The car litterally says "This phone is compatible with streaming music trough bluetooth" so your answer is: Yes it can receive music trough bluetooth :) You have to set it up as the car said, but in the video the lady answered no so the car canceled audio stream setup. I know because my friend plays music trough bluetooth on his 2009 is and it has this head unit

music does not work, need to get one of those car lighter free station bluetooth connections.

Great question. You can't play music with Bluetooth but you can use an AUX cord if it's connected to the car.
