Mules so freaking stubborn, but so much fun to ride! I had a neighbor when I was a kid that used to call my dad and tell him send your daughter over I need someone to ride my mules, they are sitting around getting more stubborn. I did not waist anytime saddling, I would walk out with carrots and here they would come, halter them and jump on and ride. The other mules would follow me as I was on one mule because of all the carrots I was carrying. I stop, switch mules and until I rode all of them, total 4 of them so I had to make sure I did not run out of carrots before I got back to my neighbors house…LOL!! Anyway thank you for the video!!!! Oh and yes, leave people dogs alone!!! I freaking hate it when people come up to my dog when I am training. I had to put those stupid signs on her harness that she is in training and to not touch my dog. I have dogs for protection and if you run up on me and my dog and she is standing next to me, you will get bit, again she is for protection for a reason and she guards my home and animals but I need to take her out to learn control and commands so she knows how to act when I take her places, so thank you Pat for reminding people of this fact, a persons dog needs to be respected and left alone and children should be taught this as well.
In Australia we love when you get all technical, just saying. Also, are you going to have that special mule training sauce and fancy thin mule training headstal for sale on the website? The new panlicker looks great and remember, there is no point having a dog and barking too.
Dogs in the truck bed is so wild; that's very illegal here and we're in the rural midwest. You get a $250 ticket if you're caught with a dog in the bed of your truck; three offenses and animal control is called to take possession of the animal. They have to be in a locked kennel at all times or in the cab.
I am sorry you are underrating yourself here. I understand your definition of a trainer, especially muletrainer and I agree. the way you presented yoursefl to Bella in Part 1+2 and your negotiation with the terrorist El Rey proves that you are an artist. Thanks. that is what i learned from Pat Parelli since 1991. How mules think feel act and play. How to go about it. I am 71 and a veterinarian, but far away of your expertise and application of the philosophy. so be sure i will watch every future video too and have lot to learn. Still have spanish Mule 9 y called Bela to start under saddle. I thank you for sharing your wisdom.
@@casdragon_5939 I totally understand. Idk what bugs me about it. I don't like owner either. Guardian is closer to how I feel, but it's awkward to say. I prob sound way too woo for this channel. LOL
Is there a reason Pat went with the Las Cruces over a Santa Barbara or Nevada? or is that what El Ray had already been in? I don't know much about mules either.

Handsome mule! Tiny steps, common sense and listening to your animal goes a long long way. Deb and Pat you are the best.
Lol, Delray has the best expressions 😂 It will be interesting to see how your new pup progresses in his job. Ive never heard of that breed before.
My son Dave lives above you and I never miss a video. You guys are great! I admire your knowledge.

Thanks Pat for your wisdom as well as your military service. My dad deals with the effects of Agent orange too.
Nice pup.
Does a mule feel quite different to ride in their movement.
Haha. I've been known to look like the grapes of wrath while traveling myself.
Great video as always y'all.
When you guys coming to Georgia?
What great information and video
Thanks once again for the wealth of information you seem to possess! And the dry bits of humour. Chuckling while learning works well!
That is awesome!
Agreed with your thoughts on dogs.
That little pot licker is going to be a good working dog for you Pat.
So much great information
And here I've been using strawberry jam. 😃

One of my favorite videos!! And I'm with you guys Do NOT call me my dog's (or my horse's) "Mom". Geez I hate that LOL.
I'm proud to be all of my pet's mom lmao. Its just a term, not really a big deal
