- Donald Trump has arrived in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, for the Republican National Convention, which is going ahead as planned after an attempted assassination at a rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday.
Trump will be formally confirmed as his party's candidate for the presidential election in November.
The former president said he will give a "whole different speech" on Thursday, in a change from the "humdinger" he had planned.
The man who tried to kill Trump - Thomas Crooks, 20 - was shot and killed by the Secret Service but his motive remains unknown.

It said little more than 24 hours, more than 24 hours constitutes to more than one day, hence 'days'. Hardly rocket science.

They need to investigate why the Secret Service and the police were told about a shooter on the roof with a rifle from several people and they did nothing about it. He was able to fire off 5-6 rounds before he was taken down. The Secret Service was on a roof from 150 yards and they couldn't take him down? The SS was asked to provide more security before this happened but the Trump team were refused. Something stinks.
