I bought mine and it made my audio sound horrible in the car, my speakers where sounding like they were bad, but when I used a regular aux to type c cable they sound amazing.
If you notice any battery drain in your car ensure you unplug all 12 volts charges after turning it off. Went through a couple of batteries to learn this. The fact is some of these charges are made with low grade circuitries which can mess up your cars battery and electronics.
I’m buying a 08 in silver soon. Probably going to mod it to just about everything you’ve done aside from the wheels. This is the cleanest is I’ve ever seen. 😅

look on ebay for the year car you have and find whats the latest version dvd they sell. if you have a 06-12 they sell update dvd on ebay for cheap. im not sure about the 2020 lexus update since it just came out so you may have to wait till a update comes out. buying a new screen is a waste of money and not the best option for most people. buying a simple update dvd is better

Marty Motoring my 2009 does have a different button style around the infotainment system but yours looks identical in terms of features and interface. They still just made slight changes every couple of years and didn’t add that until 2010.

never use those cheap usb adapters they can mess your phone battery up and cars electronics up and create a crappy weird whine in the speakers. buy a good quality brand and something that doesnt feel like dollar store plastic. I got a good one from best buy for about 15$ that charges really quick and it was apple certified
Actually the one in the video has a feature that eliminates that whining noise. I own one. I have three other cheap adapters and this one has been the ONLY one where the whining noise is not there.
Do you have any issues with whine from the AC input using adapters? I have an earlier IS-F that I have a bluetooth adapter in - seems like when my phone is plugged in to the aux and the power, it emits a high-pitched whine. It does the same when going through a FiiO E6, or a bluetooth adapter... anything plugged into the car's power whines when it outputs aux. Any ideas? Also, have used beads already. Didn't do much.
I highly recommend getting the bluetooth adapter he has featured in this video. It has a feature that cancels out that noise issue. This has been the ONLY bluetooth adapter I've had to stop that whining/annoying noise. Buy it!
The is250 i got on december came with a parrot blue tooth system already installed, but i think it's missing a part to adjust volume and settings. Would that bluetooth adapter be better? and would it allow me to select through modes? As in if my phone is connected and playing something, can i just switch on the radio with the steering wheel button? or i have to grab my phone to stop it?
how come i dont have to hit i agree on my 06 is350? also my gps keeps getting off calibration it shows me driving in a diff place completely. ill re calibrate and it goes off again. I did buy the latest update dvd i could find on ebay too and that didnt help either. both versions did it.

The Bluetooth aux adapter you have is better than the BK03. My gf and I bought both and the BK03 was just too complicated without any new features.
Theres a way to change the color for the settings but I think theres only an orange/yellow + black option or blue +black

I went with the GROM VLine system. Well worth it. Enables CarPlay and a bunch of other apps.

2006-2009 models* Mine is a 2009 and bluetooth is for calling only also.
It must be 2010 when they added the new version of Bluetooth for streaming then. I thought it was 2009 with the slight changes/refresh

the burnt copy one worked for me. what issue did you have with the burnt copy?

where can i get a burnt copy that works ? My dealer wanted to charge me 400$
eBay. I would just try a reputable seller. It was probably a bad disc. I have never had issues
