Is it possible to enlarge this cable? I'm new to knitting and want to use it in a blanket but would like the pattern to be larger. I tried doubling it but it didn't quite work out. Any suggestions? Thank you!
That makes more sense then just doubling the amount of stitches which is what I tried so that only covered horizontal but I don't quite understand how I would double it vertically. Thank you so much for trying to help!*****
I'm not an expert, but I'm guessing that on the rows that you are supposed to purl for a flat piece, you would just knit those rows if you are working in the round.

Yes that is correct. You would knit what would be purls and visa versa

If i dont have a cable needle what could i use in its stead?
