The problem as I see it with both the Simucube and Simagic 360hz iRacing FFB is that due to the way it works you still have a 1/60th of a second latency as the FFB rate transmitted by iRacing is still 60hz. it's just that in the 1/60th of a second there's simply 5 more additional data points transmitted. It might smooth the FFB, but the latency is still there. IMO iRacing needs to transmit that data at a native 360hz for it to really make an improvement, and this would be an advantage for all wheelbases.
Do you think that’s possible for the current engine they use? To be honest I never had problem with the FFB but if can get better is always awesome! I was skeptical about that 360hz interpolation but it makes indeed the feeling better and the delay is still understandable for me.

This is definitely an interesting innovation. Wonder how this will change the sim racing landscape or if it will ultimately just be a relatively little used feature in 1 or 2 sims. A game having this native with no latency would be interesting.
Well, we know the answer already. rFactor 2, Assetto Corsa/Competizione, Le Man Ultimate and more are over 300hz FFB rate natively. Some are 400hz or so IIRC, and stuff like Beam NG can hit 2000hz from what I saw. Those are frequently mentioned for better FFB for a range of reasons, with sample rate as a key factor for most. The iRacing one is a hack in a way, since they still have core physics at 60hz and stack 6x in their packets. That adds latency that is NOT present in the native examples above. So this is a bit of a stepping stone for whenever iRacing updates their core model and gives us a higher rate, like the others.

Do you not get cliping with those iracing settings? I just got a alpha base and copied the same settings in sim pro and iracing but just diled it back for the alpha to 15nm wheel force. And cant run anymore than 9 max force with out cliping. When i use the auto function takes it back to 6nm max force?
For the 15nm and the mini is better to stay higher in the SimPro manager settings! You can put it down slowly if in game is too strong. The way I set my is getting clipping only over curbs here and there but have more profound feeling in the small effects on the track🤛
Hello great !! I keep feeling it strange a little muffled in my opinion it was much more detailed the 60hz felt it more direct this seems to float which is a bit mellow
Hi stelian! Can I say what settings do you use on your GoPro 12? Like colour profile, shutter speed, iso, if you use stabilization or not etc etc. Please 🙏🏻
Hi buddy I’m on 5.3k 60fps and shutter speed on auto. Wide angle view, flat color which in post add some color grade and stabilization is on stock I think the middle one but I forgot right now how is called 🤛
I’ve shared them in the video buddy! I don’t remember exactly strength I use in the sim which each class cars as I do that on my personal preference how I feel it for each track and car !
@@chepilevski I see a slightly different set of options under the force feedback section in the iRacing options. On your screen the first option is Max force whereas on mine it is Strength (which goes from 0.0 - 14.7) not sure why it's different or what to set that value to?
I’m sure it will have the absolute same impact as it has for the SC2 Pro as they are absolutely equal in 17nm range and below! This is just more saturated clean signal which makes the road effects smoother and more pronounced 🤛
in BeamNG you can chose from 100hz to 2000hz with many option between and i dont see too much change except lower framerate.. But i didnt try too much...
"problem" solved. When 360hz is deactivated, the frequency filter must be activated! When 360hz is activated, the frequency filter does not act in the same way, it is as if the frequency filter was made to be used at 60hz in the case of iracing. I was deactivating 360hz and not activating the frequency filter at 5 again. Final considerations, these 360hz turned on =1 cause a sensation of more data and with that comes this grainy noise, I didn't like it... it just seems more, doesn't it!
Happy to hear you found the problem as i saw you are fighting for days with that! And that’s true, the 360 sends like 6 times more data and I use 5 on the frequency filter to get rid of the noise motor feeling!
I respect and always listen to your opinion. But I would like you to go to the oval, Draft Master. With your settings and drive. And then write to me and many others. How to remove this fraction that occurs in the database. In the GT class there is no such thing. Everything is fine there. But the oval, I ask you to test Draft Master
For my oval use, I am finding that I need to use Smoothing at 3 or 4 in most cases, to remove the "knocking" and chatter in the wheel. It sure is odd that with my old 60hz profile, I was fine using that for all cars in iRacing, including ovals. Not sure what is so different here with 360hz, but I am beginning to think that separate SimPro settings will be needed for oval vs road setups. I don't love that idea, but it may be the solution for now, unless Simagic and/or iRacing figure out what is happening here and make a change.
@@chepilevski that would be great if you can! There seems to be something notably different for oval car use. I have the same basic issue in the ARCA car, Gen4 and 1987 Legends Monte Carlo. With 360hz active, and Smoothing at 0 or 1, there is some serious action and noise in the base. Once on track, the corners with steering input can make a very "mechanical" action that is also noisy and almost feels like something is malfunctioning. Increasing smoothing to 3 at a minimum helps with those cars, and 4 seems to get these cars closer to your regular settings felt in GT cars. Sure is odd and interesting. Can't wait to hear what you fell. Thanks for checking in advance :D
@@kdcustoms1272 FFB force for me does vary between car and track combo. Some I reduce but others I increase, just a matter of using the Auto function in each situation, then I usually dial it down 1-2 clicks on the arrows to be a bit lower. It was BabYaga that mentioned "fraction", so I don't know exactly what they meant by that. If I had to guess, I expect it relates to the "vibrations" many of us feel in the wheel when rolling out of the pits and working the corners with steering wheel input. It has a rather noisy and rough vibration that is very different than felt in the road race cars, while using 0 or 1 on the Smoothness. When I increase Smoothness to 4, this mostly disappears and feels more like the old 60hz action.
I don't understand why you describe it as a boost when you said it doesn't make you faster, that doesn't make any sense. Unless it gives more control which minimizes mistakes?

And i definitely love the Porsche 😁
@@chepilevski yeah makes sense with all the bumps
Do you not get cliping with those iracing settings? I just got a alpha base and copied the same settings in sim pro and iracing but just diled it back for the alpha to 15nm wheel force. And cant run anymore than 9 max force with out cliping. When i use the auto function takes it back to 6nm max force?
For the 15nm and the mini is better to stay higher in the SimPro manager settings!
You can put it down slowly if in game is too strong.
The way I set my is getting clipping only over curbs here and there but have more profound feeling in the small effects on the track🤛
When will this come for Moza ....
Should have bought simagic instead smh. Too late to change it
Hello great !! I keep feeling it strange a little muffled in my opinion it was much more detailed the 60hz felt it more direct this seems to float which is a bit mellow
You probably enjoy more of the direct feeling bro!
Just turn it off and enjoy the 60hz 🤛
Is there something in the ini file where you can feel more of the road? I can't remember what it is but saw it posted before as well
I haven’t seen that before buddy.
Hi stelian! Can I say what settings do you use on your GoPro 12? Like colour profile, shutter speed, iso, if you use stabilization or not etc etc. Please 🙏🏻
Hi buddy
I’m on 5.3k 60fps and shutter speed on auto. Wide angle view, flat color which in post add some color grade and stabilization is on stock I think the middle one but I forgot right now how is called 🤛
@@chepilevski thank you very much for answering on my questions! I think you are a fabulous person!🙏🏻
@@SimPovProject hugs brother 🤗🤗🤗
Has been out a couple days now! Is it any good
It is not huge difference in my opinion but is definitely better 🤛
Hey @chepilevsk what are your in game settings? I'm also using a Simagic Alpha U. Thanks.
I’ve shared them in the video buddy!
I don’t remember exactly strength I use in the sim which each class cars as I do that on my personal preference how I feel it for each track and car !
@@chepilevski so you have! Thanks. I'll give those settings a go.
@@chepilevski I see a slightly different set of options under the force feedback section in the iRacing options. On your screen the first option is Max force whereas on mine it is Strength (which goes from 0.0 - 14.7) not sure why it's different or what to set that value to?
@@lsmanley1978 ah yes, most of us have modified that in the app.ini and choose Nm
@@chepilevski ah, ok - how do I do that? Thanks.
Will this have a big impact on the feeling using a sc2 sport?
I’m sure it will have the absolute same impact as it has for the SC2 Pro as they are absolutely equal in 17nm range and below!
This is just more saturated clean signal which makes the road effects smoother and more pronounced 🤛
Thank you!
in BeamNG you can chose from 100hz to 2000hz with many option between and i dont see too much change except lower framerate..
But i didnt try too much...
I’m not sure if that have to be implemented in the base as well!
Both iRacing and Simagic had to work on this for few months before implementing it!
bro why I can't feel understeer . I tested on the centerPilar track .Nothing is going on in terms of understeer with 911gt3 r
it should be like the wheel got lighter but nothing is seems to happening
@@chepilevski thank you very much!!!
Here are some updated codes for the "Race Beyond Matter" iRacing 360Hz Profiles:
- Mini = FNVJGeC8
- Alpha = Yd6ZHOip
- Ultimate = Mzlqb9ct
@@D.Ploeger Open the “Devices” tab in SimPro Manager.
Click “Import”, enter the code in “Use Share Code”, then click “Import”.
how can we activate the 360hz mode?
It is activated by default if you use the latest Sim Pro manager buddy!
I must test that and try to feel what you mean and then maybe we have to point out the problem to Simagic and iRacing!
@Chader9 I always find myself turning the in game ffb down on ovals with my alpha mini... what do you mean by fraction?
💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
how to setting framrate 360hz
Frame Rate is not connected to the Force Feedback Rate in any way.
The two have nothing to do with each other.
Unless you have an old m10....
🙈 sorry bro ☹️
1st again 😅
😂🤗🤗🍻
You should wear racing overalls
It only took 16 years to implement. 😅
For iRacing is never too late 🤣
I don't understand why you describe it as a boost when you said it doesn't make you faster, that doesn't make any sense. Unless it gives more control which minimizes mistakes?
With boost I meant more detail in the feedback effects buddy.
I don’t think speed will come just from bit more detail from FFB point of view🤛
