    I really hope you get a chance to test out the QS-CH2. I'm saving for a Qubic system and it's between a QS-210 then upgrading to a QS-CH2 later or saving for a couple years and grabbing a QS-S25. Of course I'm gonna need to toss a QS-BT1 in the mix either way now. Your reviews and videos have been essential to tracking down a motion manufacturer I feel will be a good investment. I think their software is going to get extremely refined and excel over the competition. They also are just the hobby side of a manufacturer that has the money to really invest in new technology and advanced programming which means they probably have some really cool things in the works, the QS-CH2 being just one of them. If it can give just half the sensation of drifting without the odd floaty reset feeling it will be worth it. I'm super curious how convincingly a QS-CH2 with a QS-BT1 could trick your brain that your really in a car.

    Hey,
    You got me really intereted into this. I checked their website and QS advice to not buy simracing belts but real belts. So I checked Sabelt because... They seem to be fine; why else would you use them. However... studying their catalogue made me feel like I'm lacking a degree in race car building... or mabye even two; there are just too many options. Any advice on which belt you are using would be very much appreciate or which belts you think would be good for this system. Also... since I feel like the risk of rolling over in a sim isnt that bad, I wouldn't mind having only 4 belts... because... comfort around my "man bits". Do you think that's fine for the system or is having belts between your legs necesary for this to work properly?
    Thanks in advance.

    • @chepilevski
      @chepilevski  2 месяца назад +1

      Hey man, I think I made wrong statement saying 6 points is the probably the best way to go but ones i put my belts on 4 points things get way more comfortable without any change in the feeling of the system and I was super happy with that as it wasn’t really optimal for my balls 😁
      However, about belts i strongly recommend 4 points and all FIA rated belts are absolutely the same in terms of comfort!
      My Sabelt belts where very cheap at the time I got them as the homologation was ended the previous year and i paid like 100€
      You can go for whatever you find from Sabelt, Sparco, OMP and if you want to safe some cash, Beltenik have same belts for 100€
      As I’ve said, whatever you take from those FIA homologated belts they will be absolutely the same for this case and only the stickers will be different!

  • @Gorilla_Jones
    @Gorilla_Jones 2 месяца назад

    This is my question. After having built my own G seat I was looking for a turnkey belt tensioner. But I find that all the belt tensioners get the belts incorrect. Under acceleration the belts shouldn't tighten. You are being pushed back into your seat by the G force of accelerating, which my G seat simulates by pushing the back panel forward and naturally tensioning my body against the belts.
    Under hard braking, then your seat harness should exert force on your body much much greater than when you are accellerating. How does this system work? Is it backward like most?
    Thanks

    • @chepilevski
      @chepilevski  2 месяца назад +1

      It works exactly as you mentioned!
      When you brake the belts tight and creat illusion of braking forces which the pressure added to your chest.

    Is the belt tension progressively linked to brake force or does it give the same amount of force no matter how hard you brake?

    • @chepilevski
      @chepilevski  2 месяца назад +1

      It has progression in release while trial brake and if is pressed lighter!
      It is not linear and also move the pressure from left to right progressively with the weight transfer!
      I still have to find the perfect settings but I’m getting slowly there

    • @chepilevski

      I think this is absolutely great device on its own as it gives something nothing else can do and everything extra like but kickers or motion just adds on top of that!
      As much more I use it that much more love it 😃

    For someone who want to have both: motion platform and belt tensioner - what would you recomment to get first?

    • @chepilevski
      @chepilevski  2 месяца назад +1

      That’s very interesting question.
      As the price difference is quite substantial I would say the Belt Tensioner will be less painful for the bank and still give insane immersion.
      I think right now I enjoy the most the tensioner but that may be because is new to the impression!

      It is complementary for the motion world as it gives the sustained G-Forces!
      There is no way to compare both as they do different things but for sure they complete each other!
      Today I started testing it again with the motion activated and I understand the logic behind some settings if combined with motion activated!
      Each next day I see more and more value in this device 😃

      It does, and it's also made by Qubic systems (their other brand called Motion Systems I think), but its cost is more like 100k EUR or more and requires a lot of power lines and space.
