If we're sharing, the first TSFH song I listened to was Archangel. I heard it on a general playlist of "Epic Music" and had to know more about the group.
It reminded me of Bach when I was practising that part! Contrapuntal writing and it requires the same skills as playing baroque music. Maybe I'd be faster at picking it up if I played more contrapuntal music.
That's just what's so great about tsfh. They combine classical seeming harmonies and melodies with modern rock like music and make it all sound epic...
Well, you exceeded my expectations on this one since I didn't believe anyone could actually do this piece properly. But like I said before, I guess I shouldn't underestimate someone with such a great level of talent. My excuse though is that I wasn't really expecting "All is Hell That Ends Well." It's a lesser known and even less played track from Skyworld, so the chances of people recognizing it is a little more limited (though it is the first track in the album). I thank you for the arrangement and as always, good luck in all your future endeavors.
+Alex Waters Really... At the time, I hadn't even heard of TSFH. It was only after I watched a great machinima series called "Rise of The Spartans" (from Halo: Reach) that I found out about their music. I can still remember every scene the tracks were used in and what tracks were used. I guess when you've listened to this kind of music all your life, you start to memorize the melodies. But maybe that's just me :)
I'm detecting a theme, but I'm not sure it'll amount to anything since everyone has different experiences with TSFH. Hopefully they were good ones though :)
Hi Andrew i love your covers and All is hell that ends well is one of my absolute favourites of tsfh. Thank you so much for making my day with this amazing video
wow I certainly didn't expect an Arrangement of this! Very well done! I love it when TSFH does something unexpected with this Genre like they did with this track. It will never be boring with them. If you also do a Piano Version of All the Kings horses, then I'm really impressed. I mean like, even more impressed than I already am of course.
My first TSFH song was The Soul That Must Awaken, and then Am I Not Human? Now these are not at the top of TSFH for me, but they worked as official introduction. Before these two I of course knew Heart of Courage, I can't imagine a person with a TV that hasn't even heard it in an advertisement. But I mean, then I started skimming through their 1000+ tracks and I just couldn't stop listening to them. I found the YT channel when Miracles was coming out so Miracles, Eyes Closing, especially Color the Sky and Compass have a special place in my heart. Anyways, this piano cover makes All Is Hell That Ends Well feel unsettling, and I'm positively surprised at it. It mixes well with the baroque style at around 2:50 and the general tone.
I never would have thought that this piece would be doable on piano this well, I appriciate your work a lot as a fellow pianist your TFSH arrangements are hands down the best on YT keep up the amazing work! :) (also you always do my favourites somehow you feel it :D)
another amazing performance , you just make it look easy xD , those parts at 1:53 and at 2:39 weren't easy to play and you did them perfectly , really love your piano covers and looking forward for your next orchestral :) my first TSFH piano cover i listened to i think it was "United we stand Devided we fall" but i guess it was Archangel that introduced me to TSFH ( it's been so long since i've started listening to TSFH xD )
As always, high-quality piano music.‘Skyworld’ is tsfh very good album.Look forward to more tsfh's piano piece。(Because of this piano song,I met a good song. Thanks)
Honestly? I prefer your version over the original, it's more delicate (?) during the second half : D Also, a new song to be played endlessly on replay, yay!
Simply Incredible!! How someone can think this song to be arranged... Just marvelous!! Hope Skyworld and Secret Places are also arranged by you. Thank you!
This is amazing dude. You did a fantastic job. This is a very hard song to convert to piano without it being virtually unplayable or sounding underplayed, but you managed to do it. Keep up the good work man!!!
Oh... Jump is a great track, however, I don't believe it would be the same without the electric guitar work in the background. It would be difficult just to get the same tones out of it with just the piano, though I've underestimated the piano before and He's exceeded my expectation here, so I guess it could be possible.
Nice cover! Do you think you could do Ocean Princess? I'm dying to see a cover for that song or Casablanca, those two are songs I'd like to hear covered!
The only problem about this is that there is no problematic problem to point out, which is problematic for problem finders because the problem of the lack of problems is problematic to people looking for problems.
Is it me, or the channel is really growing fast lately ? I mean, you only got over 10 000 suscribers a few monthes ago and you're already at 16k ! Whatever, congratulations for your hard word and the dedicaiton you show ^^ Always pleased to hear your covers, even if Star Sky and your original music Be Bold are still my favorites (for now). It's up to you to make me change my mind :D And sorry for any mistake, I'm french ^^'
So sad that you stopped covering tsfh... I really would have liked to see songs like "What's happening to me" or "Race to Durango" for example, two very underrated songs (like this one. ;P) that no-one bothers to cover... :(
It started out, a normal adventure The bewitching sight of infinity A bright sun on the day of departure Strengthened our hopes as we left the city But all magic collapsed on the third night When the dark curtain fell over the land The dense forest that admitted no light Had trapped with the beasts our team and our dread As the hunt began resounded the roars But what we heard is the toll of the bell Silent through the night came the dark gray wolves We realized we had fallen in hell As weapons clashed we fought for our lives But no amount of steel could change our fate With my comrades dying before my eyes My mind went blank and my fear turned to hate Even today I would just smile At what was real and what was hell But my comrades woke up, revived So at least this story ends well -Yume
Hi Andrew. I have a request for you. Could you please do some of these songs on a public piano and have someone record people's reactions while you play? I would like to see you do that with some of the more complicated TSFH songs, preferably Cannon in D Minor. If you do that I'll become a Patreon. Your piano skills are so impressive, I'd love to see people's reactions.
Hey Andrew. I just bought a Casio CDP-130, but can't decide on a pair of headphones to pair with it. Do you have a recommendation for me? Thanks for all your amazing videos, they are actually the reason I started playing the piano again after so many years.
WoelerGaming heyas, well over the ear headphones tend to be great. I use the Sennheiser HD598 but you should be good with most good quality headphones that fit the output of the piano. Good luck and it's great to hear you were inspired to play piano again :)
If we're sharing, the first TSFH song I listened to was Archangel. I heard it on a general playlist of "Epic Music" and had to know more about the group.
Collin Blank I think my first one was Invincible but I'm not sure. That was like 7 Years ago xD
But definitely something from the Invincible Album.
My first one was empire of angels, a piano cover, when i looked up the original song I was instant tsfh fan
My first one was Strength of a Thousand Men.
That's a good one to start on, do you remember where you first heard it?
my first one was victory. i am kinda of a new fan
It´s so interesting to hear just the piano of Thomas work, you can appreciate hes music even more :)
Thanks to your wonderful performances of course!
Hi Andrew, have you ever considered making "Skyworld" from "Skyworld" album, it's a wonderful track. (just my opinion)
林逸凡 might be cool :)
Yes! Please do it!
I totally agree, it should be really nice ! :D I love this track !
Been waiting for this. Those "classical" parts so damn great.
1:52 love these 10 seconds! It sounds like a classical piano piece - Bach? :D
Anyway, awesome as always :)
It reminded me of Bach when I was practising that part! Contrapuntal writing and it requires the same skills as playing baroque music. Maybe I'd be faster at picking it up if I played more contrapuntal music.
DeLarson Piano Covers i agree with u..sounds like bach piece..
Of course!!!
That's just what's so great about tsfh. They combine classical seeming harmonies and melodies with modern rock like music and make it all sound epic...
This is my all time favorite piece by them. I am writing this as I listen, hope it blows my mind;)
Well, you exceeded my expectations on this one since I didn't believe anyone could actually do this piece properly. But like I said before, I guess I shouldn't underestimate someone with such a great level of talent. My excuse though is that I wasn't really expecting "All is Hell That Ends Well." Alex Waters the one that got me into was TSFH was Flight of the Silverbird
Oh, that's a great piece... There's videos of actual orchestras playing that one (and performing it as well) that are pretty good.
same here flight of the silverbird first TSFH for me too.
I'm detecting a theme, but I'm not sure it'll amount to anything since everyone has different experiences with TSFH. Hopefully they were good ones though :)
Holy shit dude you captured the song on piano without losing the impact - chills man, chills.
Hi Andrew i love your covers and All is hell that ends well is one of my absolute favourites of tsfh. Thank you so much for making my day with this amazing video
Wonderful! You have lots of talent, my friend!
Once again; Perfect performance, love it!
Awesome arrangement! I love it?
Can you maybe try the Colonel at one time?
wow I certainly didn't expect an Arrangement of this! Very well done!

One of my favorite songs thanks for covering it
I never expected to see this here. Its one of my favorites but not many people really know about it
Wow this is the Best Song ever thanks

Beautiful adaptation.
I liked it.
I'll be wait for the next composition.

Great job as always! I especially love the transition parts that are also piano in the original, they're so fast and sound amazing.
Wow, this was unexpected, but absolutely beautiful! I'd love to hear Skyworld, one of my personal favorites.
Wow, you absolutely nailed this Song, Awesome!
My first TSFH song was Heart of Courage, than Protectors of the Earth, Archangel and Love & Loss
You did it as good as a rule, this is what I call true talent!
As always, high-quality piano music.‘Skyworld’ is tsfh very good album.Look forward to more tsfh's piano piece。(Because of this piano song,I met a good song. Thanks)
Honestly? I prefer your version over the original, it's more delicate (?) during the second half : D

Thanks so much ^^
Love this song. It has been a privilege to watch you grow as a musician.
Alexandre Guindon thanks so much :)
Your cover of this song is breathtaking. Orchestra and everything captured by 10 fingers. Please do a cover of TSFH's Christmas Medley!
+Andrew Wrangell Music wow im impressed a channel that is very respected and doesn't get many dislikes
Amazing, keep doing what you're doing!
Simply Incredible!! How someone can think this song to be arranged... Just marvelous!!

Wow! Wonderfull playing Andrew, That was Epic!
I hit the like button while the add was still playing before the video started.

It would be awesome to hear you play Thomas Bergersen's "Sun"-- that's my favorite work by him to date.
Outstanding Andrew! ✌
Omg just amazing :D
I love it so much
You never disappoint. Wow and amazing!
Yess! I love this song, great performance. Can I propose a suggestion? Jump, I think it would be awesome.
Oh... Jump is a great track, however, I don't believe it would be the same without the electric guitar work in the background. As all ways, worth the time for multiple listenings. could you maybe do Birth of a Hero. I know you have seen this a lot.
Best part was 0:00-3:44
I keep expecting it to be empire of angels haha. This is great :)
Thaaaaank you very much !!
The only problem about this is that there is no problematic problem to point out, which is problematic for problem finders because the problem of the lack of problems is problematic to people looking for problems.
Another awesome arrangement! Can you please do "Breathe" from Skyworld?
Is it me, or the channel is really growing fast lately ? I mean, you only got over 10 000 suscribers a few monthes ago and you're already at 16k ! I agree.
So great again. I can't belive that. This is from the album Skyworld right?
But again a gerat music and you feel the love into it!💙
Thanks so much!☺
Yep, first track from Skyworld :)
It started out, a normal adventure
The bewitching sight of infinity
A bright sun on the day of departure
Strengthened our hopes as we left the city
But all magic collapsed on the third night
When the dark curtain fell over the land
The dense forest that admitted no light
Had trapped with the beasts our team and our dread
As the hunt began resounded the roars
But what we heard is the toll of the bell
Silent through the night came the dark gray wolves
We realized we had fallen in hell
As weapons clashed we fought for our lives
But no amount of steel could change our fate
With my comrades dying before my eyes
My mind went blank and my fear turned to hate
Even today I would just smile
At what was real and what was hell
But my comrades woke up, revived
So at least this story ends well
-Yume
Ooh I'd like to hear Norwegian Pirate or King Louie Kablooey

YAY!
man... I'm in love of this cover, especially from 1:16 and 2:59
Oh yes.
Didn't start yet but I wonder how you managed to arrange the dubstep part :p
I'm so frustrated. When I listen the original, I can every notes, but when I'm trying to play it on piano I'm lost.
Thank's for this arrangement :)
I can hear*
How long did it take you to learn this entire piece? Crazy good work!!
