I am 75 this month and bought mine on April 19th 1966. Regal Red with a black top and interior. 396 325HP. Paid $2875. Picked it up May 6th 1966. I was 16 on April 19th and turned 17 on the 22nd of that month. Seems like yesterday.
I like the front end of a 66 and the back end of a 67...I have always wanted to take a 66 front clip and put it on a 67 but I just don't think I could bring myself to do it...haha My favorite year Chevelles...Man I love those "day 2" Cragers
Whats is impressive about that car is the fact that it has 125K on it but the wear on the interior/trunk and engine bay makes you think its a lot less...He has done a good job taking care of that car
It has a Malibu dash , steering wheel , stereo antenna in wrong place , painted wrong , trunk had been redone , I also believe carpet in the trunk was hiding something ?
