outstanding. the amount of detail in those scenes is incredible. you can actually feel the emotion of Darth Vader in the winter scene as he is holding the light saber. the only thing that is missing, would have been the music from the cartoon.
Fantastic work!! That ending of Clone Wars was giving me gosebumbs, and your dioramas brought it back. Today we can se the first episode of The Bad Batch, and i hope you get inspired to do a diorama :)
@@KathyMillatt Hehe yeah same with me. I've got a video this week going up discussing Blender specifically coincidentally. But yea, you've clearly got some great 3D modelling skills. Really comes in handy with these 3D printers and the hobby as you've demonstrated amazingly!
Thanks. Can’t wait to see that video. I’m trying to design a mech at the moment but that’s a real back burner project. Just getting workable joints is the first hurdle!
Hi Kathy, another stunning diorama, and really poignant, you've really captured that sense of loss that inevitably comes with war, who would have thought a diorama could convey so much emotion, you are truly an artist, stay safe all the best from Scotland, Stephen
I started tearing up as you explained Ahsoka's relationship with the Clones she lead into the last battle. The painstaking detail of you doing each helmet hurt more. Sometimes I lose patience while I'm coloring in my Ahsoka drawings. I won't lose patience again after this. Amazing.
Ty for the time and effort into this miss, I'm 23 and I'm a huge star wars fan, seeing the episode was so heart wrenching and you recreating it, took me back to the first time I watched it. I applauded thee.
When you said ‘I’m not happy with her face’ I was expecting it to look a bit rubbish when you showed her as is almost unavoidable working so small. But then you showed the face and it’s actually really really good 😂
When i was watching the scene, seeing all of the helmets on the sticks.. that broke me. I went into tears. A beautiful, and sad moment for the people watching 😢
When you talk about difficultly regarding the painting... *laughs in warhammer 40k miniatures* no but seriously absolutely amazing job it’s absolutely gorgeous and so brilliant! Love it.
its so hard watching the final scenes when you know what those men were going through and what they ment to ahsoka what they meant to us it always makes me cry its beautiful you did a great job on this and the ahsoka face is great
This is the saddest scene in the entire saga so far, and I'm glad you put so much care into recreating it. I wish you also could have included Rex packing the Y Wing having just buried his entire platoon, because it was his moment as well as Ahsoka's, but for what you did it captures the moment perfectly.
Thanks for the traumatic flash backs to one of the saddest moments in star wars. Asokas troops, her friends. All gone except for rex..burried left to be forgotten.
I liked this when you first posted it, but now that I’ve watched clone wars completely, this diorama transports me back emotionally to the ending. You were spot on with it!
Absolutely stunning! The Force is strong with this one! Well-chosen scene for a diorama. It's such a sad, heart-rending moment in the Clone Wars series and a harrowing but still beautiful way to end the series. Well done!
TCW was my part of my pre-adolescent & teenage yrs, watching it every Saturday during dinner, especially with Ahsoka being my fictional idol even to this day. Then being cancelled for 8 yrs, and returning to wrap up what was a long awaited end to the tragic story of CW, just in time for my final yr in university and to give closure to a great series and my child/teenhood. So seeing a diorama for what is such an important, tear-jerking and irl poignant (to me from wt I said before) moment in the series gave me a tear in my eye. Thanks for making such a beautiful moment into a diorama!
Absolutely breathtaking, thank you so much for sharing this with us. Your attention to detail is top notch and your love for Star Wars clearly is shown.
I’m here from Luke’s channel. I started with this video because I love the Clone Wars. This scene was perfect. The lighting, the scenery, details like helmet placement, and Kevin Kiner’s wonderful score (Victory and Death) Your attention to detail is fantastic. Wonderful diorama. I am in awe
A couple of months ago, I started watching RUclipsrs assembling plastic models. Preferably Star Wars models, since I am a fan. As time went by my feed started to show channels that featured people making sceneries. And suddenly your channel appeared. I’ve seen a lot of different sceneries that has made me go “Wow!” But this is the first time I really felt a story being told. A story that made an emotional impact on me. “You bow to no one.” 🙇♂️ Just great. ✨👌✨
Thank you - it was such an emotional scene to watch and I am so glad I captured that for you. Stories are so important and that is why I like modelling scenes from movies that everyone can immediately identify with.
Been a Star Wars fan my whole life, since the original movies came out. These are amazing, and the detail down to the footprints...... is just astounding. Love um 😁🥰
Wow just wow that is amazing looking. Thank you for not only sharing the final product but showing how you built them. This inspires me to dive into making dioramas more to compliment my custom figures.
Nooooooo........... it can't be over! Great job Kathy and what a great way to end the series. These came out amazing and are a lasting tribute to Clone Wars. The figures are fantastic (although I would like to see some more shadows and highlights in their clothing)! Thanks for sharing 👍
Being Ex Military I make a fair few military dioramas but I tell you what, your Star Wars dioramas are beautiful, you now have me thinking of doing something different and giving this a try, thank you so much for sharing and please keep them coming ;) 👍🏻🇦🇺
Wow, your skills and attention to detail are incredible. I always get choked up at this ending scene of the Clone Wars, it's so powerful and emotional. Your dioramas put me right back in there. You nailed it, well done!
I'm constantly impressed by your skill set. Learning to create a viable image in Blender is hard enough, and you did that AND created yet another amazing diorama. Absolutely love you work!
Love this. Such a powerful scene in the show and a great end to such a long journey. I think the only thing that would’ve been cooler would be capturing the lightsaber falling out of Ahsoka’s hand rather than already being on the ground
Wow this was incredible! Loved both of them…. I used to do model building just getting back into it again after many years… I wish I knew more about doing the 3D printing… I just love making things by hand… I’ve been considering making an Ashoka from a monster high doll for a diorama. Thanks for the video.. just subscribed!
Not a massive Stars Wars fan (yeah, I know ... sorry ...) so not seen this film, but that's terrific work again. Looks like you could do with getting some finer brushes for some of the detail painting, though. I was watching some videos by a German modeller, and he was painting HO figures, and had a 5-O brush, something I've not come across (I used to trim down OOO brushes with a scalpel for painting men's braces, ties and buttons on HO figures).
Absolutely the best part of this day for me !!!. Really love that you knew the lore and LEKKU so many people don't know that about Ahsoka lol. Atched the whole thing with a smile on my face. The added inspiration from Galactic Armory and Boylei are like a dream come true. Love your work Kathy. May the 4th be with you.!!!
Hi Kathy .... Oooowwww the lovely " Rivet Counters" ... there's always one. Wow, absolute wow .... Full stop!!!! Hope you and your family are all well and haven't been affected to much with this Covid. Stay safe flower. Steve
Thanks Steve. So true! We’ve all been fine. Working from home means it’s hard to tell the difference between lockdown and not, I just model regardless! Hope you and yours are well too. Kathy
I honestly cried when I was telling my partner why I've been hesitant to watch the last season of clone wars. Just giving context for the clones painting they're helmets then talking about how order 66 happens during, the dam broke
Fantastic work as always. Quick tip for resin cleanup. If you put the figure/piece into hot water before curing, the supports will come straight off without the need for filing (or clipping!). Be careful though and don't go ripping everything off! Have removed smaller pieces by accident by rushing cleanup.
"I'm not too happy with the Ahsoka face."

That is so cool! Glad my files could be a part of it
