That point passed over a year ago, the damage is already done. Now, even if they lowered their prices, I still would not go, quality is still poor. I now eat out about once a month, go to mom and pop places, food quality is better and prices tend to be less than any chain.
What a crock of crap! What’s the ratio of executive pay to employee pay? 300/1? Profits are booming, but they’re telling us that employee minimum wage costs are cutting into their profits. They might be able to vacation in Côte d’Azur only 3x this spring instead of 4! What a nightmare!
@@Bman220 Um, because that's literally how all of these multibillion corporations work. They have enough money to pay people a livable wage and never raise prices without ever hurting for money.
I can tell you they DO NOT pay employees well.. I interviewed for carry out with 30 years experience. They wanted to hire me for 7.25 hour to train with no tips for 5 days. 7.25 an hour plus tips that you split with other carry out and KITCHEN. Never in 30 years have I seen this. Especially in today's economy. 15 years ago carryout was making $15 hourly. Get with the times TEXAS ROADHOUSE
I've been to my local TR & in a couple other places in the country & was horribly disappointed in the past 3 years. Went there, for the final time, a year & a half ago. Not worth the money as the quality is disgusting now. I'd rather make my own, it's much better anyway & I'm definitely getting the quality as well. No more paying for being disappointed.
My family and I were very disappointed last time we ate at texas roadhouse. It seems like every place is downgraded and charging more. We're cooking our steaks at home now much better
After eating at Texas Roadhouse after a several year absence , the décline in quality was so disappointing . Even the green beans were watery and flavorless. The cactus blossom was mushy.
Yeah, but...the price of a decent steak in the grocery stores is rediculous. And then, as I love alone, I have to cook the steak AND and side dishes, and do the dishes. That's a lot of work, time, and expense for a single meal to cook at home. And actually, the last time I was at TxRoadhouse, about a month ago, it was one of the BEST meals I'd ever had there. SO it will still be my "go to" place on the rare occasions I want a steak.
Inflation has gone down a lot in the last year. This is just shrikflation. The 14 oz steak is now 12oz and the profits go into the pockets of the rich. They are just like all big companies crushing the rest of us at the profits of themselves.
With steak as expensive as it is in the grocery stores, we will be having it a few times year, never again a couple of times a month, and certainly wont be eating steak at a restaurant. Before 2022, we ate a lunch and a dinner out every week. Now we eat 1 meal out maybe once a month and thats if its a special. My advice to everyone, invest in good cookware, electric lunch box and thermos instead of poor quality over priced restaurant food. Millions of recipes online, perfect for dinner then lunch next day.
What's happening to this place? Seems like since the owner passed things have been different. They are very good about taking your plate back and making it perfect or changing it if it's not up to your standards.
I love it when RUclipsrs put Clickbait titles in their headlines just to waste my time. I thought this video was going to discuss why Texas roadhouse might be struggling financially or something, but after going through almost the entire video they summarize by stating, “TEXAS ROADHOUSE’S strong financial growth last year went against the industry trend… the increased revenue came not just from A bump in menu items across-the-board, but also a but also a 5.1% increase in overall foot traffic indicates a rise in the restaurant’s increasing popularity with Americans and Texans alike”… THANK YOU FOR COMPLETELY WASTING MY TIME MASHED,I I love it when I get tricked into having my time completely wasted 😊
Ya on Feb 4 my bday I ordered the ribeye,no, salad over $30. 3/4 was gristle, my bp was small as a baby's fist the salad was the only decent thing. I was like mad. I couldn't believe the shit then I asked the manager (22f) if it looked like a $30 plate. I got a half assed response.not going back.
This coming recession will be much like the one in late 70s, early 80s, it started with inflation but not as bad as what we have now. Businesses, older and newer will close left and right, first to go are ones that depend on disposable income, restaurants, floral shops, jewelers, hotels/vacation rentals, entertainment venues, streaming services, just to name a few. Already many boats, cars, campers FSBO, an early sign. And this one will have a HUGE effect on housing market. Foreclosures already happening.
You guys have been saying this for like 3 years now about this upcoming "recession" that were supposedly getting and it still hasn't happened 🙄 and all the numbers are showing that it's most likely not going to happen anytime soon!! Stop listening to Trump and Fox News!! Lol

inflation is destroying America...The amount of unnecessary spending that's been taking place over the past 4 years is choking out the everyday people.
Texas Road House is gross. They only train their staff to sell more toppings and not how to actually give good service. The atmosphere is loud and unpleasant. There are so many better places to eat in most cities. It’s not even remotely inexpensive. Their kitchens are filthy as well. It will remain a mystery why people go there. Maybe they don’t know what real service and decent food is.
@@CarlGoldmam Well...there ya go. Not even real Texan. I went only once, and it sucked. Never again. I'd rather go to Outback, and if that isn't a total destruction of Texas Roadhouse, I don't know what is.

At what point will chain restaurant price hikes stop you from going?
It already has. Can’t afford it.
Quality and portions have been reduced and prices higher. I can make this at home for way less $$ and higher quality.

They ALWAYS ‘forget’ to mention corporate greed. They’ve been making a profit, they just refuse to allow that profit to get any smaller. It’s greed.
