@@saulocpp I didn't even know anyone who actually owned Decapattack. I had a copy coz my folks let my sister & I buy a game each. She chose Castle of Illusion, for some reason I chose Decapattack simply coz I thought the cover looked cool. It's still a fun game too.
@@BoozeAholic Even though I knew only 1 person who owned it, we had little chance to find it available for rent during the weekends in the year it came out. One would either find a way to reserve or have trouble with parents/school if renting during the week.
The sound is probably one of the best "features" in the game. The sound is very great. When his eyes pop out, it makes this very nice noise that may reminds you of watching Cartoon Network or WB Kids during the 1990s and early 2000s in the dark.
I played through this recently on the Genesis Collection on xbox one. Super fun game. I would've loved it as a kid. But my parents got me a SNES not a Genesis back when I was a kid.
To say my copy of Decap attack had a weird bug that flipped my controls in the game (this seems a reoccurance in most Vic Tokai titles?) this was one of the first MD games i got as a kid, likely cos it been a comic strip in the UK sonic the hedgehog comic book and the soundtrack SLAYS. little did i know it was a reskin of magic hat turbo adventure , but this game has the superior soundtrack and visuals, and is a little easier.
Could you upload the soundtrack to Magical Hat Adventure? It's the game that was used as a base to make Decap Attack. It has a great soundtrack and I'd like to hear it on real hardware!
Boss List: Boss 1 Sonic Boss 2 Luigi Boss 3 Tails Boss 4 Mario Boss 5 Sparkster Boss 6 Plugman Boss 7 Knuckles Boss 8 Master Hand Final Boss Ristar + Normal Ending
That intro theme is still one of the most pumping songs in a 16-bit game I've ever heard. Simply fantastic.
And it's the final boss theme!
@@dnmstarsi Very much so, and I hear the song in Metal in my head everytime that I hear it xD
very underrated game/ost
Where did you get this "very underrated" thing from? I don't know anyone who had a Genesis and didn't appreciate it.

Hi from 2024
another killer! love it
underappreciated.
10:04 so good !
The game was just as good as the soundtrack and the ending was worthy of it. Wish they had more time to make a sequel game was too dope!
I LOVED the comics in Sonic The Comic. I always imagined it to have a laugh track like Scooby Doo.
3:35 is definitely my favorite.
Oh yeah, I just love me a good yellow gorilla in my horror games
revisited this soundtrack for this banger 4:21
Awesome game, awesome soundtrack.
Oof, right in the childhood! Still have my original version! Tell you what though, even emulating this with save states it kicks my arse
underrated game, played it in my childhood when i was 4
Has anyone played this game's Sega Master predecessor Psycho Fox? That game is also a gem with an earworm of a soundtrack!
The company vic tokai used that engine in other games as well, like Kid Kool (I think).
True 16-bit music love it!!! I wish more Genesis games had music like this instead of that damn GEM sound ugh. 2022 and Im still feeling this!

SEGA's Mandatory Wall Of Death Chase Level
this intro track is deadly fun to learn on guitar! I love a good challenge! ;)
This soundtrack is a masterpiece. Level 4 has a very bluesy vibe in It, and Level 5 could fit perfectly on Saxon's Destiny.
I played through this recently on the Genesis Collection on xbox one. Super fun game. I would've loved it as a kid. But my parents got me a SNES not a Genesis back when I was a kid.
7:54 Gave me Team Azula vibes
Don't care if it's the Americanized version, I LOVE IT!

Overall best sounding game ever
Amo ate hj as musicas desse jogo principalmente a ultima
I always thought decap attack was based on some saturday morning cartoon but I was wrong.
11:31... lembro dessa musica!!!
Is it just me or does the music of Level 4 (7:53) sound like the Cars?
Hello. So this shit sounds as good as anything made by anyone ever.
I do not remember the music being this fast
I obvious lived an underprivileged life in the PAL region
This soundtrack is like DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince teamed up with Dark Moor.
Esse jogo é perfeito demais, amo esse jogo...
🤩🇧🇷🤩
HWAH!
Quote my friend "is that sonic?!?!"

Did you know that the intro theme of Decap Attack was used for the final boss theme?
Yes. I do.
I know that it was used in _Mega Mega Whoosh_ (or at least I'm pretty sure it was)
This OST always gave me B-52s vibes
20:03 Battlemania-Trouble Shooter?
2d Blue Boy Adventures (PC) All Bosses (No Damage)
Boss List: Boss 1 Sonic Boss 2 Luigi Boss 3 Tails Boss 4 Mario Boss 5 Sparkster Boss 6 Plugman Boss 7 Knuckles Boss 8 Master Hand Final Boss Ristar + Normal Ending
Music Boss Theme Looks Like Decap Attack (Stage 2 And 4, 6 Boss)
decap attack theme really loud
Level 3 is the boglin watch theme!
Boss battle 1 remember sunsoft gremlins 2 battle theme
The intro could be something from Megadeth's discography tbh 🔥🔥😂😂
what about the music that plays on 5-2
"Level 7"
The Best
Holy shit I played this on that shitty Sega plug and play, and I think it boosts the sound like an octave up
Was this off of the widebody genesis or the skinny one?
Gazdatronik The bigger one, and an early model.
@@DUSTINODELLOFFICIAL I have that one too, the model 1 high Def. grafics, the best one and the most beautiful of all, for me of course
DECAP ATTACK THEME BUT REALLY LOUD
Não sei pq, mas as músicas desse jogo me lembram muito as músicas da banda Alien Sex Fiend ...
0.8 speed for the 50fps sega version
Sounds like children of bodom
