I used to have a pair of mules that I used pulling a covered wagon. I was having a problem with one of them and my Dad walked over to me and told me Son you have to be smarter than the animal that you’re training. After I finally figured out what he was talking about, that one mule turned out to be the best of the pair.

      I can relate. Nothing like the jingle-jangle, clip-clop, creak-creak, snort-snort of a team hitched to a wagon

@@bobbyb7127 Well, there's no reason to betray the one that provided me all the blessings and for no return. I thankfully am educated about Christianity as I am about Islam and with all the respect, my brother in humanity, I do not believe in Jesus as a creator but a prophet who tried to spread the message of god. There has been and there is and there will be ultimately only one creator, and all the others(angels prophets, messengers, people, and animals) are servants to that one almighty lord. I wish you a great life and I hope you will be guided to the right path🙏♥️.

13:45 "too many people, when their training their horse, or training their mule, or training their dog, or training their KID" Great wisdom! Doesn't matter what, or who, you're trying to train it takes effort, time, & consistency!

Good morning Dewayne & Mama! Just waking up with my coffee ☕ & vibing with Reba's personality this morning. Mules aren't the only ones who are a little lazy or stubborn at times.😅 Enjoy this beautiful Spring weather!

    Hi Dewayne....
Just an Observation here... the whole time throught out the Video, Reba was constantly fussing with the Bit as if it was Bothering her or something was wrong with it.
It kinda looked like it was a little Tight up into her mouth, and the actual rings of the snaffle were trying to go into her mouth.
It kinda looked the Headstall might have been too Snug. ????
I had a Riding Mule for years, and for some reason, I have realized that they can be Fussy about Sensitive ares of their bodys, when it comes to the Fitment of their Equipment. Just an OBSERVATION. F.Y.I.
    Have a Great Day.
and Keep Up the GREAT Work. 😊

Great lesson in patience. Really appreciate your most basic breakdown on a green mule. This is how to teach- unlike watching a made horse show off its training for the trainer! Love the sensible foundation you build. You demonstrate how the right baby steps will get you there if you recognize them.

Reba’s coming along Dewayne. Looks like forward motion and improvement. I was never around mules until later in my dad’s life he bought a set of draft size mules to hitch to a wagon. I came to really like messing with those two. All that came with the harnessing and hitching was a learning experience to me. Anyway, they grow on you. Yes, they can be stubborn like they’re known for but can’t we all. Thanks for showing us how Reba’s doing. Oh, and those old, vintage saddles you referred to probably had the old “A-fork” tree. Similar but probably more extreme to what you referred to as the 90 x 4. Thanks again sir.

The saddling information was excellent. I love how simple you kept it. Maybe sometime in a future video you could talk about intervals in pressure and release? For example, that pressure is lost temporarily when shes moves her feet and you have to correct her? I assume reapply the same pressure immediately? How long is an appropriate release period for reward? Maybe kind of novice questions but I want to make sure Im getting this right

When I play RDR2, I always call the first blond you get “Kiddo”. After Beatrix Kiddo from Kill Bill. I wish they’d put more care (as if Rockstar didn’t do enough ) in to what different saddle components mean for different uses. Like driving a truck, I want different drive separate from driving muscle or sport. I know they’re gonna do that kinda stuff in gta6. Anyway😅 I got no mule nor acres. But I love this stuff

In the beginning God created Heaven and Earth. He created humans too to have a relationship with Him. That's our purpose as humans that have a relationship with God. Sin, however, messed that up because it made us imperfect and imperfect creatures cannot have a relationship with a perfect and holy God. That's why we so oftentimes feel empty, unsatisfied and unaccomplished because we're not in relationship with the God we were created to be in a relationship with. But that's where Jesus comes in. Jesus is God's son and He came down to earth in human form to live the same life we do yet unlike us He never sinned. Jesus is perfect. Yet despite the fact He is perfect He died on the cross for our sins and sacrifice Himself for us. The punishment for our sins is death but because Jesus took that punishment for us if we put our faith in Him and receive Him as Lord and savior we can be reconciled to God and be restored to that relationship we were created to have. And we can be sure that Jesus is the Son of God because on the 3rd day God raised Him from the dead and in that He defeated death and the grave, proving that He can do the same for us if we put our faith in trust in Him. That's how you get to Heaven. That's how you become full in your heart. That's how you become reconciled to the God who created you.
