- 40% alcohol. Introduced in . Produced, in France, by Martell (Pernod-Ricard).
"Among the great cognac houses, Martell double distills exclusively clear wines - from which all sediments have been removed - in order to preserve the authentic fruity aromas of the grapes, and reveal an extreme finesse, that are hallmarks of the Martell style. Taking this approach further, each bottle of Martell VS Single Distillery is blended from eaux-de-vie derived from a single distillation source. In this supremely smooth blend, the luscious fruity aromas associated with Martell are truly taken to new heights."

Great review. Very detailed.
Thanks, and I appreciate you watching, T Nitty!

I bet you will enjoy this brandy.
Well you probably it by now. But I think the stuff taste better than Hennessey vs
Try the Martell Blue Swift. Good stuff. Its their VSOP finished in ex-bourbon barrels and its actually cheaper than the VSOP here.
Yes, I was reading about it. I bet I would like it. Thanks for watching, Michael Plaster. I appreciate it!
Hi Ronanld, another great review. I really like the Martell VS Single Distillery, that replaced the VS you reviewed here. I am sipping it as i am watching your video. Here are my impressions of this lovely drum:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Martell VS Single Distillery is a new offering, released in 2017. A delicate, fruity and contemporary style of cognac.
Nose: pears, apples and limes. Coco and vanilla on the background. Some caramel and rose petals. A little alcohol, but not too much for VS.
Palate: the initial alcohol flavor is quickly taken over by dried fruit, prunes, cinnamon. Pleasant nuttiness. The mouthfeel is a little thin, Martell doesn’t distill on the lees. Not overly sweet. Martell is known for a drier style of cognacs, with minimal use of caramel and sugar. It is evident that this cognac was aged exclusively aged in Tronçais oak. The oak flavors are delicate and, in the background, rather than in your face, without any tannin bitterness.
Finish: short. Citrus peel and spices. Light oak.
Overall: meant for mixing, but suitable to sip in a snifter. Easy to drink drum, that will not offend. A surprisingly quaffable drum, for a VS offering. I have several VSOP and XO cognacs open, and I found myself craving for this little VS drum. Cheers!
Thanks, Christian Ivanov. I appreciate you watching. Cheers, back to you!
