- Today we're taking a look at KMKE Milwaukee General Mitchell International Airport in Microsoft Flight Simulator. It's got to be one of the most impressive international airports I've seen in the simulator so far.

Also - apologies for reversing the ICAO code when I read it out - I'm good at doing that :)
As someone that regularly flies in and out of MKE, this is a really excellent job recreating it. The interiors look especially accurate, even the empty Terminal E. Sadly MKEs traffic has significantly decreased in recent years with Midwest Airlines merging with Frontier. We do get a yearly visit from either the Navy Blue Angels or Airforce Thunderbirds who perform at the Air and Water show downtown, so its always fun to see (and feel) them do low flybys while practicing the week in advance.
Been flying in and out of KMKE all weekend. Love it.
Previously, I've only seen this level of detail on much smaller Polish airports done by Drzewiecki Design.
Awesome video of my home airport! Thanks for sharing!
I've flown out of Mitchell many times and this is by far the best rendition of it I've ever seen. It's about time Milwaukee gets some love in the sim.
Avgeek based in Milwaukee here. This is stunningly accurate
went in and out of there in 2003 going to Oshkosh drove right by the Harley Factory
I have been to this airport, and it looks very real. Lots of real life landmarks. Awesome
The terminal with no people is perfect. It has been mothballed for years so it makes sense that the company didn’t put people into Terminal E.
That's good to know - thank you! :)
Hands down the best free airport in MSFS!
I want to know when scenery designers are going to learn how airplanes are actually parked at an airport? Practically all the GA planes need to be turned 180* so they are parked correctly. The same thing goes for the GA parking spots from Asobo. They are all backwards. A thing of note though, that when I try to start on RWY 1R or 19L it will always put you on RWY 1L for some reason. It is a nice airport but there are some bugs.
Hi,
Was wondering if you are going to review Beyond ATC on your channel now it's realised mainstream.
Your opinion would be useful before l spend money purchasing it.
Default ATC is pants.
I'll get there eventually :) It's a subscription isn't it? Why not just try it for a month ?
Has anybody tried this on Xbox? Of course it's not free there, which is horrible, but wonder if it is too demanding for that platform. It looks great on this video, and Milwaukee did need something in the sim besides the stupid enhanced night.
