G'day Lou, That would have to be one of the most beautiful 1969 Chevelle in a long time. Top dog 396 L78 with a 4 speed & posi trac come on what's not too like. MCACN is the gift that keeps on giving. What’s cool about this car is that you just know that someone walked into a dealership and ordered it exactly the way they wanted it. You can look as long as you want but I don’t think you’ll find too many other Chevelle’s optioned out like this. 50 years ago I would have looked at this white painted top and thought “what were they thinking”, but now I think it’s just so cool. Love this car and love this video Lou!!

Beautiful rare color combo, and the L78.solid lifter 375 hp.4 speed takes the cake. Parchment bench seat with factory AM/FM and 8 track make it even rarer, one of one optioned like this?? Thank you Lou, you know how to pick them!

What a gorgeous color combination! Of course that big ol' 396 and the 4spd look great, too. I can see why Mr. Nossel has kept it and enjoyed it for all these years, and many more to come. Thanks, Lou!

Very cool car- great colour combination. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a factory painted top on a Chevy like this. And the Car Story is great; not many high schoolers buy cars let alone keep them for 50 years. Thanks Lou!
Hi Jeff, "I don’t think I’ve ever seen a factory painted top on a Chevy like this." Unless it's a 50's Chevy, but I agree, not a late 60's car. You're welcome, Lou
Yeah Lou, Chevy didn't miss a beat with the body style change from the already good looking body style of the '66-'67 Chevelle to the good looking body style of the '68-'69 models. Always loved that shade of blue. There's something so very cool with a 4 speed/bench seat feature. Thanks Brother!
A lovely car Lou, and delighted to come across one of these long ownership cars that DID make it back onto the road, so many of these cars just sit and never get restored 😢

This is my favorite car Lou. I need to go to that show, hopefully the next one. It would have to be close to WV though. The Barrett-Jackson collector car auction this past week at Scottsdale Arizona, was live and online. I seen many of the best cars and trucks, and about anything with wheels. Check them out, if you haven't already. You'll be shocked. 1969 was first year without wind, wing glass for the coupe's. The Astro Ventilation was the replacement on many of the GM models that was being redesigned without the vent windows. Thanks Lou for the video, and Jim for his care of his car for everyone to see and learn about these gems from our days.

I had a 69 with the same color combo. A few differences: mine was a Malibu convertible with a 307 backed with a bw 3 speed stick. White top and interior, and yes, azure turquoise paint. The 307 were well-known as mosquito killers because the valve seals would leak and put out white smoke. I promptly dumped a 350/350 4 bolt truck motor in, backed by an M-22 (4-speed.) Bought it in '77 for 800 bucks, still fairly clean. It stayed with me til 2000, when it burned up in a shop fire. If I add 10,000% to my 800, I can buy a replacement. Would be curious if someone can estimate the value of the hardtop shown here
