- for those planning to visit thailand and wonder about prices, check out the website below. it's the cheapest that i know of and i also buy from this shop. products will be sold at different prices depending on where u travel to in thailand. but if you're in bangkok, this shop is my go-to. it's called CWArt.... found at BACC ... across MBK shopping center. link is directly below this

haha, thanks jenn! i think if i had the time to stay there can think for a bit, i would’ve bought a couple tubes myself. but since i had gone home and contacted the staff a few days later, with the marked up price, it just wasnt worth it.
@@PaintinHiding You are strong! Of course in the US it's difficult/expensive to get them open stock. I think I paid as much or more for 6 open stock tubes (from eBay) as I did for my whole 24 pure pigment set!

"eye shopping" is great. I sometimes do it online, I put everything I faguely fancy in the cart. Then delete one buy one. Stuffing everything in the cart helps me define what I need from what I want. Thank you Vee for that non-watercolor shopping fix. 😌
oohh that’s a good idea for shopping online! i put things in my cart and leave them there so that i know when things go on sale, the price in my cart changes 😂

Oh this is so interesting, a little glimpse of Thailand, I love that ❤. I laughed when I saw Fitness First. I guess they are global huh? They have a bunch of outlets here too.
That’s a lot of brands that you can get. I feel like there isn’t as much variety here in sg. I think showing us around was great fun and I would just watch videos of art shop tours, no purchase/hauls needed!

brands: we actually have shinhan and holbein available at decent prices as well but they’re imported by different companies than this one that set up the sale so those brands werent included. maybe i’ll need to see if i can catch a sale from that other company next time they have one around me 😊 im glad ur ok with no hauls! thank you!
No idea, but at least we know fitness first is in Singapore and Thailand now 😂. I don’t have a membership either. It’s expensive! And why are we both still awake? 😂

aahh you're right! i should have mentioned that the people who organised this sale is the company that imports these brands of art products. they don't have a physical shop because they only import products and send them to art shops around thailand. that's why this sale was like a temporary pop-up booth area type of thing. :)

Baohong is wicked expensive here. I was surprised to hear you say it was so much cheaper!!
i think baohong is rather affordable (for 100% cotton) for many asian countries. it’s understandable that it’d be expensive for countries further away. like how daniel smith is wicked expensive in thailand and extremely overpriced 😂

I absolutely LOVE the artist grade Mungyo oil pastels! They are a dupe for Sennelier! Not even joking, they are THAT good. I also had no idea they even made watercolors, let alone so many different sets! Hmmmm........I just bought 49 tubes of Michael Harding watercolors (yes, I did just do that and yes I know I have no self control), two days ago. I do NOT need to try Mungyo yet. Although pay day is in two days sooo.............
Jesus, maybe I need to start a RUclips channel to offset some of these costs! (LOL, don't worry, I know it takes hard work to faithfully upload enough to please the algorithm into pushing your channel enough to start become lucrative!)

You're so lucky! I live in Europe and in our country we have only 1 professional art shop in the whole country :( It has only Rembrandt and Van Gogh watercolors and a few DaVinci brushes. Never has sales and news. Amazon and eBay either do not ship to our country or shipping is much more expensive than a product. I dream about a ShinHan palette with an insert and a Mijello bulletproof palette. If someone knows there to buy with delivery to EU, please, tell me!

Hi! I’m curious how much cheaper are these known brands sold in Thailand incomparison to Jacksons online? I’m based in Autralia and I’m visiting Bangkok soon, but won’t have much time, so I am curious if it’s worth my time to go to the art stores! Thank you!
valid question. i just updated the description box to include a link of my go-to shop. the link is at the top. prices are all on there. u can see other products from the category menu tab on the left side of the site as well. if u know what u want, i suggest contacting the shop through facebook or email, and they could possibly prep it for you in advance. and when u get to thailand, just go pay and pick up. because it's possible that when u get here, they might be sold out of certain products and what not. hope that helps :)
