My god, this is absolutely insane, not only you designed an amazing product with incredible engineering works, but you also willingly and openly share all the thoughts about the product with the public, this is more than inspirational for any businesses. One day, when I have made enough to purchase this van, I will become your customer.
This is a true entrepreneur! Instead of telling clients "sorry, we cannot deliver your campervans, since we cannot get Sprinters" he goes: Let's find a way to make an even better campervan without a freaking Sprinter. You rock!
@Ronald Reed Is that a problem?
@Ronald Reed I don't follow you.
@Ronald Reed. Cheap? I just heard $300,000 for this. Can you believe it?
@@2phunter crazy price for crazy buyers, let's wake up
@@user-vw3ll9ky2p High end custom doesn't come cheap... Class A's start even higher when you go high end custom and start around $500K, and the big RV's and motorhomes can go higher on up to over $3 million... Look for something much more basic and standard model for something lower cost or consider DIY van conversion for really low cost but then you may not even have a bathroom...
OMG! I’m an engineer with 15 yrs of full time rv and this is the best I’ve ever seen.
Cost 380k .
@@happycamperinc. yikes
I agree, well you better have a lot of " engineer " money saved to get behind the wheel. 350K to 500K !!! 😳😳
Auto tech/fabricator 30 + years incredibly well thought out . Automotive designers and engineers should be as talented as these guys..
I am very impressed incredible team.
Thank you ,I will brag about u guys 4 years.
@@happycamperinc. Maybe it comes with a 30 year full warranty for that amount ? Lol
I'm 6.2 "tall and I've always wondered why a camper van has to be in a sprinter that's narrow and curved at the top. Plus we have to suffer around isolating all the holes in the chassis and not very efficiently. Why doesn't anyone just use a B box .Everything I have imagined and thought about solving this problem you have already perfectly done it. Honestly. I think this is going to be revolutionary and I wish you much success in sales. Also, the idea of the possibility of dismantling the complete living space is great. I am in the bee business and using the chassis for the purpose of transporting the bees and for housing is great.
Well the B Box is not a van, it's a truck. Class B's are built with vans but Class C's are built with trucks and that's what they did here with the B Box...
They just kept the footprint similar to a camper van, which is the impressive part as Class C's are typically bigger and bridge the gap between Class B's and Class A's...
@@ZeoCyberG Thanks for explaining.
I was skeptical at first . . . Then, I realized that you have pushed the edges of the envelope in every direction possible - ARV continues to set the bar higher and higher with better and more advanced technology ALL ACROSS the board!!! No one innovates within this industry the way ARV does!!! Well done!
If I win the lottery, I will be a customer, but will probably redesign the entire inside especially those sterile walls. I love that they have thought of everything mechanical, electrical, safety, water, tanks, even the UV rays in cleaning and conserving the water. But, please hire an artist to design the interior aesthetics. Beautiful.
and over in Europe we've been building this way for years
...
Excellent video! Clear concise message, timely editing and I am excited for what's next!
Are you getting any ideas George? Yours are more than excellent as they are!!
They need to utilize your cardboard layouts to advance the thought process during the builds!
Glad you enjoyed George! Thank you for the comment.
As I watched this, I kept thinking abut sending this link over to Humble Road because I knew you would appreciate it. Love the off grid systems. Would like to configure a fixed bed platform in the rear with sliding storage drawers accessible from inside and outside (once shade hatch is lifted). Add a D/W (uses less water than hand washing) and let's go!
George, do you believe this is worth $300,000?
I have only a small interest in the "RV Lifestyle" but you had me watch the whole 40 min presentation, and I have to say, I'm quite impressed by your presentation & product. If/when I get to the position in life that would allow me to partake in the "Lifestyle", your product(s) would be my first look. Thanks.
Cost 380,000 dollars
Agreed! Excellent presentation.
@@happycamperinc. really? Wow.
You are? Did you believe this is stealth too?
@@smartid.5324 It IS?
Wow, just wow! Your company doesn't just try to be the best, you seem to look at what the bar is set at as far as high quality and best standards and then blows by that. Awesome job as always.
380,000 dollars
@@happycamperinc. That sounds like a "heavenly camper" instead of a "happy camper!"
I'd love to see a walkthrough of that pop top with the washer/dryer once it's finished!
We'll keep you posted 👍
@@Codirectme Even larger RVs built on Unimogs usually only have a single all-in-one washer/dryer machine. I've yet to see a small stack in any RV builds.
The ingenuity and engineering that goes into these campers is mind blowing. The detail, finish and function in every area has to be commended.
I was sold when he said, " so in the winter, when you're up above the Arctic Circle...". The level of thoughtfulness that ARV has applied is utterly impressive. They instill a level of confidence that has no equal at this moment. Well done!
I love this B Box. It's innovative and stealthy. Beautifully designed. Congratulations on developing something so ingenius.
Can you really go stealthy on that? Maybe with a delivery truck exterior look. It is beautiful inside though
Love the removable box idea. makes perfect sense and it can possibly be your forever RV, just swap the chassis when it gets breaks down. hope to see that build in the future.
Yash !!!!
This is an amazing concept. I love the fact that it''s the same footprint as the regular 170, but offers more interior layout flexibility, especially side to side sleeping which really opens it up. This is truly the ideal RV for my tastes. Just when I thought you guys had reached the pinnacle, you go and take it to the next level. The only change I'd make would be painting the coach body to match the chassis cab. Other than that small nitpick, this design is perfection. I want one!
As a mechanical/structural engineer I have to say this is the best product on the market right now and probably in the future. BROVO gentlemen.
over/under $200,000?
lots of innovation and great design; you get what you pay for
I’ve been following you guys for three years and this is the vehicle I’ve been waiting for. With your “conventional” sprinter conversion you have set the industry benchmark for innovation but with BBox you have taken that benchmark to a new level. Can’t wait to learn more about the price structure and availability. Cheers on a job well done!
Over $300k
@@darrylmcginty1296 That's nuts, night?
@@sdosser8895 the whole RV industry is nuts, i can fit the same with less bells and whistles for about 20k, plus the van.
Amazing!
It is designed and built better than a NASA engineers. The B Box is ready for a Mars Mission.
Please show us a Ford chassis version when one is complete and tested.
Totally agree. I am convinced the ford transit eco boost AWD is the best for RV applications.
@@tjl942 If you have the cash and patience to go to ARV you might as well send your transit to Quigley for full 4wd.
Wait. It has interplanetary capability?
It would be great to see a video on the washing machine when it becomes available.
Would be interested to know what is the price. You have a very good team. They are temple builders, meaning customer friendly team. Thank you for sharing the making of the van. 🙏
Now , I am impress . The water system. You can reuse the water and still feel safe that it is clean to do so. The best!!!!
It doesn't happen very often I watch a 40 minute video from start to end without skipping. Amazing vehicle, great build.
Wow. This could be a game changer. I’m retiring in three years. I’m seriously considering giving you my business in the next year or two.
This is my DREAM rv, plus 20%. I'm just in awe.
"we do not know how well it will do in the winter, but what we do know is that it will do well in winter" direct quote
Looks amazing guys!
Love it and the possibilities. I prefer the more stealthy and utilitarian look as opposed to making it look pretty.
Agreed. I prefer a nondescript exterior which belies the luxury of the interior. It looks more like a delivery or work van than a RV, which lends itself to stealth camping in cities as well as boondocking out in the bush. Overall, a fantastic design.
@Omar Williams Yes. I would probably reduce the number of windows to make it look even less like an RV. I want to travel as much to cities as into the wild, so a stealth look is very important to me. I'm not opposed to a regular van conversion, but the additional interior space you get in the b-box while keeping it the same length and width is very appealing. The box design is also far better insulated than a van body can be, which makes for a much more comfortable space.
You guys are wrong. This is no good
@@trailerparksupervisor7046 Don't be ridiculous. Individual preferences and opinions are never "wrong"
I was just thinking that the design of the "apartment" is too sterile and factory but I'm a girl so pretty, style and colour is important to me..
Insane amount of technology into this, wouldn't be surprised this is in the price range of an earth roamer adventure RV. I'll keep playing the lotto
Over $300k
@@darrylmcginty1296 I'm sure a couple Saudi's would buy a couple of these, but......
Beautiful I have seen a few homemade recycling showers but this is next level! slap that roof with some serious solar without all that ac and stuff that is normally up there!
Wow!! I've looked at hundreds of RV videos and all I can say is "Wow!". Can't wait to see one of these IRL. ; )
Omg the craftsmanship and the engineering for this truck is amazing, if I was rich (must be expensive for this quality product) I would love this. Great job !!!
This is the most amazing van! I wish I could afford it. Love it. Guys knocked it out the park.
Wow. Truly amazing Bbox RV and ARV company. You guys are leaders in this industry.
This is a dream machine! Chef's kiss on the engineering, design, presentation, and editing. This RV is just perfect.
Why hasn't this been done before? This is amazing...
It's nice to see shops using PolyIso after so many years of fiberglass for insulation. With that and the double paned windows the insulation may be as good as an EarthRoamer.
Everything I wanted for WOMP 2 and a few things I never thought of. Amazing job guys!
All I can say is: wow, awesome! The design, engineering, and building techniques you have in your B box are solid. Excellent job.
This is so lovely, honestly I've never loved a cutoff chassis rv cause they are always shabbily made but this changes everything
I. . .am. . . _loving. . .this!!_ We have been looking at class B+ for a year or two. Then recently considered a customized van, as it gave us more options specific to our needs. But *this* could very well be *exactly* what we want.
Thank you so much for the incredibly comprehensive video behind it's creation. I love it _finished,_ of course, but learning the process and interviewing the designers/engineers and getting the build details was a huge selling point.
Sounds like the best of van lifers vans in 1 van
I think we are seeing the future of small RVs right here. Composite box requires 20% of the heating BTUs compared to a steel van...did you catch that? Beautiful work.
units like this are all over Europe - have been for years - they are just reinventing the wheel here
Would love if this if it had the option of a lift bed with garage storage underneath!
A slightly longer version built on a crew cab and more sleeping space for families would also be super awesome.
Nice! If Kelvin wasn't already in production I would be taking a serious look at a B Box.
these guys deserve every penny.
Amazing design, love how this company drives innovation by trying-out new technologies and building techniques. Exactly the kind of companies we need more of here in the United States. Thanks for sharing your methods and thinking.
I love the technology you guys are putting into your projects. I really like this concept. Well done.
I'm truly impressed with the system level design that went into this. I'm an aircraft systems engineer and I think your team could build a damn good aircraft if you put your minds to it. Thanks for the thorough walk through of the design!
Impressive. Very, very impressive. Not just the B-box but the amount of work that you and your team have put into developing it.
This design has so many breakthroughs! Wow! Congratulations for the brilliant creativity shown by the whole team. Very inspiring... and tempting!
Like everything but that couch come bed, I think it wastes a lot of space that could be utilized. A murphy bed could allow a cozy lounge come dining and work space.
think about that - in 78 inches!
Wow, what a presentation! Very impressive. I imagine this design is more robust than a van, but I bet it is more expensive and gets worse gas mileage than a van. Still, its unique features are very attractive. I would definitely consider this model when the time comes. Thanks for a very thorough video!!
ARV's engineering + Vision Venture's outdoor sundeck concept + Tesla's full electric and autopilot = My ultimate dream RV.
Finally...a high quality RV. So tired of poorly constructed and high priced rigs. Love what these guys do!
What a great informative video! Great job, thanks
You set a new benchmark! Incredible.
Wow! I’m REALLY impressed with this box van! I really believe they have this one right!
I am absolutely in love with the B Box! You fella's are off the charts with innovations! Bravo!
This is genius. Very well done, i am impressed.
Jon is a great engineer worked with him for many years!
Wow this custom conversion is SO AWESOME.
The interior is amazing. The RV has great EVERYTHING !
Love this solution! Much better than working within the confines of a normal van. Good straight corners and more space! Love to see how you continue to evolve this concept!
I love everything about this... except the look. 3 colors, different sized windows, right angles mixed with round corners and those air tabs create a mess of inconsistent design. I think you have a winner here, it just needs more curb appeal. Really amazing work!
Mine will be in satin black, for cab and camper. That will easily hide some of the things you mention.
Ok, this whole sprinter van thing is for people that want to have all the amenities of an RV- without driving an RV. Well, ya know what? Doesn't work. Ya might as well just get a damn RV.
Agree. Awesome engineering, just need to make it sexier now 🙃
I love the direction you’re taking! I didn’t see anything for a seating area and table in the front and I’d love to have an extra sleep area up front for guests too.
I am blown away by the intensity and depth of attention to every miniscule detail that your team puts into these vehicles. I am intrigued and "sold" by your extreme commitment to 'doing it right' (my dad was an aerospace engineer, I grew up learning to appreciate conscious design - you guys are 'rocking it"")
Great looking BBOX build and really nice video production quality too!
Outstanding Overview - Now You Got My Attention. I Will Be Getting In-touch Soon.
@Omar Williams I know they are expensive because I already spoken to them months ago. I got the money and might be buying two of them...
Best you mind your own business while you do your own DIY project. Capisce?
I really really like the idea of the recirculating water. I just don't understand why there are more homes/apts/condos built with systems like that!
Love where you are going with this!
Recycling water What a great idea! I love the plain jane look too. No silly graphics. No crazy paint jobs. No leaky slides, and badly designed murphy beds. It's simple, functional, extremely reliable, very comfortable. I would buy one in a heartbeat if I could afford it.
The more often i see these B-Box videos the more i like it. Your vans are so beautiful, that i can't quite depart from them. As this project B-Box grows, its ever more enticing, though its interior must be even more beautiful than the vans. The Tardis quality in the vans is magical, as though to induce another state of being. Bespoken elegance in several of them. So the B-Box has to surpass this & am waiting for the one Imaginer to go there in their design. Thus far the B-Box interiors are more practical. Waiting for the elevated aesthetics to emerge, which can include the charming elements of the vans. Your vans are just too beautiful, so the competition is tough. Proud of y'all, each with their creative brilliance contributing.
Woww!! Every client drives you forward. I love that ❤
I just love this ! Can't wait to get mine. Did I hear you say you can do this on a 144" wheel base? Would love to see this..Love your work!!
Love it! More “trucky” and love the extra insulation as I live in Canada.
Thank you so much for making this video. It was so informative, and really goes to show how much effort you guys put into innovating and doing things better for your customers. Well done to everyone at ARV!
Just... wow! So many things on my “wanted” list in this build, from the recirculating shower and diesel heat system (including the floor and tanks), all-sides discreet cameras and lights, big insulated windows, 4 seasons... and so much more! 😱🤗 I had to rewind and pause several times to look at the diagrams and systems. So impressed by the ingeniously and level of expertise. 🤔🤯🚐🙌🏻
I love this! i'm 6'7" tall, and have stayed away from sprinters and the like because of my height. So glad for this often overlooked height capacity for vehicles of this size.
One thing I did no hear mentioned was PV solar add-on capacity. With the large, flat roof, I'd love to know how solar would be considered.
I still see those jacks hanging down so clearance is less than 9 in.
An example of true American ingenuity! I could reduce all of my RV setup options and shopping list down into a single line: "Advanced RV B Box." Big applauds to you, Mike and your team.
Love the shower recycler.
I’ll be calling you on Monday. If not even tomorrow to see if you are around!!
I absolutely love this B-Box. It is well designed, you have thought of everything. Question: Can you put solar on the top?
Of course you could put solar on top, but customer wants to go stealth so I'm sure the batteries and generator on board have all the power they need.
Really inspiring to see such attention to detail and quality. Everyone involved must feel tremendous pride.
For almost a year and tons of hours watching videos and researching travel vans...I stumble upon this video. What an incredible, attentive team working together to create the best match for their clients. I feel educated as the team shared the foundation of their reasoning to create each element of the B Box.
I'm guessing this wonderful vehicle is out of my budget and I will now "settle" for whatever I move forward with. {{sigh}} ~S
This is such a brilliant build. I've been looking at ways of incorporating passive house design principles into a van build with a box, and you've done almost exactly that. I've converted a MWB Sprinter here in the UK for myself and have been designing a chassis cab/box system for my new van. If you don't mind me asking, how does the fuel ecomony differ between van and box and how much did the Aerodyne components help?
This is perfect. Just need to figure on how to get my power wheel chair inside. This could be a future home.
figure out how to get fit!
The shower water filtration system is genius!!! Well done!!!
Amazing RV. Class B with an interior that is like a class C! Well done!
It looks and sounds fantastic, could we have an idea of the cost please? I know there is a lot of customisation possible but a start figure for the build that you showed would give everyone an indication of cost.
I would be interested in a basic, bare bones model that I could customize myself. I don't want all the expensive, high tech stuff. Too many things to break and costly to repair. I would want the air system and a good power system set up but other than that I would want to build my own interior without the automatic bed, control panel, TV, and electronics. A laptop and a bluetooth speaker is all I need.
The water recycling is amazing though. Depending on your climate, the heated water tanks are an amazing idea as well. There are some real ideas here, but I agree with you, 70% of this build is for people who take their Mercedes/BMW to the dealerships without thinking about the price. I like it… but making it yourself would mean you could fix it yourself.
There is a bbox for sale on their site with no build.
Very nice...good thing you took a cab and tried something new...
Love that you guys starting building your own boxes. I can’t wait to see the end result of a stealth forward build
Thrilled to see a viable Class B for a 6’5” guy. I like Class B’s as a concept but can’t fit in anything I’ve yet encountered.
As a fellow 6'5" guy I agree
I'm 6'6" and been looking for one for a long time. To the point I was considering lifting my roof. Untill I saw this
How does the cab impact heating/cooling? Can the cab be closed off, or is that not necessary? Love your work.
The OEM front windows are less insulated than other parts of the van. We'll often install hooks for an insulated privacy curtain that drapes around the cab and stores in a cabinet, or we'll do a sliding bulkhead curtain in between the seats and the living space.
Wow. I’ve been collecting and thinking of ideas for what would be the best design for my family. You all are the closest of anyone I’ve seen and have some better ideas than what I’ve thought. Really nice.
A well spent 40min. of my time for this elaborate walkthrough!🤗...❤️ed it! The price🤔, well that maybe another story!😄...
I must have missed the stove top. What do you cook on top off?
Did not see it either but could utilize a plug-in induction cooktop that can be stowed when not in use or cut a hole in the stainless countertop, recess it and provide a cover for countertop use ala electric luxury RV's.
Those leveling jacks hanging down look like a potential problem with rough terrain
They should try to make them turn side way then go down to set up
Don't u think they didn't think about this?
I'm very impressed with the creativity and super engineering you've put into this. It will be interesting to check back when you have products ready for market.
Another great innovation by ARV with customers comfort and safety as priority. Excellent job and congratulations to the entire team.
I saw a mention of solar but no solar on the roof???
Every ARV RV is a one off custom designed by the customer and company working together. If you want solar on the roof they'll put solar up there.
This box does not have solar, but we imagine future boxes will utilize the roof real estate for solar. The second engine alternator is often enough to top off the battery.
@@AdvancedRV Thank you for clearing that up.
Would think about 1400 watts of flexible solar panels would fit on the roof too
What is the width of the side entry door?
This is fantastic, better than a van. Love all the design details and how strong everything is.
What an amazing piece of engineering! Hats off to you guys!
