Bloodelves arent really anxious to join the Alliance. They were slaughtered by a human commander b/c he hated elves. They joined the horde. When they tried to rejoin the Alliance they were slaughtered in Dalaran by Jaina b/c she thought they had something to do with Theramore Isle destruction whish they didnt. Most of the Horde wasnt even around when Teldrassil was burned. The Tauren were sent to Silithus on purpose along with anyone other Horde who was a druid or shaman b/c they would not let her burn a world tree. Also Saurfang wasnt present until after it happened and he was pissed about it.
This time I'm a bit disappointed in your lack of knowledge regarding the lore of the blood elves Doron. Firstly [Blood Elves technically don't exist anymore] - wrong, high elves technically don't exist anymore. Of all the high elves surviving the scourge's attack on Quel'Thalas, only ~10% - TEN PERCENT AT MOST - stayed "high elves". The rest of them lead by Kael'thas dubbed itself Blood Elves. Of those 10% high elves - unlike the Blood Elves - most succumbed to the mana hunger after the Sunwell got corrupted, culling their numbers even more. So no sir, a truer statement would be "technically there are no more high elves, only blood elves remaining". Secondly [Historically Blood Elves, aka High Elves (aka Nearly-extinct Elves as said before), had been a part of the Alliance A LOT longer then they had been a part of the Horde] - wrong again. The High Elves, out of convenience, worked together with the "young" humans in culling the forest trolls. After that and Dalaran aside, they mostly kept strictly to themselves and didn't interact with them before the Old Horde turned to burning Quel'Thalas. After THAT, they joined the NEWLY formed Alliance but were the first to leave it again after the second war had been settled. Kael'thas rejoined the Alliance (as the Blood Elves btw) after Arthas had his way with them, just to witness his people getting used as cannon fodder by said "Alliance" and it's commander Garithos - which still counts because the Blood Elves still remember it fondly as the Alliances doing because they let it happen. So the Elves left the Alliance again, joined the Horde roughly ~5 years later and are still part of it since BC so around ~15 years now? Meanwhile the founding of the Alliance to the Elves leaving them spans around 8 years at most. Conclusion: The High/Blood Elves are now longer part of the Horde then they were Alliance. Lastly [The Blood Elves decided to join the Horde sorta out of an accident] - which one specific political situation? You mean the one in which the Blood Elves found the Alliance spying on them through Darnassian and Dwarfen spies? In showing how low their trust in their once-allied "friends" went? Weren't they slaughtered yet again - by Jaina this time - when they contemplated rejoining the Alliance during Pandaria due to Garrosh? Those are not mere nitpickings man. The Blood Elves have justified reasons to not be that close to the Alliance anymore. People not that knowledgeable in the lore so far and trusting your words would get a faulted image through this. That's why I'm disappointed.
@@Nuin. I agree 100%! And you forgot to mention the purging of Dalaran. An ethnical genocide not long after arthas killed 90% of them? Yeah, I’m sure they haven’t forgotten about that. @@efaristi9737 not as stupid. The high elves of the alliance are descendants of highborn who rebelled against the legion. @@AdmiralButtercrust94 It's 10 000 years later and Thalyssra just organised a resistance against the nobility that made a pact with the Legion. How interesting are Nightborne militarily and logistically speaking ? I mean, they're not a kingdom, just a city and they have just got out of a civil war that teared their people apart. I can't imagine they have the numbers and powers to be actually useful in BFA.
We're talking about the same Night Elf racial leader who "appreciates" welcoming the Highborne, who too were responsible for summoning the Legion. Blizzard did this because they wanted the Horde to have their own "Night Elves." While I advocate that they should have given us the freedom to choose to switch sides from the start of WoW, making races such as elves neutral so very late in the game is very half-assed on their part because they've already drawn a fine line and made a very Red vs. Blue mentality, thereby deciding that there was no going back.
One small thing, the blood elves will probably always be a thing. The difference is not really the eye color. Sin'dorei is a chosen name in honor of their fallen kin during the Fall of Quel'thalas at the hands of Arthas and The Scourge.
@@Commander_Pandashanthe elves that still claim “quel’dorei” didn’t want to switch to “sin”Dorei” because they still think think they are a noble birth. To Be honest though. They can still Have dealings with both horde and alliance but try not to interfere with their wars. About time the shal’dorei came about they would’ve joined the elven faction.
Maybe if they become neutral, Who join the alliance will be High elf, and who stay in horde will be considered Blood Elf, like the pandaren faction distinction

The Elves being neutral with each other is the only acceptable position. Kaldorei would never make up with the entire horde after BoT. Not without the Horde making some huge State apology at any rate.
Why people apply different standards to the fictional worlds just because they are fictional races? People IRL forgive each other all the time, and by people I meant COUNTRIES/KINGDOMS etc. Germany & Japan were suddenly cool with the US after WW2 People /=/ political leaders. Tyrande's problems with Sylvanas cannot apply to the entirety of Horde's population. That simply doesn't make sense IRL, but people often treat fictional races as homogenous entities.

They have no reason to change their name back. The whole point of it is to remember their fallen kin and the loss they suffered from the scourge. Just like the highbornes changed their name to Quel'dorei back after separating themselves from Night Elves.
I feel like there’s almost certainly going to be a few quests where Alliance players have to head into Silvermoon, but the absolute limit of what I’d be okay with for Neutral Silvermoon is part of the ruined western half being reclaimed and used as a staging ground. The bulk of the city should be a Horde city, and I’d prefer the Exodar to finally get fixed up, and moved over to that general area for use as the Alliance hub.
Honestly? I RP as a Night elf and I don't love humans at all. And I don't hate taurens at all either. Wish each race was its own faction, honestly, with night elves being independant of the alliance (just like WC3)
*They should have a “neutral” third option in the character creation screen.* *There are currently allies of all races in the game, so it wouldn’t go against the current storyline.* *It could be an alternative to switching between PVP and PVE* *”Neutral” parties could travel to any faction territory without being aggroed, but could never flag for PvP (aside from battlegrounds or arenas).* *Plenty of players don’t give two squirts about PvP anyway*
I really hope Silvermoon gets a whole Suramar style makeover - easily my #1 favourite city throughout the entire game. @@spindoggytheexplorer2915I hear two-faction systems are generally _more_ balanced than two faction ones; the question with that is how would they even do that, especially with the way the legacy starting zones for Demon Hunter, Pandaren, Dracthyr, and Death Knights work. They’d also have a lot of problems getting people to _play_ the new faction, and would have to add a dozen new three-way battlegrounds, another dozen variants of existing two-faction battlegrounds, and make adjustments to a *lot* of dungeons and raids that paid attention to the raid party’s faction. A third faction could theoretically _improve_ faction balance, but it’d be an absolute nightmare to implement.

It makes sense for some group's of races to be considered neutral(mercenaries) that get to choose reputation with factions, just like the lore. Set of Neutral/Faction Race's such as: Panda, Goblins, Dracthyr, etc... and it will be cool if they have theyre own starting zones that explains their faction lore with questlines that leads them to choose Alliance or Horde(or maybe even choose to remain neutral which leads them to just be friendly to neutral cities. For PvP theyll be the fillers for both Alliance and Horde to help the lack of players on either side).
Considering their age and lifespan, Teldrassil was burnt maybe a week ago - a DAY ago from their perspective, why would they allow the those responsible for it (even if the soldiers merely following orders) into their new city? I get Tyrande's whole arc in Dragonflight/Shadowlands was about trying to find renewal for the night elves, but as much as the faction conflict needs to die, the War of Thorns still a very VERY fresh wound. I don't see this happening easily, is all I'm saying. I would like to see NPCs express discontent or grudges over it but quietly put it aside because they can ill afford another war.
it flat out shouldn't happen it wouldn't make sense for any night elf to be cool with the horde, but they gonna force it through anyways because the writers at blizzard are hacks and have never known how to write a story or characters.
@@Stone_Stronghold Agreed. I've played on and off since the beta, stopped playing retail about midway through Shadowlands 9.0 and WoW altogether about a month after. The worst part is, I actually want to go back and play my Demon Hunter! Not for progression, just to chill in the world, do my own thing and remember all the fun I had in Legion or Cata (because I enjoyed Cata). But every time I think about coming back I remember how Blizzard have thoroughly butchered these characters I used to love. Then his crown becomes a terrible burden that Bolvar had to sacrifice himself to keep contained. I LOVED that story and its conclusion. Then Shadowlands ruined it, claiming Oh no, it was actually the Natherizm who made him - despite Kel'Jaeden specifically describing him as 'MY CREATION the Lich King' . And actually, the Natherizm were in league with the Jailer (*sarcasm* who was totally there the whole time, not making this up! We pinkie promise!). And the Lich King was actually the Jailer's weapon, despite the fact EVERYTHING beforehand stated the Lich King was a weapon of the Legion gone rogue. And now the Night Elves, who have recently suffered an attempted genocide and the burning of Teldrassil (still occupied by a vast majority of their people when it went up) by the Horde, are expected to share their new city with the very faction that instigated that genocide? Sure, Sylvanas was deposed by that's no excuse! Someone needs to fire the writers at Blizzard. They really do. Its a super duper pipe dream, and I know classic is up to Wrath (possibly Cata soon?) again, but I wish they would completely decanonise a huge swathe of retail and start over with blank canvas on Classic. Sorry. This got ranty. I'm just... hung up because Warcraft was so great, and that's not rose tinted goggles speaking. Okay, I’m mostly in favor of the Alliance and Horde not really liking each other that much, but being able to get reputation with some of the other faction’s races sounds *really* interesting, especially if it lowers the reputation of the counterpart from your faction.
THIS. This is what I have in mind. A lot of people complain about "identities" but I support RACIAL identities more than faction's Factions can still exist but some races actually don't make sense to stay in the their factions anyway

I have 2 theories that I think will be of internet to you. First, I think that the wow universe is not mate of 6 cosmic forces but of 3 sets of bonded pairs (think ionic bonding from science) with a negative and positive polarity. I think flip side of the same coin is a bad analogy because both sides of a coin are the same thing; but think of it like a black hole and white hole from science or a worm hole or ever a figure 8 or infinity symbol with each side being distinct and separate but inextricably linked. This allows entities to move from one to the other. This give you life and death, order and disorder, and light and void. Entities are able to move between the two that are linked. So sargarus became a “titan” of disorder. The connection between the shadowlands and life. And the changing of Naaru or the void crystal. Changes always happen along these bonded pair lines. Second. This is what we will see over this expansion. The blood of the old gods is void incarnate having mixed with life and decay giving it the solidity needed to exist in the universe. Xalatath as the harbinger is trying to bring void into the physical world. We will go to nerubia to try and stop her and will learn about the blood and it’s power but will be too late to stop her. But we will stop her from getting more from that location. What we won’t know is that the goblins have been working with her and harvesting sarintie and other forms of old god blood - they have mastered this as they have mastered azerite retrieval. We will go to the goblin city to stop them but again we will be too late. This is when BAM. We find out that Azeroth isn’t even her short term plan, that she was gathering this blood the change the tides of the void battle on k’aresh. We will go there to stop her and side with the elementals, but it will be to late and the battle between arcane order and void shadow will be lost… and k’aresh world souls will be born a void “Titan” which will open the gates for the void at Azeroth. I think the last boss of the ethereal raid will be k’aresh and we will loose and get ported out of there as the world soul is born and made manifest. Midnight will be us fighting this void Titan and the void incursion losing until the titans show up. Last, I think that the shadowlands line where they are talking about the banished one, which at the time seemed like the jailer was actually talking about either xal or her void lord. This is what the jailer was trying to stop. Thoughts?
I hope all Races become Neutral & just have Cities they hang out in! We can still have Horde & Alliance faction gear but no more fighting each other! There is no point to it anymore! I'd love to have Orcs touring Stormwind, Humans touring Orgrimaar, & such!
you can make nightborne with yellow eyes aka who feed off the sunwell or blood/high elf that have purple eyes who feed off the nightwell, you could also have blue for arcane or still fel especially if you are a warlock so basically your diet gives you your eye color lol.
It actauly never really made sense that the Night Elfs were part of the Alliance. I would be shocked if they did this, just imagine if warhammer 40k just decided that everyone was now at peace. It completely removes the entire identify of the game and would kill the game for a huge majority of the player base, really miss the vibe warcraft 3 had given this game. If anything they need to make the storylines for certain factions significantly darker, especially on the alliance side, that faction needs some extremely evil characters asap in wow. Or just go ahead and just completely remove the alliance/horde completely and add in XYZ evil races, but at that point the game just turns into Destiny and that game is nooooottt doing good.

@@efaristi9737I kind of agree, but the factions not really liking each other, yet still being willing to cooperate if something threatens them both, creates a pretty interesting dynamic. I honestly think it’s more interesting that factions that strongly dislike each other end up being mostly at peace most of the time, and making them more friendly with each other as a whole (individual characters from each faction being on good terms with each other doesn’t count for this) throws that out the window.
TBH I'm not sure how Warcraft 3 plays into what yo'ure saying. WC3 is all about reconciliation and working together (and when it isn't it's about the perils of being blinded by vengeance and old hatreds), to the point that when WoW initially came out I found the Alliance/Horde thing pretty arbitrary. While it was strong in Warcraft 1 and 2, I think having the Alliance/Horde concept was always kind of weak in WoW itself due to WC3 and the storytelling has borne this out. Even the PvP stuff has always been kind... strained? Like Warsong Gulch is a pretty weak border dispute over... lumber mills in Ashenvale? I guess? The more interesting stories of conflict in WoW have almost always been intra-faction or due to other stuff. Things like the Death Knights getting spit on and starting with lower faction rep when joining the Horde/Alliance after their intro quests. The problem is most of the interesting things they could do are not easy within the design of the game. Like after the Burning of Teldrassil (hell, after Wrathgate even if it was an internal coup by Varimathras) it would have been entirely reasonable to have a Horde civil war with the Forsaken being removed from the faction *entirely*, causing a large political shakeup, but the design of the game limits this. The logistics of executing such a concept require a large-scale redesign for everything from world PVP balance to quest design on the order of what Cataclysm did. Making everything one faction, in my opinion, actually long-term increases the scope for conflict, because it allows for players to witness more intra-faction strife between the various powers, without having this very arbitrary gameplay barrier making sure that the exact same races are always ultimately diametrically opposed regardless of what actually happens. It is still a "Cataclysm-scale change" like moving one race to another faction, but ultimately it allows them to tell more nuanced stories about the relationships and strife between various factions that you can't do when you're railroading exactly half of the factions to constantly be nominally at war with each other with no allowance for a change of political affiliation of one or more factions. It allows for one zone to have the local Gnomes and Humans at each others throats for some weird local political reason, while in another Orcs vs Humans turns out to be a hatred that dies hard even if *most* Orcs and Humans get along.
I hope we get more factions in general and something like Guild Wars has with more guild identity, bases and wars. More than 2 factions is workable and similar to TESO sounds ok, no?
Blood Elves made no sense in the Horde and not because they were pretty in a monster faction. It was 100% a gameplay decision. The same goes for Night Elves in the Alliance. The Alliance did NOTHING for them. But yes, lets have them join a faction based on another continent and take orders from humans who have lived less than a fraction as long as them. Blizzard has made terrible writing decisions since Vanilla. Not nearly as bad as now though.

You say you love the Sin’dorei but you seem to have forgotten about the genocide by the hands of the proudmoore bi***. The Horde is where the Blood Elves belong, I don’t care about aesthetic differences, the alliance has never been healthy to the Sin’dorei.
@@VictorBackx True but Garithos was just a pompous freak that had control after the Alliance of Lordaeron was at it's weakest. We dont know exactly how high was he in the hierarchy. Dont forget Varian was negotiating with the Sin'dorei right before Jaina went crazy in Dalaran. None of the High Elves seemed to have a problem that their own people were murdered by the Alliance - of which they are part of. Dont even get me started on the idea of separating High and Blood Elves... such a lost potential, hope fore the best in Midnight. Garosh did the same to the Darkspear trolls. They are still in the horde. And even so... the Horde and the Amani did so much more damage to the Quel dorei during the second war. And I am sorry but just the fact that they did this because the horde didn't have a "beautiful" race, cmon, sacrifice something else. They never felt right in the horde. But it's just my opinion.
I don't care what direction Blizzard wants to take the game, I will NEVER be happy with a Night Elf city being neutral. Its B.S. and I hate it. After all they have done to the Kaldorei, this neutrality in their city feels like a giant slap across the face.
I absolutely gate the night elves, but I wholeheartedly agree. I understand they want to end the faction conflict, but how are we supposed to forgive some of the actions of the opposite faction? Sylvanas is gone, but I don’t see the nelves being that forgiving. Also, has everyone forgotten about the purging of Dalaran? That was outright genocide against a race that bad already lost 90% of their population to another genocide! And the unlawful killing of King Rastakhan? The Proudmoore bi*** has as much blood in her hands as Sylvanas did, and now we are supposed to cheer for her just because she wants peace now? Hypocrisy is what I call that
A green orc turn brown doesn't make him a draenor orc. A sin'dorei that overcame their fel addiction and got yellow eyes or their original eyes back doesnt make them a "quel'dorei" aka highelf. But if the elves are going to unite, after sometime they will develope another race, that isnt any of the kaldorei 's "children of the stars" that includes all elves.
Night Elves should form their own faction. The Horde burned and defiled their home to such a massive extent. I just can't wrap my head around the Night Elves even bothering to look at the Blood Elves and Nightborne with nothing but taking part in the actions of the war. Give those who refuse to go with the 'power of friendship' an option in lore to keep fighting, even if they are a damn minority. Also, ew, calling the Elves 'Tribes' is insulting. They are kingdoms in the variation of the term. Last thing: High Elves were not "alliance" for thousands of years. They were reluctant to join the Alliance of Lordaeron(The original alliance) and only joined when invaded.
The high elves have been allied with the humans multiple times what you're referring to is when they finally joined the military of the alliance but they have had good relationships with all the human kingdoms even times where they've worked with them since the troll wars which is 1000s of years ago
@@Rianov_Vigil the high elves did almost go extinct because of the Alliance. Garithos wanted them gone and literally drove then to the Horde with being a racist.
@@evage99 same thing with Manari skin for Draenei. Yeah right because they forgot that the red Eredar are literally race traitors that wanted them all dead and now they just accept them. Meanwhile Horde still has no forest troll skin although the Revantusk tribe is part of the Horde since vanilla.
I think a united Azeroth is coming, thrall meeting with anduin in the cinematic sold me. We listened to the jailer if we were divided we can’t survive what is coming! United Azeroth will feel really fresh
The horde alliance conflict has run its course it does nothing to further the story anymore and battlegrounds can be changed to a competition of the best warriors world pvp becomes the same competition between gladiators and I’d like to see an item i would call marks of the gladiator for world pvp that reward mounts and. Cosmetics or PvP gear
Or more like show them selves I think they’ve always been here! But tbh they may not be the true evil incarnate we think, the void always wants to bend to disorder in disorder is free will maybe xalatath dislikes the old gods because they went rogue? Or were they simply trying to awaken Azeroth and the titans desperately try to keep her asleep? What if she is not the last titan but Aman’Thul is, in his mad quest for supreme order he must keep Azeroth asleep because she is more powerful than him and is a threat to his order through control!
Faction limitations are regrettable analog and should be abolished, imho. In Everquest, there was Good, Evil, Neutral, and the Iksars (who hated/by all non-Iksars), and faction impacted game immensely with lore, NPCs, and PvP, though did not impede PVE nor trade/economy at all, and it was excellent.
Wild, I had been playing warcraft steady since vanilla, I stopped in BFA, so its wild to me that theyre finally bringing changes to the game to where its actually viable to play, and makes you want ot keep coming back
If the Night Elves used to be trolls, will that mean that trolls will be added as a neutral race as well? I kinda hope so, it would be nice to play a race like the trolls on a different side for a change.
the blood elves will never welcome the void elves to the horde. Their mere presence is enough to sabotage the blood elves source of life and magic. The remaining high elves are mostly alliance as well. I'm not really sure what he's trying to do here.
it would be like letting someone accidentally drop a black hole next to the sun. whether or not they meant to do it has no matter: the sun is gone and so is life.
You are suggesting that the night elves forgive the Horde for burning their tree and slaughtered their tribe, and welcome them to their new home as friends? Such a lame joke!
He’s also saying the Blood Elves should forgive the genocide caused by jaina. The purging of Dalaran happened not long ago to the lifespan of an elf, they won’t be forgiving her any time soon. Sylvanas is paying for her crimes, where is the proudmoore bi***’s punishment?
@@VictorBackx No dude Nor Sylvanas nor Jaina is paying for their crimes. Sylvanas got a community service of all things and was treated like she's some kinda hero and i guess all the BE just forgot about the person who committed a genocide on their people but they somehow remembered to forgive her 10/10 storytelling
I’m interested in *how* they’d do that. Blood Elves are basically the same thing lorewise, so they’d have to give High Elves something to differentiate themselves. Note that I’m not against this happening; I thought they should’ve done this back in BfA, and I’d probably roll a High Elf for a Survival or Beast Mastery Hunter.
@@BlueEyesWhiteViera I meant in terms of racial traits. There probably should be some High Elf exclusive customization options, but the bigger problem is how to give them distinct racial traits.

Heck, it was more plausible for the Night Elves to keep hounding on Horde forces despite the Peace Agreement between the Alliance and Horde, as besides Teldrassil, they've already been attacking Ashenvale, the Blood Elves, still remembering Garithos telling them to die, the Humans not forgetting the First, Second, and Fourth wars that had the Horde attack their homes, the Dwarves not forgetting the second war, the sacking of Taurajo that some Tauren seem to be unable to move on, the Darkspear Trolls having Millennia long hatred to the Night Elves, and centuries long hatred for Stormwind, the Draenei being reduced to a fragment of their civilization by the Orcs, the Zandalari having their King killed, and City attacked, their pride wouldn't allow it. The Goblins will fan anything that would lead to their personal profit, the Gnomes... forget about them, nobody likes them. People just don't magically forget things just because their leaders said 'we good now', in WoW we see a lot of splinter groups either corrupted by the Void, Fel, or the Scourge, do you really think a faction conflict would end? Hate leads to more hate, it's a never ending cycle, unlike us on Earth, the forces in WoW don't have a Nato, or CSTO to force upon a world order that more or less have the same basic principles of morality.
I was thinking around the same line as you. It looks like blizzard might have a horde and alliance but also an elven faction that is neutral and you get to choose your faction on creation
Okay maybe what's going on That's the horde and the alliance become friends. And then maybe the division is gonna be light against dark instead of faction against faction
And High Elves are still technically Night elves since they were originally Highbornes that chose to be exiled after Night Elves banned Arcane magic post Sundering.
I really hope this isn't the case. Scrubbing all of the faction stuff out of the game is stupid. Keep the factions, continue their stories and continue to let us play together.
I just don't understand why this thing is needed at all. Couldn't we just the world tree on Hyjal? It feels like Blizzard are trying to hard to use only new lands that the story falls apart and fails to make any sense.
As someone who mains a Void Elf, they are not what people were asking for. The High Elf customization options were a result of Blizzard trying to cover their asses after everyone who wanted playable Alliance High Elves got irritated about the situation.
I like the faction war. If they made an expansion like game of thrones where there are more heritage quests having the individual factions making moves in the alliance and horde. I miss the war in Warcraft
I miss the conflict too! I wish BfA had been more focused on the conflict and given more story time to the different races end how they perceive the conflict. The whole azshara and N’zoth thing should have been its own expansion
I hope not. I think cross faction play is good. But i like that horde and alliance haveing different races. It make it unique, and gives a feel that u are part of this big group. Now it is so peace and love. And its ok but i like the conflicts between the horde and the alliance. But thats my opinion. Only the future will tell.
I'd love it if they realize their greater affiliation is Elf. Then when we chose Elves, the options will ask us Tribe first. Blood Elf High Elf Void Elf Naja Elf (Nagas partially cleansed of Void corruption) Night Elf Night born
The purging of Dalaran is enough reason for the Blood Elves to never wanna join the Alliance. Sylvanas is paying for her crimes, where is the proudmoore bi***’s punishment? She wants peace? I want her head on display atop the Dazar’alor pyramid
It’s a shame that it’s so diluted now. I always felt that the faction conflict was the greatest niche of wow. Other mmos have factions, but no one does it like wow does.
0:18 Honestly, that make no sense that the Alliance would accept the Void Elves but the Blood Elves wouldn't. The BE rejected the VE because they fear the corruption of the Void Lords but the Alliance, whose main religion is the Light, the nemesis of the Void, wouldn't have any problem with it ? 2:46 A Horde and Alliance peacefully coexisting or replaced by others factions would be interesting but doesn't it risk to kill the appeal of the game ? Isn't the conflict between the Horde and the Alliance, as vain as it is, the central core of Warcraft ? I'm not against the game reinventing itself but it might not be to the taste of everyone. It might work but then what's going to be the villain ? The ennemy ? 9:51 Also, didn't the Blood Elves tried to negociate their return in the Alliance before Garrosh bombed Theramore ? So like, the Blood Elves already want to leave the Horde.
They did, but then jaina went crazy and did a while genocide agains them, I’m sure they haven’t forgotten about that… an ethnic cleansing not long after they lost 90% of their population to arthas? Yeah, they havo no love for the alliance
To the last point... Wanted. And mostly because Garrosh was the orc supremacist treating non orcs as trash. (Well except goblins due to them building his war machines). After the Purge and Ousting of Garrosh the bonds between Horde and Blood Elves only grew stronger. They're pretty considering themselves a strong part of it. The last time it was ever mentioned was during the Nightborne ally race unlock quest where Lor'themar effectively cuts off Alleria when she brings up that Alliance would welcome them back.
You got it backwards, the high elves arent a thing anymore because they changed their name to Sindorei, blood elves, after they were nearly exterminated by members of the alliance twice. Highborne are the first elf race, every other elf race are a subrace of them including night elves, and all elves did originally come from trolls. The blood elves will never rejoin the alliance, that's like expecting israel to return to germany.
@@IVPixel He is correct, Highbourne (upper kaldorei) were the first elves, which split into subfactions depending on other energy sources. After Azshara sacrificed the well of eternity the Highelves used the sunwell and the nightborne used the nightwell which transformed them into subraces of the highborne elves. The Nightelves didn't change because they were never addicted to arcane magic.
Yes but in fact all elvish factions are affiliated to night elves (if whisperwind wasn't that narrow minded, all elves (except nagas) would be under the nigh elves). And between talyssra and lorthemar it wasn't a political marriage so it does not bound more their cities.

Love your videos btw, please keep up the good work! 😄
Sin'dorei is a chosen name in honor of their fallen kin during the Fall of Quel'thalas at the hands of Arthas and The Scourge.

it flat out shouldn't happen it wouldn't make sense for any night elf to be cool with the horde, but they gonna force it through anyways because the writers at blizzard are hacks and have never known how to write a story or characters.
Sylvanas, Tyrande, Uther, Kael'Thas, Malfurion, Jaina - Good lord, AZSHARA AND Nazjatar! Azshara deserved her own EXPANSION, she and her highborne-turn-naga are responsible for the Sundering and War of the Ancients!
How long does Blizzard intend to keep on bastardising their own lore?
Look at the Lich King! Iconic villain! Neh'zul the orc shaman transformed into a Lich by Kel'Jaeden to harbour the Legion's invasion, later merging with Arthas after turning traitor and rebelling.
The lore was a fantastic playground so many years ago and could've gone in so many different directions, but its been squandered over and over.
The Blood Elves also have quite the beef with the alliance, or has everyone forgotten about the purging of Dalaran? All elves have looong memories

@@Aurora-313 By the perspective of Night Elves Teldrassil was also barely an infant as it was planted after the destruction of the previous world tree in the battle of Hyjal

humans should be saying the same about the night elves tbh
especially after they had established peace with the horde in warcraft 3
And then, once joined together, the elves to rebuild the empire!
@Doronsmovies Since when are High elves an Alliance race? The Blood elves ARE high elves (as confirmed by the devs). They have the same city, same race, same Leadership, same army, same people, same sunwell, same land and the same blue eyes now. They are not an Alliance race, Blood Elves are High Elves who changed their names to honor the fallen dead. Blood Elf heritage quest line shows Alleria visiting the Sunwell almost corrupting it with the void and being banished from visiting it anymore by the Blood Elves who are still in control of it. High Elves allied with alliance, until you know the Alliance imprisoned their King for no reason, and then a corrupted Alliance prince committed genocide on their population, but that's besides the point right?
factions should be turned into rep, so if you want to become friendly with orcs you need to do quests in neutral area. I remember when you could declare war on a faction and become hostile and lower your rep
Okay, I’m mostly in favor of the Alliance and Horde not really liking each other that much, but being able to get reputation with some of the other faction’s races sounds *really* interesting, especially if it lowers the reputation of the counterpart from your faction.
THIS. This is what I have in mind. A lot of people complain about "identities" but I support RACIAL identities more than faction's
Factions can still exist but some races actually don't make sense to stay in the their factions anyway
I’m pretty into this idea, it could open the door for a lot of interesting RP situations and also be a good compromise for people angry about phasing out of Horde/Alliance constantly being at war.
@@AzureGreatheart And there was something like this in the original Everquest, iirc (haven't played in 10-15 years)

I like it, it be pretty cool to get into a dungeon or raid with the opposite faction.
I play on a private server (Warmane) and being able to play with horde on older dungeons is dope AF. Can't trade with them, which sometimes sucks if the tank is shittily geared, but that's generally fine.
the whole elf sitution is twisted and meshed and mix matched so hard, that neutral would be fine.
I wonder if the new/revamped Quel'Thalas will keep its current aesthetic of golden trees introduced in TBC, or if it will return to its original aesthetic, where its trees were green and more similar to the other forests of Lordaeron.
Imo if every similar races became their own faction, it will be sick. Like humans worgen and kultiran 1 race 1 faction. The elves 1 faction, orcs 1 faction but for vulpera they could join the goblins since they both greedy, Dwarves 1 faction and the forsaken is just an undead of every race. Like undead orc or an undead troll. And full on war mode where blood is shed everywhere for every races. For BG, its just gonna be joining the red or blue team. Like it's a open arena for non-participant to buy a ticket and enjoy the show
Like I will say this if your a horde player and you go to the new night elf city you get a debuff called eye's of the sentinels they are more allowed in more as thanks for fight Fyrakk and nothing more so if horde take a misstep in that city she is not scared to purge the horde from the city like what Janie did to the sunreavers in mist
And that’s yet another reason for Blood Elves to not join the alliance. They f*** up the belves every time, while the Horde has always been kind and welcoming

Having it on the dragon isles will make it obsolete like every expansion city when the next expansion hits...
Yes!
Let's begin the elfwars!
Pretty sure the Nightwell is slowly dying out.
@@AzureGreatheart you are right but I am sure their is still some chip crumbs at the bottom of it for little while lol
It actauly never really made sense that the Night Elfs were part of the Alliance. At the end of Warcraft 3 they were friends with both Alliance and the horde and Malfurion and Tyrande had a positive relationship with Kael'thas and the blood elves. So im all for The Elfs coming together and making their own Faction tbh
NE and the alliance had common interest at least partly in response to the Horde's continued presence in Ashenvale. what doesnt make sense is the new path after the burning of teldrassil it should ripp the entire NE society & alliance apart
@@Xamufam Yeah, but I feel like its a stupid justification Blizzard made tbh. After their victory at Mount Hijal the Orcs and Night Elfs should of had at least a trading relationship. And if they really needed resources Mulgore is right their to farm.
I don’t think elves will be going neutral but I could see the new silver moon to allow alliance players like how the new night elf city lets hoard in
I would be shocked if they did this, just imagine if warhammer 40k just decided that everyone was now at peace.
WoW and Warhammer don't have the same tone. There is place for compromise, reason and peace in Warcraft. There is none in Warhammer. Warcraft is not a grimdark universe. They can work differently.
Really ? I thought Destiny 2 was doing good.
@@efaristi9737 you are correct they do have a different tone, but they are very similar in nature. I'm not saying blizz should turn warcraft into warhammer 40k but what i am saying is that you have to have actual controversial tragic events and meaningful conflict to have that level of compromise, but compromise can not be the "end game" when there is no war.
@@archonwut1624 that's why it would have been useful to kept the Burning Legion around. I guess the Void Lords will have to play the role of third antagonistic party.
No fucking way will I ever become apart of the alliance, my blood elf is a DK my allegiance lies with Ebon blade
Live expectation there's nothing to do with experience, human mature the same as the night elf, they only they take less time, And humans learn faster than a average elf
the only ones that shouldn't be neutral are the nightborne, and night elves. blood elves, highborne, and high elves can be neutral though

After the purging of Dalaran in mists and the human treachery in warcraft 3? As if. The Blood Elves have as much hatred for the alliance as the Night Elves have for the Horde. The alliance has f***ed them up every chance they got

I really hope this isn't the case. Scrubbing all of the faction stuff out of the game is stupid. Keep the factions, continue their stories and continue to let us play together.

Buy classic.
@@efaristi9737🤡
I miss the conflict too! I wish BfA had been more focused on the conflict and given more story time to the different races end how they perceive the conflict. The whole azshara and N’zoth thing should have been its own expansion
next expansion is about elves and legolas ,,type of people''
Blood Elf
High Elf
Void Elf
Naja Elf (Nagas partially cleansed of Void corruption)
Night Elf
Night born
I could see blood elves being neutral that's it
or alliance.
@@patrikzotaj4528 after everything that happened why would a blood elf even consider joining the alliance ???
The purging of Dalaran is enough reason for the Blood Elves to never wanna join the Alliance. Sylvanas is paying for her crimes, where is the proudmoore bi***’s punishment? She wants peace? I want her head on display atop the Dazar’alor pyramid
Maybe during midnight there will be no more horde and alliance but light and void factions?
Nah. Boring
It’s a shame that it’s so diluted now. I always felt that the faction conflict was the greatest niche of wow. Other mmos have factions, but no one does it like wow does.
This is so much better for PVP and i can’t wait for all races to be available to both factions, and if it makes lore andys mad its even better
The burning Nightelfs in Teldrassil don't like this
Yes give us Naga❤❤❤, personally for me it doesn't matter if all elf tribes are neutral. I will still play my bloodelf and hope for a new Naga twink 😅
Nice too see somebody who has no fucking idea about anything.
What? How are the NIghtborne more affiliated with the Night Elves? Their leader literally married Lorthemar.
Yes but in fact all elvish factions are affiliated to night elves (if whisperwind wasn't that narrow minded, all elves (except nagas) would be under the nigh elves).
And between talyssra and lorthemar it wasn't a political marriage so it does not bound more their cities.
I wish it would, it’d be cool if there was a big ass portal that connects the two cities, like the dark portal but less evil
Trolls are the ancestors of NE, so are they welcome to the party?
Yep i never liked the fact, that night elves joined the alliance
what happens if all elves will join the alliance together.
like a race reunion.
What would happen if they add a new fiction
