I totally agree. Its horrible. Where is the customer service gone????
No customer service from these big cooperations, they use 15 year old kids as workers and provide zero service to customers.
I hate the self-service check outs. Went to the shops the other day and no one was using them and the line-up for the normal check outs were huge.
Ask for the manager and get them to open more registers, if they suggest using self serve say 'no thank you I do not work here'. You will love next Mondays rant video then, it's all about self serve check outs.
I can't stand self service checkouts, they've got them in coles now plus kmart so annoying. Our local maccas is pathetic, they always get the orders wrong in the drive through, especially missing food, and the ipad ordering system inside was packed, a massive long queue. What a joke! Great video. I 100% agree. If I walk in the door and the counter is abandoned and the place looks like a dumpster blew up in it, I walk out no matter what. If i walk in the place and there is five people standing there, who have already ordered it, waiting for their food to arrive and no one at the counter, I walk out, no matter what.
Exactly! And I should have probably walked out.
I've since stopped going to Maccas due to ongoing boycotts. Nowadays I only go to Subway and Hungry Jacks, as they're one of the few vegetarian-friendly fast food joints.
Only thing I really miss is about McDonalds is their hot chocolates and iced drinks.
Can't say vegetarian friendly options has been on my list of must haves but I guess for some people that's important. I like Hungry Jacks but you could not pay me to eat subway, hate the stuff.

Maccas with packaging everywhere is very common late night.
Unfortunately it is, they charging premium price for garbage food, at least they could provide a clean place to eat it in.
They're good points. In my local Maccas they have the machines, but you can also go up to the counter if you choose to. It is also usually pretty clean. I once went to a store in Elizabeth St in Melbourne that was a brothel and was similar to your example
Going to the counter was not an option at this one, might be a night time thing I am not sure, but it was disgraceful.

Where I live here in the UK my closest Maccies was rated in the top 3 in the country. The burgers looked perfect and tasted great, service was superb and the place was clean. The dumb touch-screens being introduced didn't even dent the experience seriously. What has turned it into a very sub-par experience is all the staff are preparing packages for Just Eat, Uber Eats, Deliveroo drivers and riders. Your food will sit on the pass for ages getting cold while all the staff are serving people who won't even leave the house. I'll once in a while use their drive through if I really want a triple cheeseburger and a coffee, otherwise I stay away.
Oh, and of course, when I pull up I'll get the "Are you using the App today?" No, because every dickhead and his dog wants you to download and app so they can harvest your data to sell. Like I need 300 apps on my phone to go anywhere or do anything.
Probably a good idea to stay away, the thing iOS good freshly prepared Maccas is quite nice and enjoyable to eat, however quality in general is very poor now. The app thing is crazy, the app tracks you, I ordered a burger a while back through the app as I was in a hurry I was about 5 minutes away and they won't start preparing your meal till you get there. So I said on the app that I was there, and the app said that I wasn't as they can not detect my device and to see a staff member.
I only use the computer ordering system to actually look at the menu and choose what i want in my mind. I then go to the counter and order off an actual person. It's called giving them a job, good customer service and human interaction.

Nope, Nope and more Nope. I'd rather go hungry or look elsewhere than go through that. It's hard to budget when every tiny transaction is done via car. too easy to loose track. A set cash amount runs out.
Nothing else open, and I wasn';t about to drive around looking after driving hundreds of km's already. They want it to be hard to budget, that's why everyone gets broke.

Happened to me at a cafe the other day, bought a coffee for $5.20 and the girl held up the eft terminal while I handed her $10.20 in cash, she was then confused and looked at me like I had two heads, and then I said that I need $5 change and she called the manager as she thought I was scamming her. 🤣🤣

I was in a bar last month (uk) and I tried to pay with cash and there was a total panic as the 2 girls working said bar didn't actually have keys for the till. They actually had to phone the manager to come down from his flat to open the till.
I haven't eaten Maccy in 20 years.

Thing is, the younger generation WANT this so they are filling a need. Our 13 year old can talk to olympic gold medal standard but flat refuses to go and buy from places that need her to speak to a human. If she can't preorder on an app or buy off a touchscreen in store they won't get her money. And she isn't an outlier, seems to be fairly standard amongst the ipad generation that are becoming an increasingly large cohort for big corps to sell to with as little human interaction as possible.
Sad really, and this is exactly my point they are trained like a monkey and act like zombies these days. It's the slave mindset that is programmed into children these days. Paid cash for my coffee the other day and the girl serving nearly had a stroke, she called the manager for assistance as she did not know what to do. The coffee was $5.20 and I gave her a $10 note and 20 cents expecting a $5 note in return, her head nearly exploded, she thought it was a scam. I honestly would hate to be alive in another 100 years, I am just glad I got to live life before mobile phones, and apps existed.
Hate McDonalds, cold food left out to keep warm and if you get that shite in a delivery it’s cold, hate hate hate them, you are ‘old enough’ to know better Mike, don’t be going there again 😂
McDonald's is prepared fresh in Australia as it is ordered, they stopped pre-making it and keeping it warm here about 15 or 20 years ago, each order is freshly cooked and made and served straight away. But I agree that it still is not great.
I didn’t know that, one day when I get there I’ll try an Aussie Maccies (got cousin in Camden) so probably be trying all these burger places 😂

Hey Mike, I see you have a lot of subscribers, but the views on your videos are very low, I think you need to optimize your videos as well as update the thumbnails on some videos. Then your videos will show up in search results and your videos will grow organically day by day.
I am based in Australia so videos do not get promoted on RUclips. It's a common thing. If I was US based I would have hundreds of thousands of subscribers and views.

I can get a quality freshly cooked Asian meal of my choice for less than a MacDonald’s meal at my local shops. And it’s absolutely delicious.

The customer has no idea who cooks or preps their food, a ghost kitchen can cook for 30 odd different online restraunts but be the one kitchen doing all 30, and because it's all done through delivery apps, no one is the wiser to it. Yes Mr beat has his own 'virtual brand company' these are also called 'Virtual dining concepts' so celebrities are noe branching out to these Kitchens. A rapper also doing this called Tyga bites. It's a big rabbit hole.

Why would I want a night shift job at McDonald’s? I worked night shift for 15 years 12 hour shifts at that, in a much tougher job than McDonald’s. The place is open 24 hours a day, if they can’t keep staff or keep the place clean they need to close. Love how your generation thinks working at maccas for a few hours is a tough gig 🤣🤣
@@MikesManCave They don’t pay fast food employees a living wage where I live. The only people working those jobs are felons who can’t get hired anywhere else. Hopefully whatever job you sacrificed your health for, working night shifts and getting out of shape, paid you a living wage. You couldn’t last one shift at a fast food restaurant, I guarantee it.
