    A true Ducati fan knows the true mod is a dry clutch not a clear clutch cover.😂

      On SP2 Version😊

      Dry clutch is very classic, just not as practical for street riding.

      Agreed, that clear crap looks really tacky.

      @@Dr.MichaelsMotorcycles : Simply keep a stock of plates, then switch it out as needed. I installed a K-Bike dry clutch on my Hypermotard 950 SP and it works fine.

    Got mine today! Hopefully I can try it tomorrow. Installed and ready, had the same problem as you on the first try, the clutch was just stuck. Installed it again and got the teeth to align and now when using the lever it moves and feels right. Hopefully it works. Waiting for my torque wrench. 3nm is crazy low...

      Yes, 3 Nm is very low, basically hand tight. But I decided to use the torque wrench to make sure everything was done properly. Glad the video was helpful! How are you liking the look?

    How are you liking the Street fighter V4? What riding mode do you use the most?

    • @Dr.MichaelsMotorcycles
      @Dr.MichaelsMotorcycles  2 месяца назад +1

      I am liking it a lot still. It's a lot of fun every time I take it out. I am using Road mode the most but have been playing around in Sport mode the last few trips. Sport mode unlocks the bike a lot - it's scary.
      I'm not sure I would buy this as my only motorcycle though. I'll be doing a full review soon, but in general I don't think this would make a good daily ride/commuter bike.

      @@Dr.MichaelsMotorcycles It's a great bike that V4, best naked hands down. I haven't ridden in a few years I want to get back . I'm on fence between the V4, new monster, older monster 1200 and the V2. I'm thinking the V2 strikes a good balance. What are you thoughts?

    Please do carbon wings! It is a must on this bike

      @Dr.MichaelsMotorcycles i understand! I have the 937 and i have been thinking everyday about upgrading to either a panigale or stv4s. I feel i need the extra power even though i love love the monster! How is the heat on this bike?

  • @hainhatphung1371
    @hainhatphung1371 2 месяца назад +2

    If your next mods are anything else, skip the wings. Their aerodynamic flows only make do if you are on a track dragging straight. You gain none of that on the street or canyon ride, so why bother? Plus MSRP is more than our left nuts.
    I still prefer sliders to protect your fairing and that clear clutch cover. Rizoma makes good stuff, though I have anxiety should it take an impact. Good polycarbonate can shatter as a safety feature to reduce shards, but why would you want that if oil is in there?
    Your money to burn, I guess. I abuse my dumbass for years on an XR and FZ6 and aesthetics mean little to me.

    • @Dr.MichaelsMotorcycles
      @Dr.MichaelsMotorcycles  2 месяца назад +1

      Aesthetics don't mean much to me on some bikes. I didn't do anything to my BMW G310R and haven't done anything to my Triumph Tiger. Ducati bikes are just so conducive to aesthetic mods.
      I agree, I won't be doing the wings. Plastic wings are standard on this bike and carbon upgrades cost close to $1000. Totally not worth it in my opinion.

    Quintessential ?? if your looking for Quintessential buy a STM dry clutch kit you not only get the look but also the Quintessential Ducati sound.

      I see your point, but I'm just not a big fan of the dry clutch for street riding.

      It has been really interesting to see how divided people are over this mod. Some people really like it, others not at all. This is one of the things that make the hobby so fun.
