thank you for this, i have been having the worst decision paralysis regarding which distortion pedal i need to use 100 of on my next song, really helps to see it demoed out 🙏
Only reason these plugins are sounding “digital ” is mainly because you’re not using a IR loader. Only thing you’re doing is clipping the di signal so much. Using an impulse response will give it more of a real sound and can change the result’s drastically.
the "clamping" effect the distortion mkII makes sounds like something id hear off of the tame impala innerspeaker album lol,,, really dope video and the little audio graphs at the top is a great touch 🔥🔥❤️❤️🔥
Just watched this in the bath. Had a great time, ears hurt a little, my neighbors are knocking at my door… but learned a lot. Isn’t that all we’re meant to do? :)

Honestly, save yourself some trouble. 99 distortions will get you 99% of the way there
@egodipmusic working smarter not harder, love it
100 metal zones
try a metal zone and a ds-1 100x times
if you put a noise filter above all the distortions, you could silence those initials noises that aren't chords or notes
Good idea but I’d rather wreck my eardrums
instant Hanatarash plugin
This’d be great for an Analog Horror that relies too much on jump scares
WHY DOES THE OVERDRIVE SOUND LIKE VOCALOID HAHAHA
You’re like the guitar version of bishu, love this stuff
That last one was just a standard BM tone
fuzz into an overdrive on a clean amp is one of my favorite combos, great for a tone somewhere between Converge and Nails
Just grab a Heavy Metal and run it into a distorted channel. Way easier and more accurate.
@@diabeticmonkey that is definitely true, i just like what i can get from the fuzz and overdrive better
Top notch editing and your reactions had me laughing

So true!! Thanks for the feedback ;)
Fine. I'll watch
Fine, I’ll reply :p
the second one sounds like the first guitar pedal I designed in college... My soldering skills were really bad, so maybe that was the problem 😂
Sounds like you somehow contained the power of 1000 distortions in 1 pedal
@egodipmusic It was supposed to be a fuzz but it was sooooo so much more. then it self destructed 🤣
...I love that you did this
your videos are so fun !!!

Neighbors knocking at your bathroom door? That’s odd.
so you are a noise musician now
It’s all noise to me, buddy 😋
Whoa that's sick 😎
Achoo
Damn dude I like this thought🙀🎸
Sounds like me with 2 distortion pedals haha.
A pedal in the hand is worth 2 in the….eh never mind
💕
This begs the question...why?
Why not?
Well, I've got my tone for my industrial project. Thanks. BTW, you know more chords than me, and I've been playing for over 20 years.
Thanks, as long as you don’t ask me what their names are lol
