Big deal! Sharks in the water doesn't mean anyone is going to get attacked. There are all kinds of videos of sharks cruising around people not paying any attention to them whatsoever. It's extremely rare and it's really stupid to keep people out of the water just because someone saw a shark.
I was there at jr gaurd and saw one and it was a little sand shark and it was day 2 of it last week on Tuesday when we where jumping of the Cayucos pier and they where on mega phones and we where telling a girl to slow down on her electric scooter Because she was going 20 mph she almost hit my friend she hit almost to other people she was going 20 mph on the sidewalk and then we started chasing her She hit our friend and he said English, or Spanish to her.😂😂😂 but a fun day at jr guard and a Karan in counter to so it was a lot of fun 🦈🦈🦈plus look for whales 🐳 👀👀 how saw the shark 👇👇👇

it would be really nice if someone could mention the size of the shark they saw. A 9ft juvenile vs a 15ft adult are two entirely different problems

Lots of juveniles from Malibu to San Diego. Juvies usually eat fish not pinnipeds so size and species would be informative.
it’s because all the kelp is being destroyed by purple urchins .no kelp the sharks come all the way up to the beach .. huge problem in california
