Jenny Slate knocks it out of the park on every project she's involved in! Even her small role in Everything, everywhere all at once is great! She's a fantastic voice actor too.
The feature length film was one of the best movies I’ve ever seen in my life. It was funny and cute but profound and poignant. I bawled like a baby. Jenny Slates ability to bring so much life, character, and emotion to an inanimate object… she’s an incredibly talented actress. I dont think there’s a single thing of hers i haven’t loved

I just watched this movie today with my nephew and it was so funny and cute. I loved how Marcel's friends were made from the most random tiny things around the house like a nubbed pencil on wheels, a mini wheats cereal, peanut shells and a tampon. XD
I think he must be relieved, she had betrayed her ex husband with him backstage of the movie that she had a small role to get closer to chris ews, so her husband filed for divorce from her, even though he continued working at Marcell. she can't do without men, and now she's got another one she's promoting, as he's the son of wealthy old Jews and doesn't work. poor thing
When she performs the voice, it is so incredibly soft like just barely above a whisper, so much that she can’t hear her own voice (especially in a giant TV studio) so plugging her ear helps her hear/feel it resonate through the skull so she can judge that she’s at a good “pitch”, and also why she uses a close-proximity vocal microphone to pick it up properly, it’s similar to when Mariah Carey plugs her ear when doing the super high pitched whistle notes.
If you think it's that easy to do a voice fitting the character and making a good performance with it, than put your money where your mouth is a give it a shot. I bet you can't do it.
