    I started golf with lessons and practiced a lot for 10years.
    In this time assumed i was one swing thought away fron 300yds. But i could never hit 200yrd and my irons were limited to 150 and less.
    What changed me finally.
    1. Speed sticks and prgr. The prgr showed my swing was less than 90mph.
    This woke me up! I am far from one swing thought to get tigers swing.
    This forced me to look at the swing from the ground up. I started to finally undrstand with channels like dr kwon the golf swing is like walking.
    Now my new 150 yard club is 9iron. I still struggle with driver but improving.
    I needed the prgr to wake me up. As i learned to swing faster with prgr my swing and contact improved dramatically. I was using ground and still em for effortless power.
    For those who dont know prgr is a swing radar device. Its cheap and worth its money.
    Without the prgr i would still be swining out of my boots and making zero progress. Speed in golf swing is very deceptive.

      Thanks for your message. Glad to hear you have had much success. Personally, I never use devices and don't use them to teach as proper motion produces a considerable amount of distance; as well as, accuracy and feel. With that said, anyone that feels like they are improving, growing and taking their game to many levels and most importantly -- enjoying the game is all that matters. Keep it going!

    Agreed! I'd rather have effortless power than speed there's no comparison. I accidentally swing the effortless power sometimes but the problem is that l don't remember how l did it the next time because l am out there falling back into my old way of swinging out of my shoes again lol.

      Being self aware to know you have felt effortless power and to know when you fall back to your old swing in itself is a positive step to improvement. Very cool! To get effortless power more often will be things in the videos you will discover overtime. Hint: It is avoiding bad tips and applying good fundamental movements as I will continue to discuss.

    What about all the additional health benefit of having more strength and bone density from the deliberate work outs?

    • @JunsGolf
      @JunsGolf  3 месяца назад

      Good question as discussions like this when clarified can help guide others to stay healthy and strong. I am for working out but it's all about doing the right motion for any work-out or movement to prevent injuries.
      Unfortunately the golf swing is a complex motion that even swinging a club slow with the wrong technique can cause severe issues in the body. If anyone wants to speed train for golf, it has to be done carefully and for the rare few.

    Dear Jun,
    What is a good driver loft for a 92 mph swing speed, assuming mechanics are good?

    • @JunsGolf
      @JunsGolf  3 месяца назад

      Good question, although it's got an array of answers depending on several factors:
      1. There are varying levels of good; for example, as most golfers are taught to hit up on a driver (which I disagree & reminds me to do a future video talk) as well as, shot shape, etc.
      2. Clubhead type & brand varies
      3. Plethora of shaft combinations and flex with some that are more tip stiff that can change the dynamic all together.
      4. .......and many more
      However, in general with lets say a stock club and shaft, most golfers with a higher end of good should get a 9 degree and maybe lower end a 10 but i wouldn't go much higher or lower simply because the lofts can be adjusted a degree or two up or down. 9 is a good number and I will explain more in depth in a video.

    Does she ever teach anything tangible, or just talk in vague terms?

      If I didn't care about the well being of people and golfers, I wouldn't take the time to have talks like this knowing I could easily get a lot of negative comments. I'm going to share a lot of information now with you in hopes to maybe have you see things more openly and get more out of it so that it could possibly prevent injuries for you or that you could help another person, friend or family members and kids from getting hurt by doing the wrong movements.
      I'm not sure how to tangibly share how many golfers I have seen who have injured themselves through speed training and simply swinging too hard and fast. I'm just trying to share my compassion and professional experience and knowledge to save some golfers from having future surgeries. To me, this is a serious and common issue that golfers and athletes face.
      I'm not sure if you have seen A New Season video I posted but I emphasized that this is a pointer and a full scope of things so golfers can figure out what makes sense to them before consuming so many gimmicky golf tips that are out there.
      There are enough golf lesson videos out there, so I decided to be the one talking through to help others see things in a different light to know what to discern and decipher before they physically implement the movements.
      Tangibility through a computer screen is challenging; however, if you look at my hundreds of video swings and lesson videos, you can see "how to info", swing and results. However, this is beyond getting better at golf, it's someone's health and life that can benefit from not trying so hard and to consciously move properly to enjoy golf and life.
      After having given tens of thousands of golf lessons and have played golf with a plethora of golfers throughout my life, I find most people need to first get their mind more focused or else they end up wanting to consume every tip that's out there. Most golfers I find, if they can't discern information, you could have the best swing technique to share and it could easily be swiped by a gimmicky tip. It's the world we live in but I'm not going to give up as I care too much to help a few that want it.
