Mother's Day in England was a couple of months ago this year. My parents live in England, where I was born and resided for 21 years. I've now lived in the US for about 30 years, and I still screw up the dates for Mother's Day. Funny thing is, Father's Day is actually the same day in both countries. From what I've read, Mother's Day in the UK was originally known as "Mothering Sunday", which has it's roots in Christianity. The "Mother's Day" celebrated in the US was actually invented in the early 1900s. Interestingly, the American idea of "Mother's Day" was brought to the UK by US troops during World War 2. This idea was embraced in the UK, but it was decided that the original, church-related date should be retained. So, Mother's Day in the UK always occurs on the last Sunday of Lent, which varies each year. And hence my yearly anguish. 😉 Btw, I love seeing you on RUclips each week, and listening to your little chats. Your happiness is infectious. I really admire the positively and happiness you typically show the world, as well as your courage to show weakness when you feel sad and/or unwell. You're helping many people, and not just those with cancer. That's something I would be very proud to accomplish in my life. Take good care of yourself fighter! ❤

It's not Mothering Sunday in Scotland. You have a different date in USA. NE Scotland had 20C temperatures for two days in a row but today my coastal area had sea fog, haar, forecast to last all day. I cycled five miles inland and found the sun again this afternoon. There are lots of cafes to choose from for a cake and coffee break. Today I ended up at one within a small museum dedicated to a writer called Lewis Grassick Gibbon. He wrote about the (poor) tenant farmers of the area in the early part of the 20th century. It's good that the nerves to your foot seem to have recovered a bit. Being strong enough to enjoy walking your dog is a big thing for you.

He went from barely being able to walk to walking like he never had a problem. It’s made a tremendous difference in his life, so here’s wishing you the very same results!
Maybe being off the chemo is helping you feel better. I'm on oral therapy as well for metastatic breast cancer. Hope the new treatment continues to make you feel better and keeps you stable. So happy for you.

I have an internal Spinal Cord stimulator. This is my second one as it needs to be replaced every 5 years & technology has improved. Mine is Boston Scientific.
How do you like it? Does it do what they say? I would imagine if you have had it for this long it must.

I prayed deeply and sincerely for you and personally I can say that I believe that Jesus Christ my God answered your prayers and my prayers, and I am so happy that you experienced a week of positive feedback from Tess and doctors and no pain in the arm in the leg and that you were able to walk your dog and I only hope that he gets better from here and I pray that it gets better from here and keep on going sister I’m proud of you. I love you I care about you and you’re right hope is stronger than fear.

I wanted to share with you that my brother had the spinal stimulator installed about 4 months ago. He went from barely being able to walk to walking like he never had a problem. It’s made a tremendous difference in his life, so here’s wishing you the very same results!

Maybe being off the chemo is helping you feel better. I'm on oral therapy as well for metastatic breast cancer. Hope the new treatment continues to make you feel better and keeps you stable. So happy for you.
