Wow now that's a two-handed sword! I can only dream of having the skill to make a piece of steel end up that straight. I can barely cut wood that straight. As always, your ability to grind a straight line amaze me. mmYour intros and production are improving with every video, and you started with grade A. You seem to challenge yourself with each new creation. Keep it up!
It should be side by side with the OG at the museum! If they don't buy it from you, maybe as a loan? It would be epic if people can see the original "restored" to new life
@@freerkwieringa275 Love your work man. Your videos are my favorite Black smith content too. That boars head Kopis blade is one of my favorite pummels you’ve made. I don’t know if you’re familiar with Warhammer 40k but there’s a character named Angron who has a demonic executioner type blade that I think you would make look absolutely EPIC… if you felt like it anyway. I wish you well sir and thanks for sharing your passion with us here on RUclips.
Why I jackhammered a hole in my floor and put my quench tank down in it. See so many running up stairs or climbing up a ladder.. that'll be a big NOPE_
Great video, great sword. Illustrates technical challenges caused by the size of the blade and their crreative resolution (but climbing the ladder with red-hot 2,5 meter blade is not a good or safe practice for craftsman, that's what the apprentices are for :) ). However your version is of much better quality than the original, since the prototype sword was not intended for combat: it was made exclusively for sword bearing religious processions in early 15 century and was associated with Grutte Pier much later, probably in 17 century.
I absolutely love that you cut to showing what is normally off-camera to show what's behind the work. World class, man. Good job!

Hell of an endeavor to recreate such a legendary sword

I would love to see Shaquille O'Neal handle that sword. I bet it looks normal sized in his hands. 😂

How much do you want for that sword?!
good work, however the hands guard seems excessively big

Damn that's a big sword. BTW, this actually featured on Forged in Fire, which is likely were your client heard of it. Also, First!🎉

Оружие Царей! Только жаль одно: Затронный меч устрашения, но работало безотказно. Спасибо за частичку настоящей Истории.
