A good friend turned me onto Marcel a number of years ago and I thought it was the cutest little thing and the voice is adorable. So good Marcel is going BIG TIME
Love Jenny Slate, and ALWAYS loved Leslie Stahl. I was heartbroken on Jenny's first night on SNL when she accidentally said the F-word instead of "freakin'," and Seth Meyers was trying to console her during the Goodbyes at the end of the program. She knew she was going to be a one-season player on her first night because of it. One of my favorite sketches was "Pageant Talk" with Gene and Wanda Gail Shimp."
I just watched it in Amsterdam, and I swear people were clapping when it finished, and didn't move from their seats for a long time. Such a beautiful piece of imagination.

I don't care how expensive it will be to see this movie, I am going to watch Marcel the Shell in theaters no matter what. And also it has A24. The perfect icing on the cake.
I find it amazing that people actually think being alive on a speck of dust, no matter what form you take, that's falling through undefined space, with no other life forms in site, headed to who knows where ... should be easy. What about that sounds like it would be easy?
My local one isn't playing until the 22, and it seems other local theaters in my area will also be playing it on the 22 so I think that might be when the wide release is?

A24 has made a 4th family film. The first three being Boys State and The Farewell and Minari. Keep it up. Maybe they could do a family film that is in another language. I remember seeing the trailer for this before Petite Maman at AMC Theaters

We are living in the Dark Ages of creativity and originality Nobody has any good storys anymore This "movie" is based on a cute voice. That's one of the stupidest premises ever. This world is devoid of enriching and inspired "content"... That word is hilarious and ridiculous, in and of itself. WHAT "content"??? IT'S EMPTY. "OMG A CHARACTER THAT'S SMALL IT'S PURE GENIUS" No wonder so many people get Alzheimer's.
Wrong! The voice became a character. The character is specific & not random. Hilarious you're incapable of distinguishing personality traits. Obviously a personal flaw of yours. Seek help!
This and Everything Everywhere All at Once are the two best movies I’ve seen all year. I love “Marcello” and Nana Connie.
