental demigods by unknow means, possibilly Old Gods
The Primalist thing happened way after the titans imprisoned the elemental lords, so unless they can talk to all element related characters, they're probably unassociated
A scalie expansion I see. I think they should have more reptile sounding voices instead of human voices...
I think...we Dracthyr are the next Earth Aspect. As much as Wrathion wants to be what Deathwing was supposed to be...he doesn't understand who Neltharian was. He only knew Deathwing, not Neltharian. It was Neltharian who was the Dragon Aspect of Earth, not Deathwing. Deathwing was the Cataclysm.
But I suppose we'll see.
Thoes little protodrake arms are funny
Who will win?
1. New black aspect BOI Wrathion
2. Fodder rock
So is the black dragon in outland completely forgotten or did he somehow die offscreen??
You think the writers know the lore of Warcraft? I bet you think they play the game too.
I know this that they took this expansion idea from Hearthstone expansion, by changing Galakrons name and making him a female Proto dragon
I'm pretty sure he shows up on the dragon isles. And is a competitor with wrathion for the aspect position.
@@karlmarcs31 you mean sebalian a dragon that got updated model and is a has a reputation you can work towards if you chose to support him over wrathion?
Sabellian? They didn't forget
He came to the dragon isles with the rest of his brood, helped Wrathion reclaim the Obsidian Citadel and now fights with him for the control over black dragonflight
It's a part of the Waking Shores questline
Poor baby Wrathion looked so scared 😢
Ngl, Ras is my fave WoW villain.
LMAO her in-game model is so underwhelming.... Proto Drake reskin that is about the same size as an actual Proto Drake..... F
Thing is too, none of that surface actually exists, so it looks ..dull. The texture is painted on, but its not like there's geometry to the grooves on her maw, or bump mapping to her scales. Its just ..SMOOTH and painted on. Just like the Jailer's armor.
Troll vs elf, flying lizard version.
gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood
what is this cataclysm 2?
Where is the Horde cinematic with the Draktir?
Its been one year since this video.
Every cutscene ends so over-dramatic - This design becomes rather lame after one time.
Nobody:
Description: "Raszageth Blows Wrathion Cinematic. All Cutscenes in ORDER."
I somehow start liking how wrathion in this expansion.
So this is real cinematics
had to watch parts here because my game said fuck you and skipped the portion where raszageth assaults the shrine before you run away
jesus christ grimtotems?
Kurog Grimtotem's name seems like a reference to the Tagalog word "Kulog" which means thunder or am I just imagining things.
Its just me or this is a filler expansion, at least for now, who cares about this random lighting dragon? What about the "what comes next" of the JaiLeRrR
What?
This expansion will rather be one with a moral dilemma
Can the Dracthyr choose elementals vs titans?
Did the horde side get an ingame cinematic too?
Yes, just not included here.
@@mitkoogrozev ty, probably was the same only with horde characters
@@denikehi4579 A bit more welcoming , compared to Alliance.

@@adamsteele23 They better. The Horde has been a source of big main villains long enough.
I miss the time when WoW was full of questions and doubts, when you had to investigate what the hell what's happening, not a straightforward story with so many cinematics as I'm watching a movie.
How is this in order lol
So after we fighting the thunder king now we fighting the thunder dragon?
that and probably a Five headed dragon based on a yugioh card that wrecked the other dragon flights before getting imprisoned

only thing i think they missed a chance on are the in game elemental Lords still alive seems to know nothing of whats going on
Yiant garuga here from monster Hunter?
Oh no
This has got to be one of the most kid friendly looking expansions I have seen, what happened to warcraft. Not sure why you would recycle a protodrake for the big bad either, does not look very intimidating.
Recycle?
They're trying to attract a new audience now that the old one is fading in typical microsoft fashion, and lightning dragons killing shit is a good way to do so.
I can't not see the dracthyr as just furries.

The more I watch the more I get confused. This game got so much history it's impossible for new people to get into it. Also wtf were those graphics and in game animation? there was a shaman questline I believe where we made new elemental lords cause fire and wind were pissing themselves over not having one
