I love Vibrato! We don’t have to agree at all. Appreciate your perspective. But I also love Tygar 😅. So make sense right? And I ended up buying Vibrato before the hype train, because I sampled Tygar first, Bought Alexandria’s Black Panther and heard Vibrato was a powdery and floral take on Tygar. It’s been my signature scent on 110°+ days because it lasts and smells fresh to me! Thanks for the honest review! May I recommend letting it sit for a month or 2? My bottle did not smell smooth when I first bought back in the day, and remember almost trading/selling it then tried it months later and boom, it was far smoother and also stayed fresh all day.
@@ivantrudeau8974 for me, it would be a tie between Vibrato and Black Panther. Tygar is amazing but does not last long, black Panther takes care of that. I also have Bravanzo Vestige which is a vibrato clone , and while it’s good, it’s harsh and does come off like a cleaning solution for the first 30 min or so.
don't let me sway you honestly, I think it's a big SAMPLE niche product imo. As you can tell from my comments sections lots of people dislike it after sniffing it so tread carefully, I think it's worth a sniff to see what you think but honestly your money can be spent in a better place if you ask me.
@robes08 I'll pass on it. The money would be better spent on Tobacco Vanille because it's worth having a big bottle in my opinion. It's funny you mentioned it too!
Aaannd he's back! Fragrances (and pretty much anything) that I see hyped are an automatic turn off for me. Thanks for your takes on fragrances. I hate going to the mall so its such a value to me on where to target my attention. Btw, I love your opinionated and tell it like it is style. Your humour is a massive bonus. Good to see you back!
I have to admit that the hype convinced me to get a sample of this and I hated it. I had to jump in the shower straight away to scrub it off. My wife was already in the shower, so it wasn't all bad.
Pamplelune is very good but all the line does not last on me at all.I actually bought mandarin basilic forte which i love.Wish they would release all the line in edp concentrations
I agree Dark Lord. It’s an Ok fragrance. I follow few of the big “influencers” I got a sample of it.. not worth the retail price. Have you tried Basso ?
I haven't smelt this one but I saw it on every top 10 list, where do you get samples, I live in Canada and it's tough to find samples of these perfumes. Another question is what are the similar perfumes that you think is high quality for under 100 bucks or more? we would like to buy them if we get to know some.
Hi! I love grapefruit as a prominent note in a fragrance. I truly admire Pampelune, but I can’t wear it because it was my ex’s signature scent. I smell it and immediately see her, which I don’t want. I have Eau Givrée and love it - it’s a kind of grapefruit and juniper scent. I know you know this one well. What else should I look into if not Pampelune?
I love vibrato and I say it’s better than tygar and etc but I def think it’s way over priced as such the whole market. Super pleasant and mass appealing. I got mine for $160 few months ago which I think is fair
Both are DEEP into it. Max has ties with brands with scentxplore among other businesses that he has and GS tries to hide it well with his callouts of brands and influencers every 6 months but he may be the one of the most bought people on the platform.
Still want to try this. I find tygar decent, maybe 6.5/10 but I find myself curious still haha. I got my tygar incredibly cheap in a part trade and don't mind wearing it but it's definitely not one of my dumb reach fragrances.
Cheers Marc , haven’t smelt this , but I have a general rule of thumb ,if I smell a nice people pleasing scent , I expect to pay a nice people pleasing price 😇. Cheers have a great day ,and appreciate the video binging from you today ✌️🙏👍
I do agree with you that this is a very overhyped designer, the DNA definitely doesn’t push the boat out too much. I enjoy this one quite a bit for office and others seem to really enjoy this one
I had a decent sized decant of this one, and I have to agree with you. I tried to understand the appeal, but I just didn’t get it. I’ve tried a few fragrances with that Tygar DNA, and none of them have really impressed me. I’m by no means a fragrance snob. I actually really enjoy some “generic” designers, and I have bargain bin fragrances that I absolutely love to wear; however, this Tygar/Vibrato DNA is underwhelming to me. Some people swear they love it, and I love that for them. Just because I don’t care for it doesn’t mean you shouldn’t wear it. To each his own. But for me and my tastes, there are far more interesting fragrances out there at any price point. Great video as usual!
Hahaha, I predicted this review before watching it! I agree this is synthetic and price tag is too high but I think in this genre there is nothing better, this is it. I like it and wear it exactly like you said in lieu of other synthetic grapefruit frags (mostly designer like D&G blue, etc). I think this is a new direction that's supposed to replace bergamot/ambrox combo created by Sauvage and it's still under development. Maybe something worthy eventually will come out of this? Love your channel and agree, there are better fragrances out there. PS This lasts, projects and smells better in the air, terrible up close!!!~
I think this one isnt worth full retail but if you get it at a good price on discounters then for me it worth it. I do love Vibrato but I only bought a 5ml decant because I can't justify the price for a full bottle
I think the DNA is nice but you can get it nicer, and cheaper, in Arrakis Spirit of Kings (I paid $90) or any of the clone ones for $50. It's a designer DNA with a gorgeous opening note.
