Would a knee scooter help your wife? I loved mine...it even had a basket to lug some stuff around. (Now as a bi-lateral amputee...and attempting to heal to get another leg, I wish I felt steady enough to use it.)
Always wonderful seeing you. I wish they could keep you out of pain like you experienced for 36 hours. My amazing Nicole. I am sending you vibes of peace and healing ✌🏻🤟🏼🥰❤️
we always love when we get to see sweet matilda, dogs always seem to make everything better. so sorry for what you and your dear wife are going through.
Nicole you are such a beautiful and special person. You remind me to be grateful and present in this moment. Also you have inspired me to get back onto my bike. :) Thank you. I'm sorry you're having to endure that awful rib pain for so long along with immobility and fatigue. I'm sending healing thoughts and loving energy your way. I hope your wife's foot heals quickly too. Gentle hugs and a nuzzle for sweet Matilda.💕
Nicole, It's so hard to see you suffer. I can only imagine how difficult things are for you and pray that when you get back to Chicago you can be helped wjth longer lasting pain relief. You are so courageous and complain so little. I would be talking your ear off in the same situation. Your strength is a gift and one that I pray continues to give you hope and peace. Best of luck traveling this week. Can you check into the airline your flying for some assistance? Please do. Much love and prayer....❤👃
Sending peace and strength to you my dear friend. You give so much in our coffee chats every week ... I truly wish I could send something more. I wanted to mention that every year I choose a word to focus on - this year I have chosen "engage" and it's working well. I have already chosen next years word (for 2025) = NAVIGATE! I got it from you. You navigate life so incredibly and use the word with such power. Next year you will navigate 2025 with me. Bless you and thank you always for your contribution to MY journey. You inspire me. ❤🇨🇦
Greetings from Rainbow Warrior Reggie!! This week, my warrior friends and I have assumed the stance of the most intense game of Red Rover, all linked up arm in arm. Our mission: fuse starlight and bone to create the most bionic rib(s) ever! Our power is so intense it radiates through your body. A beam of light bursts from below! You look down and see that you also have a bionic steel leg (that faintly plays Steely Dan if you so choose). This bionic leg looks like stain glass windows, casting sacred colors as you hike, climb, and bike through Jackson Hole. You never get tired during your adventures in the sun, only stopping to bustle around your kitchen to make tea with homemade marshmallows and savory dinner with your chosen tribe. For some reason, I felt called to pull on the imagination that has carried you through so much. I'm honored to be a Rainbow Warrior and will always imagine with you ❤🧡💛💚💙💜🤍🖤🤎
Nicole you are such a fighter…maybe a scooter would be helpful for your mobility…especially through an airport…praying you will get your pain relief!!!
You are that same person with a changeable body who's memory s are so knowing to you and when you look back it is lovely memories Now you show us a beautiful person you are sharing this part of how to steal through Cancer

I’m so glad you were able to get a 36 hour respite from the pain. So difficult to not have the certainty of independence that you once had…more grieving as your journey continues. I’m guessing that “living in the moment” never made more sense than right now. Wishing you safe travels to Chicago and some kind of magic fairy dust or IV that will take away your pain. 🌈🦄☮️💟
Hi beautiful hope you have a good week and your pain team can give you a longer pain block. Safe travels back to your other home. Thinking of you lots of love from Australia. ❤❤❤
I think of you so often during the week, Nicole. I’m hoping they can get your pain under better control very very soon. My heart hurts seeing you and your wife go through so much. You are such a strong, amazing woman. You teach us so much every week with your grace and insights. Thank you for enriching our lives. Matilda is pure joy. I’m so thankful you have her. Xx♥️
Hoping so much you can get some pain relief. I’m sure what you are going through would be hard for anyone but especially for someone like you who has been so strong and active. Fu#cking cancer! Hope the trip to Chicago goes ok. Hugs to you and your wife and of course to your doggie. He must be a very good traveller. Will look forward to seeing you next Sunday my friend 👍
Dearest Nicole, I hope the pain clinic is able to ease the physical pain you are experiencing. I also pray for you to continue to find acceptance in what is happening and through that acceptance find peace. You walk through your journey with heart, grace and grit and I'm so honored to be part of your Rainbow Glitter Warrier army. Much love.

Hi Nicole, sending big hugs to you and your wife and fur baby . I am so sorry to hear and see that you are in pain, when you go to the pain clinic You Make Sure they put something in place for your pain, I will be keeping you and your wife in my thoughts and prayers .xx
Nicole, I know it’s not comparable to cancer, but having chronic pain has its similarities. Everyday is different, so there’s no room for spontaneity anymore. I can’t really plan ahead because I never know what tomorrow will bring. And a lot of my fatigue comes from my pain meds, but I can’t go without them. In part, I understand what you’re going through. That was a crap week. The foot cyst thing sounds serious. Good that your wife got it operated on but it's taken her out as far as doing a lot of things with you. My bit of NE Scotland has had sun for the second day in a row. We had a couple of heavy showers but they came at 8 and 17 miles into my 22 mile bike ride, ideally located right at places where there was a cafe. How's that for luck ? Cake, soup and coffee rain breaks in the warmth of a cafe right when I was about to get battered by hail and rain. Three times. My ass is sore due to doing a longer ride than I have done lately but it was so good to get out along the Aberdeenshire coast then inland on a loop through fields with crops emerging after this long winter. There are lambs in many fields too, out in the warmth after what has been an awful Spring for all farmers here. It sounds like you are managing pain as best you can. The leg weakness must be so frustrating. Could you ride an Ebike Trike ? It would get you and Matilda out to enjoy some fresh air together. Or, get a mobility scooter. Being able to do something outside has always been important to you. Hugs from me.

Hi Nicole, so glad to see you, sending love to you and your wife,xx can't you have more injections ?? It would help you both physically and mentally. I am so sorry for your discomfort, hope Chicago works well. Oh best wishes. Love Christine ❤️ 😂
You are amazingly strong and wise and inspiring me to keep demanding more of myself, both mentally and emotionally. Lovely to see you and cute Matilda, as always. May your body follow your mind in overcoming the limitations you are currently experiencing. Love to you, Matilda and your wife. Karen
My lovely Nicole, I know a lot of the fatigue is linked to cancer but also consider pain is a massive contributor to fatigue so being hit on all sides. It's so good to see you my friend ❤ . You really are incredible and you are doing the best you can. One minute one hour one day at a time. For right here right now you are ok x

Happy to see you again, Nicole. Lovely to see your sweet Matilda. Praying 🙏🏻 for your safety in your travel. It hurts me to see your pain, and to see the fatigue upon your face. You have been dealt such an awful 😞 situation. I’m sorry for everything you & your wife are going through. You are truly an amazing woman. Stay strong 💪🏻 be safe, and looking forward to seeing you Sunday. ❤ Love & prayers 🙏🏻
I'll never forgot the twig snapping sound of my ankle bone when I broke it. A PTSD situation after 39 years.😢 But enough about me... A wholehearted blessing to you and yours coming your way.
I love you woman. Your whole journey has been so rough on you! Prayers always to you and Gabby. Thank you for being so authentic throughout all this. I look forward to Sunday… Peace my friend 🌈🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️
Dear Nicole, you are an amazing woman warrior. I am praying that your pain will lessen (and) you will be active again. sending healing aloha to you and your wife.❤❤❤
Baby steps. 1 minute at a time. I can't imagine wrapping my head around all you and your wife are going through. I am so glad you have each other. I hope you find some relief soon!❤
I’m sending you my love and prayers. You are a true inspiration. I will never forget how you face each with determination and grit and your beautiful smile ❤
Hi Nicole I am sending prayers and light to soothe your pain, hoping that will allow you to rest and become more mobile. Praying for Gabby that her foot heals so she can become more mobile as well. When you coughed I grabbed my side because I felt the pain was unimaginable. Praying also that you have a smooth and safe trip to Chicago and back. ❤❤🩹🙏🏾🦄🌈
I'm sorry that your rib pain is so persistent. I've had cracked ribs and the pain is just horrid. I so wish they could give you more sustained relief. Maybe in Chicago? I hope your journey is uneventful and that you are able to manage. Sending gentle hugs that avoid ribs, and warm wishes. ❤
I'm so glad to see you and that you at least had 36 hrs of relief. I'm hoping you can get a long term solution. I'm sending love and positive traveling vibes.
Nicole, I am praying for you and Gaby ❤️ praying that your pain management team can help ease the pain that you've been experiencing. You are on our minds and in our hearts, and we will continue to pray, love, and support you ❤️❤️ Love always- your friends in NYC ❤️
I think it’s important to try to be pain free and get the drugs/sedation level balanced to suit you. I really hope your pain team can work it out. I hope you don’t mind but I did laugh out loud at the thought of maybe both of you scooting around the kitchen on your bums 😂. 😘😘🤗🤗
Nicole, ribs take a really long time to heal. I had 7 broken ribs after a very bad surgery that I almost died from-my doctor told me my ribs would always be a source of pain. Well, today they aren’t always painful. It is manageable with the right medication. Sometimes the bones take longer to heal due to all the trauma that they have been through-you will get there. Have you ever considered a rollator to help with mobility? I always see people at the grocery store with them. Sending you 🙏🙏🙏.
I just bought one yesterday and I love it! I am definitely not allowing my ego to prevent me from using mobility devices if that is what is needed. I did the research and the Rollator seem to be the best choice and after playing with it absolutely is. Thank you for all the love and the constant positive juju ❤️💪🏻🌈
Great seeing you. So glad you have your wife (Gabby). You both have been through so much. Sweet lady hope you get some rest. Drink some tea and hopefully relax. See you💕🙏
Nicole I’m so sorry that you’re in pain and that your rib is giving you a hard time in your leg sometimes gives out but what I think is very possible is that possibly it’s not anything to do with the cancer necessarily but maybe it’s a side effect of the medication maybe it’s causing some kind of muscle weakness or sometimes certain medications could take away the mineral of calcium which could affect the bones and thin the bones as well. It’s a possibility that it’ll heal and get stronger and better and more stabilized with Jesus Christ as the healer anything is possible and I suggest you use positive affirmations and meditate off of positive affirmations, and keep saying it to yourself until you believe it and as you believe, it will probably manifest and transform your body for the good, I believe all things are possible for the good after all you’ve already survived and been so strong all these years just keep on going do your best for yourself be natural be free I hope that your doctor appointments go well and they are able to do the pain management successfully to help the leg and chest much love to you Pastor Elizabeth❤
Nicole you are such a warrior. Praying for your internal peace. You have been thrown so much at you and have maintained your positive energy. God bless you

I sincerely hope that you get through your week and that your results are stable. Best wishes to you and your wife.

There are lambs in many fields too, out in the warmth after what has been an awful Spring for all farmers here.
It sounds like you are managing pain as best you can. The leg weakness must be so frustrating. Could you ride an Ebike Trike ? It would get you and Matilda out to enjoy some fresh air together.
Or, get a mobility scooter. Being able to do something outside has always been important to you.
Hugs from me.
I can totally relate to fatigue and pain. It is really hard and no one truly understands until they experience it themselves.
You are not alone. This is a familiar topic ... life changing daily ... and the debilitation ... and inconsistency. Please try to stay positive through it all, not easy; YOU CAN DO IT! Much love!
Blessings to you and your family & love to your fur baby❤

Hope you get a pain blocker next week or a.s.a.p. ❤
