that's not what he said. he said the economy is sound. it's the financial/monetary side that is a mess. learn to listen.

I think these kinds of interviews need to be conversational and the host needs to come from an informed perspective and not just push a quota of predetermined questions.
Eddie talked about the estimates by the IMF that there is over 7 billion dollars in our informal economy, that's a whole line of questioning that could have been 10 minutes or so worth of conversation. Andy Hodges would have been monumental to the quality of this interview.
Have full interviews of 1 or 2 or even 3 hours available on the ztn digital platforms, and then you have the broadcast version edited down to suit the allotted airtime for the program

Well said Ed, the RBZ keeps printing money excessively. Growth in money supply should only as a result of growth in Output, (National Income) i.e Economice growth. Our govt is busy printing out money that the markert has not demanded. However I think the government should dollarise, that way wea re guaranteed of stable prices and confidence in the medium of exchange.

i disagree on price controls. they work. but corruption would have to be low. too many influential ppl benefit from supporting the parallel currency markets.
