Quick Tip: when drilling through wood- use some painters tape on the front surface you are drilling into, it will prevent splitting and create a cleaner edge.
Exactly what I had said in an earlier comment. Base it on the Duel of Kenobi/Vader fight...in SW Reimagined. They used a frame inspired by McCrorey. (If you were to freeze it, it looks alot like the painting. I'm sure that shot was what inspired the Fandom.) "Most Impressive."
@@Boylei hey I gotten stuck in 2:13 where I was wondering what wire you used to solder in the R and + area and the usb as well was the usb the plug that came with the tape and you acto knife the plugs for the wires to work?
Thank you for those inspiring Tutorials. your Modells and Dioramas are awesome. i searched for the LED Filaments in Germany and finaly today i found some. I'm a Hobby Restorer and (for myself) i build Modelltrain Plattforms. This LED Filaments would be interesting for Neon Signs on Buildings (perhaps Movie Theater or Thongs like that) i will try to experiment a few Ideas. Thanks for your Inspiration and Crativity Greeting Doc.Reubitz
Oh wow! I didn't know those LED filaments existed. I just did a mod to my Obi Wan Mythos statue using a cold cathode tube, but that sort of burnt out in just a week of being on. I bet these LEDs have a longer shelf life.
Beautiful work and incredible idea for the saber. I made my own version inspired in yours using the led filament, fabrics and a total of fifteen leds more.
I might have to give this a shot sometime. Though as soon as I saw that the model kit came with a helmetless head as well, I instantly thought of making a battle-damaged version from the force unleashed. Excellent video man!
Really awesome job in making these lightsaber.. i'm not really familiar with working with diode, can you pls give a link to where and what kind of diode you used in making these. Thank you..
Soooo! awsome I’m a big Vader fan and this diorama is sick. Bro keep doing what your doing I’m a big fan and I WANT THIS DIORAMA! I’m going to have to try.
That is just Cool. I'm a big Darth Vader fan. I have a 31" Darth Vader figure I picked up. I think that would look cool with a light sabre in his hand.
Haha, thats exactly what i ment :D i hope you will make many more projects from cloud city! right with this showcase i remembered the suprice from +20 years ago that vader was in cloud city how scary the whole film afterwards was! just a amazing work! almost looks like everyone could do it but is missing the right ideas you have.. :) Would love to see a bigger stage where Admiral Akbar realized "its a trap!" :D Love your videos! ♥
Awesome work, I’d love to see some millennium falcon - tie fighter action with blasters using those led strips! By the way, you should definitely look into 3D printing if you haven’t already!
Awesome! This is my favorite since the Boba Fett Slave 1 scene you did. You do amazing work. This may be the best yet. Keep the hits coming...Would love to win one of these
Would have been cool to finish it by putting it in a clear acrylic box. It maybe would accentuate the lights even more and add some protection.. Since the light saber sticks outward, for creative effect maybe burn a hole through the clear acrylic case as if the light saber did it, giving it a space to stick out from. Overall pretty neat.
resistance is measured in ohm ... not volts ;) but the diodes do drop +/- 0,6 volts, so you do get the end result you wanted (5 - 1, 6 = 3,4) if you knew how many amperes the light needed you could use ohm's law to calculate what kind of resistance you'd need to do the same
Aw, I thought I was gonna be the first to pull off this little trick... Oh well. Is cool that there are 3V strips now, though, so far I've mostly been getting light bulb strips that use higher voltage.
Hello~U amazing! I'm a Korean who likes Star Wars. I've only painted Bandai products so far, but I was so impressed with your video that I did the LED work for'Tire Advance' for the first time. Can you do it?
hey thank you for doing this for me
Your schwartz is stronger then mine!
I am truly jealous. Wish I had one.

Came for the cool idea, stay for the stop motion, flashy editing, buttery smooth voice and CLEAN finish

It was funny to see the flaccid noodle saber
It's natural at his age once in a while
I’m fucking crying laughing
That’s actually canon, it’s called a light whip. Almost entirely impractical, though.
@@kesselsauer4441 Bane's apprentice didn't find it impractical at all lol
Reminded me of family guy with the old man fighting with a limp blue saber
Those shots of the light reflecting off Vader are terrifyingly beautiful. Well done piece of art.
The artistry you and others put into stuff like this is really amazing. Seriously blown away by some of the pieces I've seen here on YT.
The way you’ve made the base here is genius! It looks so good.
That looks crazily awesome - The red reflections in the armor at the end is absolutely spectacular
That filament is great! Not just for lightsabers but alot of other things.
By far one of the coolest things if seen from Bandai and some handy hands. Great work.
See I can make one my self with no led experience. :)
That’s freaking awesome! Great Job!
So awesome! The pattern of that metal sheet is a perfect fit for Vader/Empire/Bespin! Great Job!
Wow, now that you have the flexible led, you can one day do a darth maul, or vader and Obi-Wan fighting. Its just awesome.

That is magnificent mate, that diorama really shows how Darth Vader is truly menacing.

It's a simple figurine just standing there, but the lightsaber and the floor light make it so much better
Your videos are beyond compare to editing, content, and just epicness in general
Danke für den tollen Tipp mit den Filament Dioden. So etwas hab ich schon so lange gesucht.
That turned out really awesome!!! Darth would be proud!
Love the illuminated grating! The ultimate way to display Vader! Another awesome build Caleb!

Excited for that upcoming Boba project!
Another nice model good job 👍..... It would be translucent acrylic.... not opaque ,opaque does not allow any light through
Perhaps he meant to say opal.
that perforated sheet blew my mind, ordering some now lol
Beautiful and inspiring work as always!
Absolutely genius! I wish I had the skills to make the electrics like you do, but alas I can’t.
you can if you watch enough if this guys videos :)
