You no longer need a screwdriver or a hammer to release the GPU! yay But in all seriousness, good on Lian Li for introducing such a quick fix and everyone who pre-orders the case will get a fixed version. King 95 pro, H6 flow should be included in the next update as well as the nv5 although like the y40 isn't a dual chamber, but still a good looking panoramic case
Just completed a gaming build in the H6 Flow and absolutely love it. I think if I do another build I would go to the H9 just for the added height and space.
@@HardwareCanucks I went 100% air cooling: 4x140mm noctua fans between the front and bottom for intake, 4xLian li unifans on the top and back for exhaust, and a Be Quiet Dark Rock Pro 4 for the CPU. With that my 12700k and 4080 stay nice and cool without much noise while gaming.
Me too! Needed a system unit that would fit under the table (short but large internal volume), While being something that could handle full size parts (ATX mobo, full size power supply). I had a 280mm rad AIO and we thankfully fit it in front mounted. 🙈😆 (Lian Li’s O11 Air Mini can only fit a 280mm rad top mounted IF the Mobo is ITX or mATX in 5-slot mode.)
Same here too, full air cooling but with p12 max fans instead and a NH-D15. Had to dial them down the p12max a bit since when it reaches 2400 rpm, it gets kinda noisy lol.
My favorite is O11 air mini, with combination with AK620 that case looks super neat. You can fit 140x2 in the front, 240 on the side, 120x3 on bottom and the top, 120 in the rear. It's pretty small but very mighty for its size. It cools very well too. It's great to see dual chamber case increas, I really love this trend.
I've been watching your case reviews for many years, and they are universally excellent. This is a great topic for a case discussion. This issue I have with dual chamber cases is that they tend to have really large volumes compared to standard mid-towers - all that space in the PSU section makes for easy cable routing, but with the move to M.2 drives located on MBs, there is a diminishing requirement to find space for either older physical hard drives or even 2.5" SSDs. The smallest dual chamber case that I can recall was the Riotoro CR1088 at 33 litres. Keep up the great work Dmitry.
I've been on the Phanteks Evolv Shift Air for like 2 years now because I've been on itx for a couple of years now but I REALLY want to redo my setup with a new desk and the NV7 is such an absolutely stunning case!
The Corsair Air 540 was also an amazing dual chamber case. I just retired mine as I'm going for a smaller footprint with my Jonsbo D41. Now I have room for a larger monitor 😜
The Air 540 was really cool for sure. Back in the time when Corsair was experimenting with chapes and layouts. Hope they come back with something inspired by the last few years. -D.
Recently upgraded from the Phanteks Evolv X to the NV7, and wow... no regrets. I do wish there was just 2 or 3 cm more space behind the motherboard tray as trying to manage cables for 10 or more ARGB fans can be an issue.
I have the nv7 as well and I didn't even do cable management just for that reason.. could get shit to feel right I had to just squeeze the back panel on...

I'm using the Phanteks NV7 full watercooled with three 360 rads, including a thick one in the top, and I also got the mega bundle to fill it up with the D30 fans and it's great.
I'm currently using the Corsair 740, and I absolutely love it! It provides just about all the space I need for everything. While it doesn't feature tempered glass and might not have enough room for a larger custom card like the 4080 Strix, it fits founders and AMD reference cards nicely. I'm considering getting another dual chamber case in the future to have even more space, but for now, I'm satisfied with what I have.
I had my eyes on the NV7 but i really dont want such a massive case. unfortunately the NV5 changed some of the best parts of the NV7 (specifically the back door). Right now, I've got my eyes on the O11D Mini.
Ha I’m in a similar situation. Coming from a Phanteks evolv case I loved the nv7 for the back door but it was massive. Saw the nv5 and I thought this is the one. Then found out it did not include the back door. Leaning towards the O11d mini as well
did a build for a friend a while back and he wanted the lian li white evo , got so hooked on that case that i did a new build for myself , love the white lian li evo build with 9 infinity fans. only thing left to really finish my build are the strimer v2 cables
I plan to pick up the Phanteks NV7 for my next build and have fallen in love with it ever since I first saw it. The price point is a little high but I think it’s worth it for what the case offers and will be great for my plans with a water cooled build.
Currently have the original O11 dynamic. (I had got it for the cheaper pre-oder price before the case exploded in popularity).I have a full custom loop in the O11, but I'm looking for the NV7 for my next build after seeing your review on it.
Tried 3 of them. Evo all samples had issues: misaligned panels, short stand-offs or twisted frame. H9 good, but bottom fans too close to bottom of the case. Will be noisy. Spacer required. NZXT should’ve included a mounting bracket that would solve that issue and make a breeze to install fans. NV7, amazing case. Tried quite a few cases during the past two years (15ish) and settled with the NV7.
I have lian li o11 snow white edition , definatrly first time getting a fancy case that show case the build , seeing it make my build feel like premium
I'm still using the original O11-Dynamic, which I bought based of your Video back in the days. Besides of one broken USB Port at the front it works fine since then.
Speaking of Dual Chamber, I think eGPU style enclosures for our Graphics Cards will be the way to go when 5000 series comes out with even higher power requirements and higher heat output. Put our motherboard+drives etc in a small case and have an x16 ribbon ran out to another case containing our graphics card and a 2nd power supply. Would be great to see companies like InWin make pairings for their smaller cases (eg a1 plus) that you can stack your existing case ontop of your gpu case.
I just built in the o11d evo for myself and the 011 air mini. The air mini was fairly robust and overall good. The o11d evo took a while to understand, but in the end is absolutely amazing and deserves all the praise it's gotten. 11/10 case.
I built several systems now. But once I went 011D I never wanna go any other case. The combo between aesthetics, space, and functionality as well as build quality just kept me hooked.
A couple of weeks late for this: Lian Li O11 Air Mini. It's the goldilocks size for my use. It's custom water-cooled (CPU and GPU) with multiple quick-disconnect fittings (I like being able to swap parts easily) and all power cables are cut to length and sleeved.
I wish this video had come out two weeks ago. There wasn't really a good comparison of this style of cases until now. I just bought an O-11 Dynamic, and this video would've changed my decision on which one to buy had it been available at the time.
Relocating the I/O to the front bottom Is my favorite part so I can put it on my desk or set it on the floor which I would like to see on a lot more cases. I like the larger holes over the fine mesh holes but think they are to far apart for better air flow.
I have the hyte y40 and it's very nice. Looks like a dual chamber and still is very compact. But two downsides that you have to keep in mind is that the airflow is not the best. I think Nexus tested it. You have to put all fans which you will probably do anyway. And the second thing is that my 280 Arctic freezer aio can't be mounted with the tubes oriented upside at the side panel because the fans block it. When you want to mount an aio sideways you need to look for flexible tubes so that they don't press against the gpu
I like the O11 EVO for a 2x AIO setup but I have a beast 200mm PSU (1500w) that I am worried about fitting, you would think the XL is the solution but the manual says it has the same size/clearance for the PSU. Can anyone confirm? Has anyone put a 200mm PSU in the O11 Evo?
Ive been looking for a good reverse style case and i think i found one. o11 dynamic evo. you know sometimes, some people put their computers on the left side of their table(like me). lol i was planning to get the segotep phoenix t1 but no one really has reviewed it. so thank you HC for this video and other ones! it helped me!
I have Lian LI O11 air mini case. Put small extra bracket on top of case, and I fitted 360mm radiator. It's pretty good case for a start. Price was around 150€ ( that includes 25% tax ). I will be building custom case soon enough that can fit 420mm radiator, and those oversized gpu's.
Lian Li O11 Mini Air is my favorite dual-chamber case as it allows me to place it horizontally in a 19" 4-post shelf. The computer case can hide inside a 25U, 32U, or even a 45U enclosure. I prefer a 32U, which is more to my liking as it can fit through the door easily.
My red Hyte Y40 isn't dual chamber.. but it sure as hell looks good with a ROG Strix 4090 vertically mounted. So that's the black and red part of the theme. Red cablemod cables. 12900k with a white ROG Apex z790. Black deepcool LS720 360mm rad up top with the new white phanteks d30 fans shown in the video in the white nv7. Two white lian li uni infinity 140mm fans on the side for intake as well as one in the bottom just because I had an extra. LOL. If they had 140mm versions of the Phanteks D30 fans I would have went with those just because you don't have to flip the fan around to and use the back. But one could argue the infinity backs already look incredible. It's crazy how well the two different fans compliment eachother. I just ordered a white phanteks aio though and I actually might switch to either the H9 flow or the NV7 but I really dig the compact size of the y40 and I get great thermals. I love the primary red and white theme with the black background. It just looks so good to me! I wish there were some dual chamber cases in red..
I was going for the NZXT H9, but I've seen other reviews saying that the GPU cable are touching /bending/forcing when closing the glass panel, not good. I want a case that has more width.
I just got a Hyte Y40 and after seeing more of the O11 Dynamic, I regret not getting that instead... The included PCIE extension is great tho and I still love my Y40
For those on a budget and looking for dual chamber case, I recommend the Tecware VX models ranging from VXC,VXN,VXR,VXM. all are dual chamber cases with different dimensions to suit your needs.
Talking about these more "budget cases", these dual chamber ones are only for water cooling/aio or I can use them with air cooling only too? I'll probably get an i5-12600, but AIOs on my budget are only the very cheap ones, and I don't trust water on top of a lot of money, so I'm leaning towards air cooling. That being said, I love the visual of these cases with glass on both sides and the budget ones are the same price as the regular cases, but I don't know the thermals, air flow and everyone seems to use AIOs with these ones. Also, my room is very hot and not well ventilated, can this pose a problem?
@@fll42 I was using a budget AIO too from Aigo(before i changed to a new AIO from Cooler Master 360ML). It was Aigo Darkflash Symphony 240 (2x120mm fans on the radiator) mounted at the top and paired with Tecware VXR case with 6 fans ( 3 sides and 3 bottom) set for intake. Mind you this was also budget fans from Aigo all set for intake as the AIO was only for exhaust. Would say a relatively budget build overall paired with an i5-10400F. I live in Malaysia, a hot tropical country. The temperature i had on idle range from 35-40 degree Celsius. And while gaming it would only reach up to 50-60 degree Celsius. I believe the same too as water cooling is expensive and water should not be inside a pc. My room is not well ventilated too and i have a ceiling fan to regulate the temperature in the room but overall temps are not really that high or anything that astronomically a threat.
Great video! Last year I made a big purchase mistake. I kept having my eye on the Lian Li 011 Air Chassis because for its small size it could house an atx mobo and psu. The Micro Center guy told me it would be a little smaller in width because I had a place in mind to put it but it didn't fit and I never returned the case. So I've kept on using my Fractal Design Define R6. My thought originally was to make more space on my desk without having to spend more money on a whole new system. Not sure what I will do with the Lian Li now.
We built my wife's PC in the O11D Evo, so she could invert her build (it sits on the left side of her desk). I like that it came with no fans, as she wanted all Corsair. After having built my PC in the ASUS Helios, I was jealous how much easier hers was to cable manage xD
I'm happy to see there's more dual-chamber cases. They're easier to build in, more versatile, generally have better airflow, and hide everything you don't want to see: PSU, HDDs, excess cables, etc. I STILL don't feel the need to upgrade from my original Lian Li O11-Air.
Why not use the Y60 instead as that's a true dual camber case? I just built my PC in it and it's pretty awesome. If I could change some things about it tho I do wish it was a little taller. It will give more clearance between the MB and an AiO. I also wish that we could change where the location of the ports are in the front. Lastly the top fans are covered even when using a rad. They need to expose the top of the side more. I'm planning to do a other build in another year but this time it will be in the Fractal North. I'm wanting a smaller build with less noise.
My old Corsair cases (I have the big and small ones) are excellent. The only way I'd changed is for one with space in the back for an extra motherboard.
I like my O11D mini case because of its small size. With offset bracket I can combine ATX motherboard, 360AIO, long GPU together in this case. The only problem is the case only support SFX or SFX-L PSU but I bought a ROG loki 1000w SFX-L PSU and now there is no problem at all
The NV5 was the biggest let-down for me after being super hyped about the NV7 and wanting a smaller size of it to reduce the empty area above the motherboard. They really treated the NV5 as a budget case rather than a smaller version of the NV7, and removed most of what makes it so unique and beautiful for an enthusiast build.
I learned from my Corsair 5000X build while blind that.. when done... 1. All that glass is dmmn heavy and adds a lot of wight 2. All that RGB looks dmmn pretty but adds a rat's nest of complexity, and end the end you leave it all off 3. A huge brick of a CPU make getting at the nvme drive slots and sata connectors impossible, so buy those and isntall them first. 4. You're main problme is going to be beating Windows 10 or Zorin Linux to work like WIndows 7 5. Building a new PC from sourcing all the part on ebay and building is going to take you likr 4 months, so in the end you really lose a lot of time, than save any time by being able tor ender anything faster. Yeah, major blow to your uptime transitioning over. You havet o move everything over. And then it's a huge gamble. I'm still not enirely comformtable but getting close to it on the new PC.

I orered a montecht Kind 95, wonder where that would place on this list. I had my pc built by a friend of mine, but I have been upgrading it. Now I have a 3090, and with the memory running hot I decided to go hard or go home, and ordered a case with more airflow (I have a fractal design Define 7 compact now) and I ordered a AIO watercooler and new thermal pads an paste. Never done anything like this in my life so I'm excited to see how it ends up. Is there anyone with advice for how to do placement for a set-up with 2 AIO's in one case?

i love my lian li dynamic, and i won't change it out for anything other then the evo, tho i have to admit i would love to see corsair do an evo style dual chamber. even more so with the storage tray door, that is sleek.
Loves the O11 dynamic razer until the 4090 came out and I upgraded to the EVO…absolutely perfect case to build in. Didn’t think they could improve this much but boy oh boy was I wrong. The EVO is perfect for my custom loop
Currently running a Lian Li o11 Air Mini. I was close to getting the Asus TUF GT502 but went against it because of the slightly higher price and glass front though the carry handles would have been nice. My old case, Corsair C70, had carry handles and they were great to have when cleaning day rolled around.
I love my O11 air mini. It fits a simple air cooled system with no extra space. My favorite dual chamber case. That NZXT looks cool tho. So does the Phanteks.
Hyte y40 is more cheaper and yet beautiful.. and its practical to buy they included the vertical gpu mount 4.0 Lian Li sup 01 is my new favorite now.. i cant wait to see it in personal..
The prices aren't bad for tempered glass and metal. In the old days we use to pay just as much or more for plexiglass and plastic. I love my o11d xl and can't wait for the Evo release.

I have the NV7, the footprint is similar to the 011 evo, it's just taller to accommodate the top rear mounted PSU.

It would be nice to have a Midtower that basically separates into 2 matx sized cases with handles for moving around.
O11D EVO XL is the best. Period!
I already think the non XL to be huge. The XL would just be a monstrosity on someone's desk. So I have to disagree.

My HTPC is the 011 Dynamic mini and my main rig is the 011 Dynamic Evo. It's definitely a marquee case FTW!!

Installing the phanteks display in the NV7 when released. Its like the space above motherboard was made for it.

I have the hyte y40 and it's very nice. Looks like a dual chamber and still is very compact. But two downsides that you have to keep in mind is that the airflow is not the best. I think Nexus tested it. You have to put all fans which you will probably do anyway.
And the second thing is that my 280 Arctic freezer aio can't be mounted with the tubes oriented upside at the side panel because the fans block it. When you want to mount an aio sideways you need to look for flexible tubes so that they don't press against the gpu

I like the O11 EVO for a 2x AIO setup but I have a beast 200mm PSU (1500w) that I am worried about fitting, you would think the XL is the solution but the manual says it has the same size/clearance for the PSU. Can anyone confirm? Has anyone put a 200mm PSU in the O11 Evo?
Ive been looking for a good reverse style case and i think i found one. o11 dynamic evo. you know sometimes, some people put their computers on the left side of their table(like me). lol i was planning to get the segotep phoenix t1 but no one really has reviewed it. so thank you HC for this video and other ones! it helped me!

I have Lian LI O11 air mini case. Put small extra bracket on top of case, and I fitted 360mm radiator. It's pretty good case for a start. Price was around 150€ ( that includes 25% tax ). I will be building custom case soon enough that can fit 420mm radiator, and those oversized gpu's.
Lian Li O11 Mini Air is my favorite dual-chamber case as it allows me to place it horizontally in a 19" 4-post shelf. The computer case can hide inside a 25U, 32U, or even a 45U enclosure. I prefer a 32U, which is more to my liking as it can fit through the door easily.

My red Hyte Y40 isn't dual chamber.. but it sure as hell looks good with a ROG Strix 4090 vertically mounted. So that's the black and red part of the theme. Red cablemod cables. 12900k with a white ROG Apex z790. Black deepcool LS720 360mm rad up top with the new white phanteks d30 fans shown in the video in the white nv7. Two white lian li uni infinity 140mm fans on the side for intake as well as one in the bottom just because I had an extra. LOL. If they had 140mm versions of the Phanteks D30 fans I would have went with those just because you don't have to flip the fan around to and use the back. But one could argue the infinity backs already look incredible. It's crazy how well the two different fans compliment eachother.
I just ordered a white phanteks aio though and I actually might switch to either the H9 flow or the NV7 but I really dig the compact size of the y40 and I get great thermals. I love the primary red and white theme with the black background. It just looks so good to me! I wish there were some dual chamber cases in red..
I was going for the NZXT H9, but I've seen other reviews saying that the GPU cable are touching /bending/forcing when closing the glass panel, not good. I want a case that has more width.
I just got a Hyte Y40 and after seeing more of the O11 Dynamic, I regret not getting that instead... The included PCIE extension is great tho and I still love my Y40

For those on a budget and looking for dual chamber case, I recommend the Tecware VX models ranging from VXC,VXN,VXR,VXM. all are dual chamber cases with different dimensions to suit your needs.
Talking about these more "budget cases", these dual chamber ones are only for water cooling/aio or I can use them with air cooling only too? I'll probably get an i5-12600, but AIOs on my budget are only the very cheap ones, and I don't trust water on top of a lot of money, so I'm leaning towards air cooling. That being said, I love the visual of these cases with glass on both sides and the budget ones are the same price as the regular cases, but I don't know the thermals, air flow and everyone seems to use AIOs with these ones. Also, my room is very hot and not well ventilated, can this pose a problem?
@@fll42 I was using a budget AIO too from Aigo(before i changed to a new AIO from Cooler Master 360ML). It was Aigo Darkflash Symphony 240 (2x120mm fans on the radiator) mounted at the top and paired with Tecware VXR case with 6 fans ( 3 sides and 3 bottom) set for intake. Mind you this was also budget fans from Aigo all set for intake as the AIO was only for exhaust. Would say a relatively budget build overall paired with an i5-10400F. I live in Malaysia, a hot tropical country. The temperature i had on idle range from 35-40 degree Celsius. And while gaming it would only reach up to 50-60 degree Celsius. I believe the same too as water cooling is expensive and water should not be inside a pc. My room is not well ventilated too and i have a ceiling fan to regulate the temperature in the room but overall temps are not really that high or anything that astronomically a threat.
The darkflash c285 series are also good options. I got the tecware vxn evo and it's a great budget case.
Great video! Last year I made a big purchase mistake. I kept having my eye on the Lian Li 011 Air Chassis because for its small size it could house an atx mobo and psu. The Micro Center guy told me it would be a little smaller in width because I had a place in mind to put it but it didn't fit and I never returned the case. So I've kept on using my Fractal Design Define R6. My thought originally was to make more space on my desk without having to spend more money on a whole new system. Not sure what I will do with the Lian Li now.
We built my wife's PC in the O11D Evo, so she could invert her build (it sits on the left side of her desk). I like that it came with no fans, as she wanted all Corsair. After having built my PC in the ASUS Helios, I was jealous how much easier hers was to cable manage xD
O11 Air Mini is my favorite....I had an Evo but downsized and it's perfect...5800x3d with 3090ti
All I wanted is a good mATX case with good thermal and nice design. But dang those are expensive 😂

My setup is in a Dynamic XL and ranks Top 10 on TS. You can fit 19+ fans so it makes sense 😆.
I'm happy to see there's more dual-chamber cases. They're easier to build in, more versatile, generally have better airflow, and hide everything you don't want to see: PSU, HDDs, excess cables, etc. I STILL don't feel the need to upgrade from my original Lian Li O11-Air.
The nzxt h6 flow takes things a step further then the 9? Have you seen it?

Why not use the Y60 instead as that's a true dual camber case?
I just built my PC in it and it's pretty awesome. If I could change some things about it tho I do wish it was a little taller. It will give more clearance between the MB and an AiO. I also wish that we could change where the location of the ports are in the front. Lastly the top fans are covered even when using a rad. They need to expose the top of the side more.
I'm planning to do a other build in another year but this time it will be in the Fractal North. I'm wanting a smaller build with less noise.
My old Corsair cases (I have the big and small ones) are excellent.
The only way I'd changed is for one with space in the back for an extra motherboard.
Phanteks NV5 vs. Nzxt h6 flow RGB who is best your opinion?
I like my O11D mini case because of its small size. With offset bracket I can combine ATX motherboard, 360AIO, long GPU together in this case. The only problem is the case only support SFX or SFX-L PSU but I bought a ROG loki 1000w SFX-L PSU and now there is no problem at all
The NV5 was the biggest let-down for me after being super hyped about the NV7 and wanting a smaller size of it to reduce the empty area above the motherboard. They really treated the NV5 as a budget case rather than a smaller version of the NV7, and removed most of what makes it so unique and beautiful for an enthusiast build.
I learned from my Corsair 5000X build while blind that.. when done...
1. All that glass is dmmn heavy and adds a lot of wight
2. All that RGB looks dmmn pretty but adds a rat's nest of complexity, and end the end you leave it all off
3. A huge brick of a CPU make getting at the nvme drive slots and sata connectors impossible, so buy those and isntall them first.
4. You're main problme is going to be beating Windows 10 or Zorin Linux to work like WIndows 7
5. Building a new PC from sourcing all the part on ebay and building is going to take you likr 4 months, so in the end you really lose a lot of time, than save any time by being able tor ender anything faster. Yeah, major blow to your uptime transitioning over. You havet o move everything over. And then it's a huge gamble. I'm still not enirely comformtable but getting close to it on the new PC.

I orered a montecht Kind 95, wonder where that would place on this list. I had my pc built by a friend of mine, but I have been upgrading it. Now I have a 3090, and with the memory running hot I decided to go hard or go home, and ordered a case with more airflow (I have a fractal design Define 7 compact now) and I ordered a AIO watercooler and new thermal pads an paste. Never done anything like this in my life so I'm excited to see how it ends up. Is there anyone with advice for how to do placement for a set-up with 2 AIO's in one case?

i love my lian li dynamic, and i won't change it out for anything other then the evo, tho i have to admit i would love to see corsair do an evo style dual chamber. even more so with the storage tray door, that is sleek.
Loves the O11 dynamic razer until the 4090 came out and I upgraded to the EVO…absolutely perfect case to build in. Didn’t think they could improve this much but boy oh boy was I wrong. The EVO is perfect for my custom loop

Currently running a Lian Li o11 Air Mini. I was close to getting the Asus TUF GT502 but went against it because of the slightly higher price and glass front though the carry handles would have been nice. My old case, Corsair C70, had carry handles and they were great to have when cleaning day rolled around.

I love my O11 air mini. It fits a simple air cooled system with no extra space. My favorite dual chamber case. That NZXT looks cool tho. So does the Phanteks.

The prices aren't bad for tempered glass and metal. In the old days we use to pay just as much or more for plexiglass and plastic. I love my o11d xl and can't wait for the Evo release.
