I dont think you are correct. As somone that was in an accident and slid down the road 62ft, nothing is "sticking" to the road. The plastic is there becuse it will hold up better to the abbrasion like knee sliders. What will causes the fracture is the impact of trying to brace or catch yourself as you fall over.

I had the Air 2s or whatever the name of the shorter ones was. This ribbed section acts as the palm slider and does a surprisingly good job. I’ve had them save my a$$ once already.

If it only turns off in neutral then it's a bad design, you can put it in neutral at a light but that's a split second that could change your life.

I got a very cheap gloves with a plastic palm slider and some knuckles protection in it, when i fell on my bike on a corner, i tell you that cheap gloves i have, it works perfectly and as it should.

I disagree! It is not a must mod to do, Most aftermarket "fender eliminators" do not look the part at all, you just swap a part you already have with an expensive one just to justify buying it. If it was possible why not remove it entirely? You are breaking the law anyway but not having it at the proper angle, or you buy some obscure piece to hide the number plate. Fuck fender eliminator kits, just a bad industry practice.

Or you actually learn how to fall from a motorcycle properly. You ride it as long as you can kicking it away once you are on the ground. And yes, as you just imagine it right your hands are on the handlebars the whole time and not trying to do pushups. Sure - any little extra protection helps but instead of trying to buy safety you can actually learn it and as a bonus you might not take a tumble at all.

Fun fact, it doesnt help with the heat. I also put heat shields under seat and other areas and it still feels like your ass is in top of volcano with molten lava flowing

When I was in a crash, the gloves took all the brunt, sliders are very important, a fractured wrist is ridiculously painful and takes much longer to heal because of the tiny intricate bone structure.

Pls do one on knuckle and knee guards too. My right elbow is almost exposed as the concrete ate my skin covering it, for lunch. I suffered a serious accident last year and I am getting back to motorcycling so want to be as safe as possible. U r doing a grt job mate👍🏼
