Mr Astroid has designed my perfect van. I want to add a miele washer/dryer (does not need to vent out side) and a dishwasher. This unit is just amazing!!!
Absolutely ridiculous to have a dishwasher in a van, good grief! Get your lily white hands dirty with some dishwashing for once. Should you forgo having a shower because you are on vacation too? It might take away from precious vacation time! As for the standard washer/ dryers made for residential use - another ridiculous request. Some of them have a concrete collar to reduce vibrations and you lug that weight around which further reduces your cargo carrying capacity when being mobile. Furthermore, many non venting machines like the LG Direct washer/dryer combo have very serious design flaws - there is no way to remove the lint build up inside which cripples it in no time. I took one apart - did major surgery on it to find the link section and still could not access it. As deeply buried as an appendix in your bowels. There are perfectly good little manual machines that are tiny and light to wash and spin dry. Hang up your clothes after that. Don't expect a van to have house functionality or you sacrifice compact size, gas, and cargo weight.
You gotta batch for those live batt trees 🤣. The word the lady was trying to think of for the fabric with the ‘grain’ is ‘nap’. Suede, velvet, several other types of fabric have that. Anything that you can brush your hand in one direction and leave a trail in the fibre. That B box turned out fantastic. You all must be very proud of it.
Mike, each build I say yes this is the one for me. Then you build this rig WOW. The owner's design is amazing and of course you guys knocked it out of the ballpark putting it all together for him. A true family rig. Love the separate bathrooms the dining table is a work of art. The garage space is HUGE. YES YES YES 👍 👍 👍
It's nice to see Cleveland in the video, my old stomping ground from 30 years past. I've been following ARV since 2016 and I plan to become a b-box client in about 8 or 9 years. It's a superb product that offers endless design and layout options. Well done!
I have been trying to do this talking it over with other people I say I was crazy to think of an ideal way of doing this and I love the way you all have constructed and put it together wish it was cheaper I chill with 51 if I could afford it and I pray one day I can buy one at 12 I can drive into the inner city where big RVs are not allowed thank you for making this one day I shall have one I pray
Been watching their videos for a while now, and I'm always impressed with the talent and professionalism of *Advanced RV.* When my wife and I are ready, *Advanced RV* is who we're going to see about our new home away from home. 🤍
Absolutely stunning. Well done ARV and to the owner/designer. My dream build would be something like this but minus the pop-top. I would add an incinerator toilet (powered by propane like the TinyJohn or the Cinderella). The propane would be standard 20-gal tanks that can be refilled almost anywhere (like the Winnebago Ekko) and would be used only for the incinerator toilet and possibly an outside grill. This way, there would be no black tanks and more room for fresh water.
Another amazing van from ARV. Now if I could just afford one. Don't get me wrong, I know they are worth the price with all the design, engineering, innovation and over the top attention to detail. Keep these videos coming.
This build is stunning. There seems to be a problem with van builders and building vans to seat 3-4 and sleep 3-4 comfortably. For years I've always said, I can't pay close to 390,000 to 500,000 for van when my daughter has to sleep uncomfortable. I would absolutely steal this plan layout for my family. I would only add functional exterior esthetics like a robust front bumper, winch, and two boxes in the back that swing around and allow the back garage access doors to open freely. the only reason is I would need more storage; maybe a ladder and a small light aluminum roof rack over the pop top so when im not carrying passengers that need sleeping I can use the top as storage safely. also I love that this man opted for a washer dryer....thats BOSS STATUS in a van box that size.👌🏼
How many nights at a nice hotel or resort could you get for $390,000 - $500,000? Half a million dollars to rough it is really steep. Imagine how much this unit will depreciate over a short period of time too. I just love Sprinter vans but the cost of some of these professionally made units is prohibitive.
@@amywalker7515 lets take the higher price, 500 000usd.... two rooms (4 poeple, lets say at 3000usd in total per night, we are in the nice hotel or resort after all) then its good for 166 nights. so not that much. if you use your RV for 40 days/night per year, its a little more than 4 years of "nice hotels or resorts"...
Pretty much perfect. As I don’t have kids, I could remove the middle passenger seats and replace it with more shelves, or a small “living room” or library and entertainment area. Love the shower/bathroom/toilet/sink/kitchen/washer/dryer. Well insulated too. Nicely done.
wow, such an awesome rig! looks great and functional. Wish I could afford something like that and take my Travel show on the road. maybe someday. great job. Love the shape and size of the box.
It's stealth in regards to it having an absence of dumb RV graphics plastered all over it. It looks like it could be a specialized work van, not an RV per say.
wow. This is the perfect design!!! Unfortunately, we do not see more of these type of bodies in States, but B-Box is an amazing built. Once you make it a bit overlandish, I will be your next customer, or maybe one day I will just walk in to build one together :)))
I've watched many van builds and have been waiting for this, a comfortable, relatively compact unit with sleeping for four, separately. Maybe it's a little out of my price bracket right now, it is obviously very well-made. Way to go Advanced RV team! Is it also available in 4x4?
Advanced RV: look at the 8” kitchen aid microwave. It can exhaust inside or outside and allows you to install a large cabinet above. It works extremely well. The size is deceiving. It can microwave just about anything. Costco has one at a great price if you want to order one to fool around with.
👌🏼 Wow ~ Really nice. The stainless steel countertops & sink look so nice. That washer/dryer is AWESOME. How many batteries? How about trying 1 of those incinerating toilets in the next 1? Or try cutting the entire back-end panel out to lay down like a “patio?” A rooftop deck would be appreciated too (just ideas 🤷🏼♀️👍🏼)
Nicely done. Congrats to the whole ARV team. My wife and I visited your factory when you were just starting on your first B-Box, so it is great to see the progress and know that you are now working on a number of these units. With the extended chassis, what is the length of this particular unit and/or what do you feel the maximum length of a B-Box could be?
Imagine how much more room they would have if they had used a murphy bed for the rear bed and perhaps a ceiling bed or murphy bed to come down over where the kids sit behind the driver's seat. The kids have no place to go but sit in their seats. they could have put a desk or entertainment area where the rear bed is and storage under those passenger seats. If you want to see true efficiency, watch some of the home made RV videos where they squeeze an incredible amount of utility out of a tiny space.
I really like this model, I would make a few tiny modifications but this is exactly what I'm looking for. Is it possible to have this same exact thing made for me? What would the price range be and how long would it take to make?
Hi there. very good design and quality indeed. but in my point of view, this kind of a van or motorhome really deserves KCT Hard Glass type of windows. What do you guys think? Best Regards....
Great quality and design as always. Wonder how many times you've installed that pop top. Need to keep an eye on the bolts on those scissor hinges, they tend to come loose.
This maybe an excellent unit to build as a spec, bringing the costs down as a result. Lots of folks with kids who are recreational campers may go for this, given the quality, finish, and comfort. My preference would be to start with this and beef up the offroad capabilities such as adding front and rear winches, better ability to ford water, brush guards, and enhanced security. The work Advanced RV does is incredible. Should I go for a B class you'd be my first call.
yeah, but even if they brought the price down 20%, it would still cost more than the homes that most people with kids live in. There simply aren't that many people, especially with kids, that can afford over $300,000 for an RV.
@@kcgunesq Agreed. Like most expensive things in life, only folks with a fair bit of funds could afford. Custom work like is labour intensive and American labour costs are high.
Astroid of Happiness appears to be a good bit larger than the first prototype B Box. I’d be interested to know it’s complete all around dimensions. And, further, about how long and how wide could a B Box be?
@@AnthonyWebb7 Yes absolutely. Last year, Mike said the median price for their vans was $380K and the B-box are about the same. With the cost of everything rising since then, I wouldn't be surprised to hear $485K. ARV is not for price shoppers.
@@AnthonyWebb7 their battery system is probably 80K alone. Their recirculating water saving shower system is also about 60-80K, I would guess.
