You often review/give impressions of fragrances that are nowhere on my radar. I’ve always appreciated that about your channel. That’s how you broaden your horizons, and discover the real gems in the fragrance world. And of course I always appreciate your candor. That aside, Ouverture was not on my radar, but now I’m thinking I may have to get a decant to test out this autumn. A solid first impression and an intriguing note breakdown - sounds like a potential winner! P.S. In another recent video, you mentioned that while it’s rarely the focal point, blackcurrant can be an excellent primary note when done well. Could you please recommend 2-3 fragrances that really showcase blackcurrant? It’s not a note that I have much experience with, and I’d love to sample a few! Merci beaucoup!
Yea I was a little surprised that hardly anyone has spoken about it, but alas the Xerjoff hype is based on only what the brand gives to the influencers.
I bougth mine 100ml for 140 USD BNIB, so it is worth it, as we can see the new designer releases. It is not bad, not my favourite from the brand, it is totally worth for a discounted price.
It's a good fruity fragrance. On my the fig is proeminent. Xerjoff just like any house has it's hits and mister, Casamoratti being the line that i enjoy the most. I also sugest you try Amabile, an green apple-cardamom combo.
I started my collection of Xerjoff's with Renaissance and Naxos. Both great fragrances. But lately, I find Renaissance very synthetic. The more niche i try, the more synthetic it seams. A great starter fragrance, but it doesn't really do it for me anymore. The Torino 21 and 22 are still loves of mine, and Tony Iommi Monkey Spesial is, well, Spesial.
I've def. been working hard to get some content out. Also I got another mega haul from Fragflex (which this was a part of) and I want to double up and get these done asap to go back to my regular programming.
This is one of my favorites from the brand. I got it at fragrancebuy for 112USD a couple years ago. There wasn't a lot of press on this one, but I liked the note breakdown. It's heavy cinnamon and slight Incense with the florals. It's not fruity like the other fuzzy bottle options
Haha, you are funny. What is even more funny is that I have purchased the same bottle like in 2022, with the fluff exterior and it was also leaking and the crimp from the sprayer was off .. Not what you expect from an expensive brand.
Now that's interesting, love seeing a different take and now you have my interest on sniffing it again. I did get some of the fresher notes near the end of the review a bit, some of the magnolia and ylang.
Underrated fragrance, imo. Quite well done. I enjoy this house.
Yea, after I uploaded this I wanted to see who reviewed it. Not too many tbh.

A favorite from the house. I really like this one. It is interesting. Also very very overlooked with zero hype.

Yea when you see a Xerjoff cheaper or close to designer prices they start looking real good lol
@@robes08 the real question is what is happening with the designers, their pricing is ridicilous...

Great video and I enjoyed it and I'm going to try it and have a blessed day
Thank you! You too!
You welcome keep up the good work and thank you very much GOD BLESS 🙏
You’d be surprised but Demi hyped this one a year ago. One of her favorite from Xerjoff.
Not really surprised as her and Xerjoff have a long standing free bottle agreement.
Marc is the busiest man in the game . Marc you been grinding .
Recently when I've been getting a new fragrance. I'd like to see if he's done some kind of review on it.
I've def. been working hard to get some content out. Also I got another mega haul from Fragflex (which this was a part of) and I want to double up and get these done asap to go back to my regular programming.
Appreciate it my friend!

LET'S GO GET EM' AGAIN, and Go Eagles 💪 🦅
Excellent fragrance. I like xerjoff in general. There are some excellent releases, and they have some flops, but every house has flops

Cheers Marc , great video yet again, I like this house on the discounted sites , however I wouldn’t pay the piper directly lol 😝. 💪🤛👊
Bren's too smart for those retail prices. That's my guy!
Marc, try BDK Oud Abramad. A good one!
Not bdk 🤢
I was not a fan of the brand but I do need to revisit.
@@robes08 I'm not a fan either, but this one has something extra, especially in the drydown. After about 5 hours a beautiful castoreum appears.
Hey, have you reviewed anything from the house of Argos?
It is called "Ouverture".
It is
@@robes08 yeah, couldn't find it on Parfumo, but one from Amouage "Overture". Too many perfumes with too similar names ^^
I am mad I didn't grab this one 🤯🤯 for the perfect price
I'm sure with patience you'll find it again.
For me this is a fig perfume. A darker take on something like fico di amalfi but still bright enough that I like to wear in spring/fall
Now that's interesting, love seeing a different take and now you have my interest on sniffing it again. I did get some of the fresher notes near the end of the review a bit, some of the magnolia and ylang.
dickens cider brand cider?
never drank that brand.
@@robes08 dickens cider is really good
You seem like a double Dickens type of commenter.
👏
✊
he is starting to babble like Ashton does
Take that back, right now!!! Never compare me to that sell out. Where's the time out button for subs?
@@robes08 lol how did he sell out?
