    A beautiful build. I find it fascinating what people believe is important to bring with them on the road. We were the same way when we retired six years ago. But I have found over time that we need less belongings and less connectivity/technology. But one thing is for sure, a build like this, in the 20'-24' range, gives you the wonderful gift of access to just about everywhere. Taller/heavier/longer comes with too many tradeoffs. Keep up the quality workmanship Advanced RV!

    I'd still want a side door just for convenience of moving stuff in and out, but other than that, this is a fantastic build. I love having all the features of a larger van in a short chassis. If you are at all interested in visiting national parks, many of them have a 20ft vehicle length limit for entry, and it is very important to me to not be limited on where I can go.

    Great video thank you! With it being a 144 4x4 if you were really pushing it and got into some challenging liquid depth situations is the battery, leveling hydraulics, tanks, electrical etc etc all sealed with no issues? P.S Love the Artistry, Research, Vision wall! Keep up the great work!

    I can only assume to replace the refrigerator the owner would pull the front seat and take the door off.

    • @AdvancedRV
      @AdvancedRV  8 месяцев назад +2

      In this case, the owner will pull the refrigerator out of the rear garage door. We've designed the rear cabinets and bed structure to be removable.

    Can you use the self leveling jack to jack up to change the rear tires. That would be a great feature to have.

    • @AdvancedRV
      @AdvancedRV  8 месяцев назад +1

      In an emergency it is possible to use the hydraulic levelers to change the tires. However the manufacturer recommends against it for safety reasons.

    I would assume you figured a way to replace the refrigerator etc. if needed without taking it through the cab and also an escape out one of the windows (?)

    • @AdvancedRV
      @AdvancedRV  8 месяцев назад

      Yes, the fridge would leave through the rear garage door if it were to fail. The cabinetry and bed were designed to be modular and removable for that scenario.

    My only concern would be how to replace the fridge if it packs it.

    • @AdvancedRV
      @AdvancedRV  8 месяцев назад +1

      All of the rear / bed cabinetry is modular and removable, so if the fridge fails, we can remove it from the rear garage door. Sorry we didn't mention in the video.

    any thoughts about B-Box on Transit vs Sprinter?

    • @AdvancedRV
      @AdvancedRV  8 месяцев назад +1

      Choice of MB vs Ford chassis is personal preference. Our clients mostly choose MB. We are open to building on a Transit.

    Hi I may have missed this in previous videos but am just wondering about flex in a 4x4. Have looked st box body systems and dome have the rubber hatch between the cab snd box to allow for the box flexing with uneven ground.

    • @AdvancedRV
      @AdvancedRV  7 месяцев назад +1

      Thanks for the comment. The all wheel drive will have the same frame rigidity as the rear drive chassis. We are confident in the structural integrity of our attachments and cab reinforcements. We are a certified MB Expert Upfitter and follow all MB upfit recommendations. We hope this is helpful.

    Imagine the fridge goes bad.
    You have no side door to replace it.
    I think it’s a bad design and maybe something clients didn’t think through very well.

    • @AdvancedRV
      @AdvancedRV  8 месяцев назад +1

      The rear bed + cabinetry is designed to be modular and removable. If the fridge happens to go bed, it will go through the garage door on the rear side.

    Swap a box? What a original idea, lol! If only someone would have thought of this before, they could have called it a truck camper and charged about $75k instead of over $400k! SMH.
