@frisbeefrolf that was much of my experience with the ball before this video. I have put a number of games on since. But it’s possible the volume effected the ball reaction.
My ion is definitely snappy like you mentioned. Did you hit yours with surface? I need this joker to tame down. How would you say this compares to the scorpion low flare as far as back end shape??
Vaporize is the stronger of the two. More core and stronger coverstock. This can definitely be a combo. Just keep the surface on the ion pro to keep nice and strong and smooth.
The ion looks so smooth. It looks controllable and predictable which I kind of need. Do you think it’s good tournament ball? I’m a collegiate bowler so I play on a lot of patterns. Do you think it’s something that would be good on patterns?
100%. Get some games on it so it can settle in. It will boomerang initially then it settles in. In some higher friction centers it will hook a little more.
@@Vietboy004 I have not thrown the Ion; but if you don't like it as is, change it. the ion comes at 4000 grit; for me 4000 grit tends to be over/under hell. I am planning on getting an Ion and taking it to 2000 and going from there
We appreciate the tips and breakdown of the balls an lane conditions
I agree the ion looks real clean.
Ooooohh I really like this comparison
💪🏾
That Pride Liberty looks gooooooooooooooooood!
5 inch pin is too weak for me on ion pro, gotta go stronger and open them flares up
But if you go watch my initial video this ball has no problem down. It seems to be settling in now.
Mine is drilled 4” and it’s so responsive. Like too much. I’m pushed to 40 with my feet right out the gate

Is that ion as good as the phase ll ? Thanks Bro..
Phaze II is legend. I can’t say the Ion is that good, but I’m enjoying the ball reaction!

Ion pro and the vaporize the same ball or can they be one combo? What’s your thoughts and if so order

@the-hypebowling where does the envy fit between them

What’s the size of ball you’re using.
15lbs
Wheras the pride has more hook
So out of the two which do you prefer more?
House shot Pride liberty, sport shot Ion Pro.
Motiv stuff is great for house shot... Storm has been more like pro shot killer
i got the ion pro and i dont like it not rolling good for me
How much surface is on it?
@@TheHype-Bowling out of box should i surface it? so far i dont like it what should i do

100% it is over under with the 4k grit. I like with 2k grit or even 1500. It is a much more consistent reaction!
@@TheHype-Bowling oh thankyou let me try
