I love Acustica Audio's Sand Channel Strip, or the Wave's Schepps' Channel Strip. So much functionality and great sound in a single package. Thanks Jon. You've got a great channel. One of the very best in my opinion.
Just wondering, why don't you use the Softube Tape as a MixFX? Nice video, and yes, of course you can get a good mix with just 2 plugins, people used to do mixes on just a mixing desk, a few compressors and a few FX processors like reverb and delay.
Thanks bud, and I do! just not on this video, would use an 1176 as well as an LA2A too on that vocal if I wasn't limited to a couple of plugins but yeah, big believer in less is more. Thanks for the comment👍
Of course you can record with 2 plugins. If you need any more plugins you might want to question your recording abilities. Elvis recorded to mono with only a few mics. and not much more. And that was decades before computers.

Just wondering if one could get similar results using Analog Obsession's CHANNEV which you've done a video on.
Absolutely!
