If I were to pick up this AI, I would probably keep the Power Edge on it to separate it from my Phaze 2. It should be a great compliment to have in the lineup
Alright, Utah. Color me impressed. The new Power Edge finishing process seems to be Storm’s answer to Brunswick’s Crown Factory Compound, based on what I’ve read about it. Also, Hutch, when you keep your trail leg down, your already great shots look even better. Commit to working on that.
Great review once again! This ball came at a bad time for me. I just got the GB4 Hybrid and it looks like it fits the same part of the bag? Or is the GB4 a touch weaker, stronger?
Really like seeing your videos, one thing I'd like to see, is something showing your ball speed on shots. I'm not sure how you would do that, but seeing your ball speed would be super helpful as well.
@TheHype-Bowling no worries, just curious on some of the shots in the videos, when maybe speed could be the issue on why the ball did what it did versus what you were trying to do, but nonetheless, keep up the good work and pumping out these videos, I watch every single one you put out, a great reference for me to see how some of these new balls react. Helps me decide on what to buy and possibly use. My favorite video is the Piranha from columbia 300, and I bought cause of your video and is currently my #1 ball in my bag.
No, this is cleaner than a crimson jackal. Phaze AI will be a good piece to go to once your crimson is getting a little slow and not carrying the corners.
Based on how phaize looks vs peak (and oip in this video), zgl is a good step down. Far cleaner downlane. How much will depend on surface prep and who is throwing it.
$174 For a recycled ball. So sick of the bs from these bowling companies. Another good video Charles. I appreciate the information and effort you always provide. I have actually adopted your layout for dry lanes. Keep them coming bro. Always good to hear your break down of the specs vs reaction/feel.
On most house shots I believe it will feel like a stronger ball than the ascent because of the friction response is more. On oil you will see the ascent looking stronger if you keep more surface on it.
@@TheHype-Bowlinginteresting I have my Journey after my phaze 2 , due to the amount of tumble off of friction. At the euro challenge, the journey struggled until the lanes broke down. For my style I think this phaze AI would sit just under the Journey for Burn. But I have an IQ Ruby in that spot
Phase V was like that to me. I’m gonna try not to grab this AI. Afraid I’m gonna have itchy fingers walking by the pro shop. I think it’s time for another collab video with ya peeps.
The Ai fits perfect as the 2nd ball out of my long oil tournament bag. I throw all pearls early on longer patters. Black Widow 3.0 platinum is sharper and stronger. Ai is still sharp but a little weaker and then I move to the weaker and smoother Idol Pearl. Shorter patterns the Ai will most likely be my first ball out of the bag followed by the new Ethos hybrid. I threw it today for the first time for a review. Have you throw it yet? I think people are going to miss out by sleeping on it just like they did with the Emerge.
@haloreachcommentary1 who doesn’t want more hook 🤷🏾♂️ there are several balls that don’t have it, but people aren’t checking them out. Crusher, big bite,
Would like to see the AI compared to the Motiv Raptor Rush.
I think I can work that out!
Also throw in the Stealth Hybrid too please! Im looking at those three to fill a spot in the bag
It's most definitely the shoes, those are dope
Blue and white
This is what responsiveness looks like.
Agreed. This bad boy has some good!
Nice video. Love the colors. I would also like to see this compared with the Raptor Rush and Vaporize
Will see what I can do.
If I were to pick up this AI, I would probably keep the Power Edge on it to separate it from my Phaze 2. It should be a great compliment to have in the lineup
Definitely I like the power edge so far.
I Agree with the colors. They are 🔥🔥
Super fire! 🔥
Video starts at 3:44.

Agreed. That extra balance helps a ton.
I loved my phaze 4 didnt care for phaze 5 and this one i am excited for definitely getting one
Phaze AI = Awsome Indeed. I hope to maybe swap out my Duo with this one. Medium/Sharp slot in the bag.
You think the Ai will compliment the phaze 2 in the bag. Are you tucking your pinky when you throwing your shots
Would like to see the Ion Pro comparison with the Phaze Ai
CHARLES!!! That AI is a beast!!! Interested to see what releases will rival it.
New finishing process with no slip agent to clog pores, should mack more consistent reaction
I got those shoes headed my way soon. Need them to hurry up lol
I feel you!
Journey would be a good comparison, same cover with a different finish
Great review once again! This ball came at a bad time for me. I just got the GB4 Hybrid and it looks like it fits the same part of the bag? Or is the GB4 a touch weaker, stronger?
Gb4 hybrid will be close in overall reaction. But I do have the phaze being a little more down lane for sure.
The cover on the GB4 hybrid is WAY cleaner, there’s room for both just drill the AI stronger
Really like seeing your videos, one thing I'd like to see, is something showing your ball speed on shots. I'm not sure how you would do that, but seeing your ball speed would be super helpful as well.
That’s the hard part. I don’t have specto or another tool of that nature to grab that info. And place that into the video.

How does this compare to the Hammer Effect?
Looks smoother and flares beautifully but would like to know your take on it. Thank you!
Hope you answer this, how does this compare to the hammer scorpion strike?
Well there is video that is on the way. That will cover this. But AI is stronger.
Wow this ball is like a crimson substitute
No, this is cleaner than a crimson jackal. Phaze AI will be a good piece to go to once your crimson is getting a little slow and not carrying the corners.
Will compare this to the zen gold label please?
Based on how phaize looks vs peak (and oip in this video), zgl is a good step down. Far cleaner downlane. How much will depend on surface prep and who is throwing it.

Yeah the price is a little much. But the phaze 2 is still successful and people always want a pearl version that is actually good. But who I feel you.
Great video once again. How does this compare to the Lightning blackout? Your number 9 ball of year so far. 😊
This is way stronger. But I wouldn’t use the term better. The fit different slots in the bag.
Think it be a step down from accent but love to see it compared to the vaporrize

This needs to be compared to the No Doubt
Another great video.😊
Reminds me of my Theorem.
How does it compare to the for ge freeze or whatever? You know the ball that the blue and white ball. Please respond. Great video as always.
Forge Subzero , swag blizzard Glacier?
How does the AI Phaze compare to the Swagg graffiti tracker?
🤣🤣
Shhhh naaapy
cleaner/more responsive than the Vaporize?
Correct
You talked about the shoes twice but didn't show them, what's up with that? Otherwise, great review.
Is this just a Journey with AI?
No, Journey was significantly rounder. Felt like a stronger ball that could handle oil, more blendy, this one is more of a dart left.
Shnikeees was the word you were looking for at 4:44
😂
The spec you put on the screen was .035 😮
Miss typed, if you listened to the first part of the video, I mentioned the correct specs.
Where the hell is the Zen AI ball???
Not a bad idea.
Compared to Ion Max?
What do you recommend on a long oil pattern?
Brunswick Mesmerize or Storm Ion Max.
Would you recommend for a speed dominant bowler? I roll between 14-16 speed
Of course it can work, but what’s currently in the bag is the question. But this is definitely a fun ball to throw!
@@TheHype-Bowling I’m scattered right now lol. Vebo, Optimum Idol, Spare ball. Lookin pretty bad right now.
Phase V was like that to me. I’m gonna try not to grab this AI. Afraid I’m gonna have itchy fingers walking by the pro shop. I think it’s time for another collab video with ya peeps.
how u think this compare to attention star?
Ball down for sure. Attention star and dna coil can handle way more oil.
How is it compared to the Gold Lable?
Gold label is going to be cleaner. Think that the phaze AI is a step up in overall ball motion.
Put it up against the new Swag Goat ball comparison
😂
Interesting idea.

Hey bro. Update you diff on the AI. Im showing .052 instead of .033. Good video bro
You are correct! 0.053 mistyped.
The diff is supposed to be .053 not .035😮
Correct
What lb ball do you throw
15?
15lbs
less continuous than a Phaze2
I don’t believe so. I think based on the conditions of the lanes where drier it would look more continuous.
Hello sir, you gotta change the diff to .53, you have it listed as .35 keep da hits coming
tired of the companies chasing "ai"
It's just the future and it works. Better to see innovation than not. It is storms idea child. So it was gonna happen. It also looks really good.
If anything Brunswick worse hk22 is literally on everything if your going on that aspect of sharing technology
Storm AI, Brunswick Hk22, Motiv Propulsion technology. Everybody has their thing!
@haloreachcommentary1 who doesn’t want more hook 🤷🏾♂️ there are several balls that don’t have it, but people aren’t checking them out. Crusher, big bite,
Congrats on understanding what AI means here. As a hint, it's not artificial intelligence
