"I should have planned that better before I started cutting..." Thank god incredible artists such as yourself let us in on the human side of things. I'm sitting there thinking that you know exactly what you're doing every step of the way and that the turret flying away was part of your master plan.
I was thinking about the same... "Oh, is he trying to simulate the damage naturally by letting those loose parts fly away on their own when cutting the hull? So clever!"
Your little explanation of how Luke managed to cut the AT-ST realistically honestly made me love this video all the more!! Brilliant, imaginative idea as always - you're a genius.
Fantastic idea and execution. I just missed the two at-st pilots, I would have liked one with an expression of terror and the other seeing Luke from the inside.
you could paint the glow that hot metal(the cross section) with fluorescent red and hide an UV led in each shell sides, it would make it even more fantastic.
Questioning the realistic-ness of Luke going through an AT-ST in one slice would be a nice debate for Star Wars fans. But I think if you just say, "because he's Luke Skywalker", many fans would accept that. ;-)
Starkiller from the Force Unleashed games did something like that a few times He cut the back or front of it when he jumped up and then again when he landed resulting in cutting it in two
Maaan, I'm sooo happy you did a force unleashed inspired diorama! It was one of my absolute FAVORITE star wars games growing up, I still play it from time to time, I think it still holds up. You captured the vibe so well 🤌🤌✨
Fantastic, as always. I'm blown away by not just the skill you show on the model itself, but by your ingenuity creating additional tools such as the circle cutting jig. You have mastered many disciplines, bravo.
Wow! Thank you for making my Sunday cooler! In my opinion I liked the detail on the ground and rocks because it is very realistic. I can’t wait for future projects.
I've been watching your channel for a while now. ( years ), and this is one of my favorites. Your skills have improved tremendously since this. Maybe it's time to revisit this. Thank you for all your content.
"To create the texture I'm looking for." Just realized this is a classic pun. This relates to, "This is not the droid you're looking for" as you can assume. Great job man! Videos are amazing.
Amazing work! You should do one of Captain Fordo from the Clone Wars shooting his pistol and rifle. I think that would look awesome. Love watching every week!
Beautiful. The paint for the cut part of the AT-ST worked quite well. I also very enjoyed your realistic way that Luke would have done this. Very easily pictured it in my head as you were saying it.
Perhaps to make the cuts glow you could have used fluorescent paint, then used some clever light placement to put some black light LEDs to make it glow and shine?
Hard-core star wars fan I mean from the womb I knew what the force was lol but real talk the reality of him cutting it in half don't even matter when your the bad ass making the diorama and it actually turns out like a 5 star exhibit I don't think we care we just appreciate the fact that you brought it to life...all we do as fans is siti around talking what if's so my brother thank you don't trip just keep this work comin don't stop...
Come on, I say Luke did it in one shot, he is THAT good. Maybe you should use Corran Horn (Expanded Universe version), he had a light saber with two crystals that could telescope out to the size of a claymore at least. Also, awesome work.
@@moirahorton5167 With most quick cuts yeah they tend to be clean, but with something large like this where the lightsaber would be dragged through youd get rough damage on the edges. You can see this in that scene in TPM when qui-gon cuts through the door in the beginning, the metal melts around the lightsaber.
@@Lornext I hate to give anything akin to praise towards the sequels but they're technically correct that the Disney trilogy is canon due to the fact that the lore legally belongs to them, as they purchased Star War's intellectual property and thus can call the shots on what is and isn't "canon"
WOW MAN! This model is just awe... wait for it... some! would be hard to find a place to give it the spotlight what it desires. Well well done, would buy it 10/10!
Wow! Can I just say wow! I have never played The force unleashed, but this diorama is so realistic. Luke looks great and the painting is awesome. This deserves a standing O.
incredible work! love that AT-ST finishing move myself! I snatched up one of those model kits not too long ago, your video gave me some suggestions on how to approach my diorama!
This turned out really nice. God job hiding the wires. One thought I had about that... if there was more brush/grass in the diorama, the brush/grass could been more around him and right up to and next to his right hand, with the wire running straight down through in the brush/grass.
i love the concept and the work. I would have added a few things: 1. A couple LEDs inside the AT-AT... as if an engine were red-hot (burning up) or weapon overload. 2. Hollowed out Lukes arm and backside to embed the wires, then epoxy to fill and repaint.
When I saw the thumb, I thought, "this had better have a perfectly recreated version of Luke's saber, but super tiny!" Glorious.
Father North.
yoooo north recongize me pls, love ur vids.

It's luke, he is one of the best jedi ever, unlike Marey sue.
Starkiller from the Force Unleashed games did something like that a few times
He cut the back or front of it when he jumped up and then again when he landed resulting in cutting it in two
well, if he tried.
In the books, luke made his lightsaber with the ability to extend it out a lot further
@@schmorb Darth Vader can also extend the length of his red lightsaber.
This is so cool! The terrain is so simple but looks so good. It was really relaxing to watch. Love that you completely detailed Luke's lightsaber!
made my day. thank you.
I have a crush on you-
oh, nice
man of culture
The painting inside of the AT-ST really looks like it's been light sabered, the whole thing looks amazing.
What if you'd use a luminsecent paint on the cut lines?
This!
That would be awesome
Was thinking the same, also maybe some weathering/dirt on the outside
An some melted slag, dropping to the floor.
How about two troppers inside checking to see if they have all their limbs.
Amazing !!!

Great work
I have watched so many of your videos and only just realised the intro spells ‘boylei’ 😂😂
Amazing work as per usual too!
bruhhh
Same here!!! LOL!
......I never noticed until you said something. 😳
"I should have planned that out better" 😂😂 Such a cool concept, and I love how you explain the way Luke could have done this. So fun to watch! Thanks!
if the diorama doesnt explain it visually, the diorama is a failure.
I love how you can capture the essence of an epic motion scene with a still model
The drivers of that AT-ST are going to be in Imperial therapy for the next ten trilogies. ;P
Fantastic, as always. I'm blown away by not just the skill you show on the model itself, but by your ingenuity creating additional tools such as the circle cutting jig. You have mastered many disciplines, bravo.
Love seeing Luke at full power!
This isn't even his final form!
His final form he drinks furry midget milk
Huge Metal Gear Rising energy from this, and I love it.
You have a great imagination and the ability to turn your visions into reality! Another great build!
Wow! Thank you for making my Sunday cooler! In my opinion I liked the detail on the ground and rocks because it is very realistic. I can’t wait for future projects.
Galen Marek (Starkiller) : Wait, that's my move!

This one of your coolest builds, amazing as always. Look forward to the next episode.
Yesss force unleashed!!! played soo much of it!! this art piece was aaaaamazing
If that orange paint is UV reactive, you could put a UV LED in each half of the walker and it would glow?
"To create the texture I'm looking for." Just realized this is a classic pun. This relates to, "This is not the droid you're looking for" as you can assume. Great job man! Videos are amazing.
Yea Luke’s been playing force unleashed lmao. Very nice man
Sorry for the long wait....That is truly AWSOME!!!!WOW!!! Do so enjoy Sunday mornings newest upload thanx bub.
This is art, appreciate it!!!!
Awesome detailing - thanks for sharing! Love the custom work you put in to this.
Well, what a coincidence, I just replayed the force unleashed a few days ago.
Appreciate it
Might be best one yet! Stunning!
Amazing work! You should do one of Captain Fordo from the Clone Wars shooting his pistol and rifle. I think that would look awesome. Love watching every week!
Now that is THE best diorama I have ever seen. So much action, so much of a story told there. I love it!
Man you work at such at high standard every single time!
Incredible job on your star wars diorama ,Luke cutting through that atatWalker is awsome.
AT-ST driver: "Do you hear something?"
In the distance, muffled sounds of "Rules of Nature" grow louder.
Beautiful. The paint for the cut part of the AT-ST worked quite well. I also very enjoyed your realistic way that Luke would have done this. Very easily pictured it in my head as you were saying it.
RULES OF NATURE
Yeeessss! So cool. That light filament is so perfect and just ties it all together so nicely. Great craftsmanship Dude.
He made multiple passes? Okay, Luke must have learned form IV from Yoda.
Nice clean cut Luke! Good job
If Rey can backflip and de wing Kylo Emo, then Luke could cut this with his mind!
Emo Ren.
Ha ha so funny
EU/Legends Luke Skywalker >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Rey "The Bestest Eva" Palpatine (She is NOT a Skywalker)
@@dboymax1 truly, she tarnishes the name skywalker with her false claims.

This is crazy. Great job man keep it up.
How Rian Johnson thinks the fans wanna see Luke: A hermit who's lost all hope and is hiding in fear.
How the fans ACTUALLY wanna see Luke:

He'd need a extra long lightsaber to actually do it tho, unless he has the time it takes to cut a pumpkin with a regular steak knife
That's really cool! I've never played the Force Unleashed but I love the idea of being able to cut an AT-ST in half with a lightsaber!

Luke and Vader can extend their lightsabers.
Your diorama work is next level! Thank you for sharing it with us.
Looks amazing! Id suggest a bit more damage (melted metal, weathering) along the cut as it looks a bit too clean.
You have that keen eye, also...good. I'm not the only one.👁
@@charlesfuentes3695 yeah hahah, it looks good but that detail I think would really seal the illusion that he's torn right through that thing
I don't know, in the movies everything looks pretty clean cut by a light saber.

Should have left some or the roughness from the bandsaw for melting metal.

Better story than the whole disney "non-canon" trilogy.
