I'm loving this ball! Used it Wednesday night for league on THS. If not for leaving open 9th frames... I would have shot 650 ish. I was still many, many pins over my new average. I'm stoked! Not even 6 months back into bowling (first league in 15 years) I see a lot of good games in my future 😅
The note about getting proper layout on big asymms is an important one. As someone with low tilt, I don't go past 4" pin-pap on asymms with int diff around .020 or higher because I don't need help getting the ball to go forward. Have 4 balls coming next week including this one, I'll probably even go pin down to manage the flare a little more
Just got a call from my PSO who said he drilled my Pure Envy and Effect with the following layouts: Hammer Pure Envy 25x5x25 Hammer Effect 30x4 5/8x70 I hope those are good for asymmetricals. I can't pick them up for almost 2 weeks and it's driving me crazy!
@@BOWLINGwBOOTH oh wow. I've never used a pin down before. Fingers crossed that it works out. Traditional Down and In, lefty, one-handed, thumb-in, high track. I'd guess tilt and axis rotation are both 15 degrees. Current Rev Rates175-200. Current Speed at pins 12-16mph
Do you think typical house shots are not keeping up with the new bowling balls technology? To me it seems everything with exception of a tropical surge everything is too strong for the typical house shot
Question to both of you- With the layouts, what is it - maximum skid flip, versatile, midlane hook?? Just got back into bowling 3 months ago after a 25 year layoff.. I have an Effect & Scorpion low flare.. the effect is not drilled for max hook and actually my low flare moves more.. I was looking at getting the Hitter drilled for max hook as my strongest ball. What are your opinions between that and this One Reverb??? Thanks, love the channel! Soflo guy here too 💪🏻(I would say I’m more speed dominant than revs)
I would say that the Reverb would fit better than the Hitter pearl. The reverb's core reads the mids more. If you're looking for a clean smooth ball then you can go with the Hitter pearl and get a different shape. If you want something that reads the mids and shapes down lane then the Reverb is your ball. I don't know that there's really a "max hook" drilling. It all depends on the core and surface of the ball. Once you drill the ball, you can manipulate the surface to get other kinds of reactions. If you get the Reverb I would say look at getting a low VAL angle on it and talk with your pros hop about pin placement and the first drilling angle. Charles and I both had low VAL (last number in the layout) angles. Thanks for your support!
@@BOWLINGwBOOTH appreciate the response! I was referring to the Hitter solid (I know it’s discontinued but still available and with a deal 😉).. I’ve been looking at this One Reverb too and she looking good! Thanks fellas!
@mjheggie2 Got it. I'd say the Hitter solid is in a class of its own. Doesn't roll as early as other asym solids and has a very controllable back-end motion. I still use mine here and there.
I’m looking for something between the 3.0 and 2.0 Hybrid. I’m low Revs 250-300 w 14mph speed. The 2.0 sometimes doesn’t give me enough hook playing in and too much hook playing straight. Wondering if this One allows me to play in and give the shape I need.
Love watching Booth and talking with him!!!
Thank you much!!

Stand left and throw it right!!! 👀👀😍 I'ma love this ball‼️ I can't wait to get mine...

Sounds like a plan!
That was good.
Booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooth! Another good match and you got a win on him finally lol
Definitely need help with drilling with Brunswick. My drillers are storm guys and sometimes layouts just don't work for me that they place
What have they been doing specifically. I know 3 to 5 years ago definitely needed to drill the companies differently but with the new stuff no need.

Very interesting. Remember, layouts can be very specific to your style. Looks like your Hammer Effect will be pin down

@GrumpaBaggins pin down just gives a smoother reaction. The larger the VAL angle (last number) the smoother the backend motion
@@BOWLINGwBOOTH thank you for explaining this. I had no idea. I appreciate it.

All depends on the house. The majority are free hook city

May I ask what wireless mics you use?

This ball will allow you to play inside as long as the shot is there. You may need to adjust the surface for better reaction too
Number 1
Too much ball better let us hacks have it 😊
What surface did you use on yours?
I kept mine at the out of box surface for the video. Afterwards, I hit mine with 2000
@@BOWLINGwBOOTH Thanks! Did Charles previously hit his with a 2000 also?
@123Sblade123 I'm not sure what grit was used for his, but yes he did the smart thing and scuffed the surface 🤣
@@BOWLINGwBOOTH haha Thanks bro

Aye bruh stop using that lower camera angle…ts suck
Not a fan! Only like the Game Breaker series
