#StarWars #Vader #Tutorial
A few months ago, I made a book nook featuring Vader in the hallway from Rogue One. I used an LED filament from a high voltage lightbulb to create the lit lightsaber effect. This is obviously quite dangerous so I waited until I had a safer, low voltage option to put out a tutorial for you all. Many of you asked, so here it is. Thanks for your patience! I hope you enjoy and go on to make little lightsabers to your heart’s content.
These lightsabers are at the 1:12 scale which will fit with Bandai figure kits and 6” Hasbro Black Series figures. If you have any questions, let me know in the comments and I’ll help how I can!

hey thank you for doing this for me
Your schwartz is stronger then mine!
I am truly jealous. Wish I had one.
@@paulaneary7877 just ask him maby he will
Came for the cool idea, stay for the stop motion, flashy editing, buttery smooth voice and CLEAN finish
Quick Tip: when drilling through wood- use some painters tape on the front surface you are drilling into, it will prevent splitting and create a cleaner edge.
It was funny to see the flaccid noodle saber
It's natural at his age once in a while
I’m fucking crying laughing
That’s actually canon, it’s called a light whip. Almost entirely impractical, though.
@@kesselsauer4441 Bane's apprentice didn't find it impractical at all lol
Reminded me of family guy with the old man fighting with a limp blue saber
Those shots of the light reflecting off Vader are terrifyingly beautiful. Well done piece of art.
That looks crazily awesome - The red reflections in the armor at the end is absolutely spectacular
So awesome! The pattern of that metal sheet is a perfect fit for Vader/Empire/Bespin! Great Job!
The artistry you and others put into stuff like this is really amazing. Seriously blown away by some of the pieces I've seen here on YT.
Seriously impressive stuff, I'd try this and it would end up looking like Darth Vaders cremated ashes.
I'd try this and my house would end up looking like Darth Vaders cremated ashes :(
my block would look like darth vader's cremated ashes.
@@user-gu1ed1kb8x my state already looks like darth vaders cremated ashes
@@comradedog7144 You live in Cali?
This is probably the coolest thing I’ve seen in a long ass time!!!!
That’s freaking awesome! Great Job!
Amazing, enjoy your videos. Thank you for what you do.
Wow, now that you have the flexible led, you can one day do a darth maul, or vader and Obi-Wan fighting. Its just awesome.
Exactly what I had said in an earlier comment. Base it on the Duel of Kenobi/Vader fight...in SW Reimagined. They used a frame inspired by McCrorey. (If you were to freeze it, it looks alot like the painting. I'm sure that shot was what inspired the Fandom.) "Most Impressive."
Never ceases to amaze me
Simply amazing! I love your work!
This looks awesome. I like the idea of using an old picture frame as a base.
Absolutely incredible. Wow. Great job!
That filament is great! Not just for lightsabers but alot of other things.
Beautiful and inspiring work as always!
The way you’ve made the base here is genius! It looks so good.
That turned out really awesome!!! Darth would be proud!
Great job, you don’t disappoint.
By far one of the coolest things if seen from Bandai and some handy hands. Great work.
See I can make one my self with no led experience. :)
This couldn’t have come at a better time. I’m going to try this
That is magnificent mate, that diorama really shows how Darth Vader is truly menacing.
Really nice and an awesome result. Love it!
A beautiful piece, my friend!
Wow!! Awesom!!
Man, I'm your fan!!!
You make the best dioramas!!!
This is amazing! I really appreciate the how to instructions and list of where you bought them. 👍👍
I love the little animations!
Your videos are beyond compare to editing, content, and just epicness in general
Beautiful work and incredible idea for the saber. I made my own version inspired in yours using the led filament, fabrics and a total of fifteen leds more.
Outstanding! - and thank you for the product links. I have previously searched for those things and failed to find them.
Fantastic diorama with Darth Vader and the electronic part is extraordinary , wow !
🥇🏆🙂👍👏👏👏
Nice work. I appreciate seeing the problem solving as you go.
This... is... AWESOME! Well done!
Love your videos and reddit posts. You are incredibly imaginative!
Very awesome indeed! I learn something every build.

Amazing work, you are a master at your craft.
Excited for that upcoming Boba project!
Wow glad I found this I've been fighting with a model I have trying to figure out a good way to light the saber. Thank you!
This is the best gift!!!

Dude, you are so awesome! I'm learning so much from you!
Ooh sick!
Danke für den tollen Tipp mit den Filament Dioden. So etwas hab ich schon so lange gesucht.
Love the illuminated grating! The ultimate way to display Vader! Another awesome build Caleb!
This is amazing man 👏🏼👏🏼 well done
Amazing as always
That is amazing. I have to try
Amazed by this
I might have to give this a shot sometime. Though as soon as I saw that the model kit came with a helmetless head as well, I instantly thought of making a battle-damaged version from the force unleashed. Excellent video man!
Soooo! awsome I’m a big Vader fan and this diorama is sick. Bro keep doing what your doing I’m a big fan and I WANT THIS DIORAMA! I’m going to have to try.
Another fantastic build! Sharing on The Awesomer.
That's so cool love it!!!!
Niceeeee👍👍
Thank you for those inspiring Tutorials. your Modells and Dioramas are awesome.
i searched for the LED Filaments in Germany and finaly today i found some.
I'm a Hobby Restorer and (for myself) i build Modelltrain Plattforms. This LED Filaments would be
interesting for Neon Signs on Buildings (perhaps Movie Theater or Thongs like that) i will try to experiment
a few Ideas. Thanks for your Inspiration and Crativity

Your videos are my favourite things to watch at 3AM haha! Another awesome project! Keep it up.
Impressive....most impressive.
Awesome! This is my favorite since the Boba Fett Slave 1 scene you did. You do amazing work. This may be the best yet. Keep the hits coming...Would love to win one of these
Simple and amazing!
Oh wow! I didn't know those LED filaments existed. I just did a mod to my Obi Wan Mythos statue using a cold cathode tube, but that sort of burnt out in just a week of being on. I bet these LEDs have a longer shelf life.
Very nice and instructive. 😊 🙏
Amazing job, as always!
So cool!
need a DARTH MAUL v !!! amazing work
Fantastic!!
Awesome job!!
Cool idea Vader looks awesome
Haha, thats exactly what i ment :D
i hope you will make many more projects from cloud city!
right with this showcase i remembered the suprice from +20 years ago that vader was in cloud city how scary the whole film afterwards was!
just a amazing work!
almost looks like everyone could do it but is missing the right ideas you have.. :)
Would love to see a bigger stage where Admiral Akbar realized "its a trap!" :D
Love your videos! ♥
I never thought it possible but you outdo yourself on each build. I hope you get sponsorship for your amazing talents.
Thanks, Medic Man. I appreciate it!
@@Boylei hey I gotten stuck in 2:13 where I was wondering what wire you used to solder in the R and + area and the usb as well was the usb the plug that came with the tape and you acto knife the plugs for the wires to work?
Man you do some amazing work.
The force is strong with this one.

Still not entirely sure how I came across this channel but I'm certainly glad it happened none the less.
This is cool!
The Force is strong with this one!
impressive, most impressive!
Awesome!!! I love your videos
Amazing!
It's a simple figurine just standing there, but the lightsaber and the floor light make it so much better
Way cool👍😎, gave me some great ideas.
Really cool! 👍
You deserve way more subs. Subscribed today and going through all of your videos getting a lot of ideas!
Thank you! That’s kind of you to say. Glad you’re finding inspiration!
Awesome! Thank you. I was to see if I can do this with 3 3/4 inch action figures.
Absolutely genius! I wish I had the skills to make the electrics like you do, but alas I can’t.
you can if you watch enough if this guys videos :)
That is just Cool. I'm a big Darth Vader fan. I have a 31" Darth Vader figure I picked up. I think that would look cool with a light sabre in his hand.
I like how you did the assembly of the figure with stop motion. I did a similar video of a bandai clone trooper. but I added Transformer sounds to it.
Ace mate 😁👌
I love your videos
cool work, man!
