I only went 150 km. ride once, in Thailand. I'd been doing regular 20 km. rides in alternate mornings and sometimes 50 km. iin 2 hr. rides so thought I'd try the 150km. On my own though so no pals to chat to. Stop half-way for lunch. Took me 8 hours on the hilly route. I rode my hybrid bike. with 21 gears.

If you want to make yourself safer on public roads wear a light coloured jacket/outer shirt and helmet or hat. the most noticeable colours are White, Yellow and Light Orange.
Nice vid guys. I often think nutrition is over complicated. Done a 100 recently with 2 bottles of water and one nature valley bar taken at 83 miles, no problems! Best Regards :-)
@Brainjock Why not? Nothing to do with beginners or experience just stating it can be done without an over reliance on carbs etc. No offence intended 🚲

What happened to this channel? The videos were really well done.
They probably cut their losses - it was either the next GCN competitor or not.

I'm good for around 75 miles each summer but then my legs just give in.
Dark bikes, black wheels, black clothes. Super stealthy... Stay safe and be seen!
I agree, however the point of this ride is that they're on closed roads 👍🙂
