    After watching your video where you mentioned having a problem finding silky leaves for your design. I was at hobby lobby today, and in the paper crafting section there were packages of different types of leaves… they looked like a fabric type material. I so enjoy your videos…your work is amazing!!

      That is such a good idea! I hadn't thought of that - I was in the floral department and didn't look further, but I'll have to give it a try - thank you!

    Thanks Katie for the tutorial. I love how you spend so much time going thru each stage. It makes us feel it’s doable. By the way I have just re watched the tutorial on specialty threads as I needed help choosing the correct threads for a project

    Thank you for a great tutorial. I will have to check our craft stores for greenery now. There’s a lot of Christmas in July going on here. Your finish is beautiful and sparkly.

    I am so excited for this kit to be released! I missed out on the Stacy Nash needle book and vowed I would never let that happen again! Thank you for a lovely tutorial!

    Beautiful. Do you use 9ne strand of floss for wrapping?

    • @katiestrachanembroidery
      @katiestrachanembroidery  3 месяца назад

      Yes! You could use more but I think one provides a neater look and more control

    Watching with great interest. I am wondering why wrapping with thread instead of floral tape?

    • @katiestrachanembroidery
      @katiestrachanembroidery  3 месяца назад

      You could use floral tape, I just don't particularly like the look or the feel. I think thread gives more control and a more finished look so I prefer it, but there's no reason why you couldn't use floral tape.

    What kind of containers for beads and sequins do you recommend for storage? And where do you get them? Thanks

      I just use little clear plastic or acrylic boxes - you can get them on Amazon or Michaels
