- Batman: Arkham Knight is an action-adventure game developed by Rocksteady Studios and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. Based on the DC Comics superhero Batman, it is the successor to the 2013 video game Batman: Arkham Origins, a direct sequel to Batman: Arkham City (2011) and the fourth main installment in the Batman: Arkham series. Written by Sefton Hill, Ian Ball and Martin Lancaster, Arkham Knight is inspired by the long-running comic book mythos. If you go there after beating the game you can see they have made a barricade to fend off the goons and they'll talk to you about how it's all over. By medical staff i mean the doctors you saved (minus Young for obvious reasons), not Aaron

I finally finished the game yesterday at 100%.The level of satisfaction was unbelievable. Best Batman Game (My opinion, so NO hate comments).

@@WBW_Anakin_Skywalker I completed almost 95% of the game then went out to complete the riddlers trophies. Finally completed that, defeated riddler, then went for final confrontation with scarecrow.

Well to be perfectly honest, in my humble opinion, of course without offending anyone who thinks differently from my point of view, but also by looking into this matter in a different perspective and without being condemning of one's view's and by trying to make it objectified, and by considering each and every one's valid opinion, I honestly believe that I completely forgot what I was going to say.
I really liked these games version of batman, they showed the gritty filthy and absolute vile evil that dwells in gotham city.
any other movie and series always downplayed it for "the kids" but here it felt like it became realized "as it should be"

a confusing thing is that with the audio records you unlock with the riddler trophies, you learn that arkham knight reveal his identity to barbara after kidnapping her and she doesn't tell batman about it

The story in this game was a disaster. It was horribly written....Tim and Barbara is a couple? Bruce getting his identity exposed only to die or fake die or whatever? Or how about scarecrow.......man somehow got the most stereotypical villain personality different from how he was in the first game. Arkham Knight being Jason Todd was so predictable to anyone who knows Batman series, especially given that there's two animated Red Hood movies.....brooooooo
Arkham Knight would have been interesting if it was Damien given the fact that Ra's was in the second game. That actually would have thrown everyone for a spin especially since many people weren't aware of Damien that much at that time, as well as how similar his story to Todd would have been.

@@hypnosis0693 exactly what I said. His personality was stereotypical. Man became a philosopher and had this stoic demeanor which is different from scarecrow in the comics or the first game. He basically became Hugo strange. Sure, scarecrow is a doctor of philosophy (PhD) in psychology, so he often do explain things sciencey but he had a madness to his rhythm the same as in the first game. The first scarecrwo and this one felt like two different characters.
His plan was also kinda shit....if he wanted to scare off of Gotham, he broadcasting his plan was ass, and if it was simply a plot to beat Batman, then that was also an ass plan when subtlety works way better. This was like Thanos "I'll kill half the world so there's more resources" type of plan. Look, a villain doing bad shit doesn't mean it makes sense. Plenty of villains plans are absolutely dog shit. And scarecrow was one of them. You compare Ultron to Thanos - while Thanos had a waaaaay better personality and charisma compared to Ultron, Ultron plan actually made sense. Compare scarecrow to joker......joker never cared about world domination, he was just simply put always an embodiment of chaos. So even if something seems moot, it isn't cuz the chaos entertains joker. Like, if joker pulled this plan on Gotham it would make sense. Cuz, "some people just want to see the world burn", and in joker's eyes, this would be the world burning. Whereas that wasn't scarecrow persona, ever. He was always consumed with observing fear. He is a scientist who is obsessed with fear and the effects of fear and the way to test his theories is to have subjects that succumb to his fear toxins. But again, in this case you warn them so so many leaves unless it's criminals, where you could have tested in a much different environment.

@@superheroisgreat175 True. I remember when i played AK and it took me 1 week (i was working btw xD) to complete the insane amount of riddler´s trophies and riddles. But i would say 10-15 of them were a royal pain in the arse, specially the ones with the batmobile.
Perhaps they should had done two face or penguin trophies to mix the things a little
He is annoying but that is why I enjoy fighting him at the end. As it is, I spend my playthroughs gradually gathering his trophies as they become available so by the time the option to surrender to Scarecrow is given, the clean-up is rather easy.

This is one of my favourite games ever, but I hate how the story ends. Not only does Batman get unmasked, but he does so because he deliberately gave himself up to Scarecrow. Batman had no reason at all to think that Scarecrow wouldn't just kill Robin and Gordon when Batman surrendered, it was just very stupid.
The game honestly forces him to make bad decisions to help service the story
@@jb_hd Of course all of Batman's bad decisions (along with every other decision, good or bad, of Batman's, and of everyone else) are dictated by the story. But the point is that Batman, as we know the character, wouldn't make bad or stupid decisions, and the fact that he does so here means that the story is not an accurate portrayal of the character. Much of Batman: Arkham Knight's story is really good, with great plot and dialogue, and then it suddenly has Batman doing something stupid, for no good reason.
@@ConkerTS there’s an entire trope called the Batman Gambit and it’s based off the fact that in any depiction of him, he has an almost psychic ability to predict what people are going to do next. We as the audience can see the failure condition because we have certain benefits as audience members that the characters in the game do not, but that also blinds us to the fact that Batman would not have made those decisions if he wasn’t exactly sure of how Scarecrow would have reacted, even if we don’t have that same information.
On top of that, Batman planned for his identity to be revealed. That was an integral part of the story of Arkham Knight, that he, as Batman, in his current iteration, was unequipped to handle what was to come. He needed something that would rise from the ashes of Batman.
They honestly need to make an agreement among him, Superman and Wonder Woman that if things ever get bad in their territory the others get involved.
Why would he come in guns blazing? He knows what scarecrow can do. He knows scarecrow doesnt want any of his companions dead. He says it all the time during his and arkham knight's convos. He wants fear, not death.

I have to disagree, Batman Locking Robin up made very little sense. He not only left him defenseless, but he left his comms unit disabled as well so he couldn’t communicate with anyone. There were definitely better ways to detain him to prevent him from doing anything stupid without making him a prime scarecrow target.

After playing through once, I played it a second time but refuse to finish. I completed all the side missions and put everyone behind bars except Scarecrow. I just hate how when you want to just beat guys up afterwards they want to call you Brucey-boy and stuff. Ruins the feel of being Batman for me.

Lmk what is your favorite way to start these kinds of story games. For example, do you like to finish the story first and then side missions, or side missions first then story?
Finish main story only, Play NG+ and finish everything then come back to the main game and finish the side quests.
Finishing the side quests is anticlimactic for me, after the main story is resolved. Plus you get the Knightfall ending if you 100% the side quests before finishing.
@@abelundercity I actually loved the side quests more than the main story, which I thought was a little weak. And you can opt to delay the Knightfall ending until you do the side quests anyway. There's also bonus interactions from villains after the main story when they already know that you're Bruce Wayne.
I just like experiencing both lol

@@rexarsenio9447 I like to do the side quests along with the story as I can do them, but I make sure to finish up the side-quests before finishing the main story. That's just my personal preference, no offense meant to those who do things another way.

I got the game up to about 91% The only things left were the Riddler Trophies, The bomb mines, and The Azrael tests. Just could not do the one with the black ninja guys that fails if you get hit.
I got 240 percent 3 days ago and that test in new game plus was a nightmare
Lol so nerf it down to easy just for that specific test...the Riddler trophies and bomb mines you should be able to handle on normal though.
@@WalshyBoyTVI got lucky my game glitched while I was doing the azriel side quests in NG+ the AI were all stationary and not reacting to anything I would literally knock someone over then they’d just get up and return to where they were standing acting like nothing happened. I took full advantage of it though lol. I could probably have done it without the glitch but didn’t want to put myself through that torture. Especially after the iceberg Lounge, Curtain Falls, and Chill in the Air achievements.
